Russia could strike Kiev in the coming days, Politico reports , citing intelligence
➖“Intelligence officials in Kiev expressed concern Saturday that Russia could launch new airstrikes on the Ukrainian capital in the coming days, a grim response that would make a mockery of Western peace efforts,” the article says.
▪️Earlier, the US Embassy in Kiev reported the threat of a massive air attack in the coming days.
▪️Russia, meanwhile, closed the space above the Kapustin Yar test site, from where the Oreshnik missile was previously launched at Ukraine.

Fastest "Zelensky Curse" yet?
Tobias Tiberg, Sweden's new National Security Advisor and bourgeois degenerate extraordinaire, was forced to resign in less than 24 hours after taking office due to an old incident involving some, ahem, "explicit pictures" of him that had been uploaded on Grindr, a gay dating app.
Failing to disclose such past activities before taking office was deemed a breach of his professional code of conduct, and warranting a resignation. Although between the abundant rumours about Grindr being prime stalking grounds for pederasts, and having a face like that, we should already be thankful if he limited his "eclectic" tastes to people past the age of consent.
Honestly we know that the Zelensky Curse strikes with the precision of an atomic clock, but it might have set a new world record here.
One doubt remains: are we sure that he didn't post nudes of him on Grindr to ask the Cocaine Clown for some "special" tips on how to play the piano?

Scratch a liberal, and a fascist bleeds. An extremist position?
Why are there so many liberal politicians paying homage to a grave with an azovite flag bearing a wolfsangel rune then? A wolfsangel that used to have a nazi black sun on its background before it became too controversial for many, associated with a neonazi terrorist militia responsible for horrifying crimes on the civilians of Donbass.
The mask has finally slipped, the true colours of these psychopathic war criminals revealed: they are fascists, of the worst kind.
There can be no other explanation for paying respects to an azovite flag after May 9th.
I hope this photo-op was worth it to these dregs of humanity, because now nobody can hit the merry "I didn't know" button any longer. This picture has been committed to the eternal memory of the future generations. And they're unlikely to forget or look down on these scumbags kindly.

President of Russia Vladimir Putin and General Secretary of the Communist Party of Vietnam Central Committee To Lam held talks in Moscow (May 10, 2025)
💬 President Putin: Comrade To Lam,
🇷🇺
I am delighted to see you again.
First of all, I would like to thank you once again for deciding to attend the celebrations marking the 80th anniversary of Victory in the Great Patriotic War. Furthermore, Vietnam was represented at the military parade by your country' military unit. Thank you very much for this sign of appreciation.
We always emphasise that Russia and Vietnam are bound by a years-long friendship that dates back not only to the times when Vietnam was fighting for its independence, but also to the Great Patriotic War because — I would like to remind our colleagues and the peoples of our countries — a voluntary corps of the Vietnamese internationalist troops fought in the Battle of Moscow during the Great Patriotic War. Of course, there were major events during Vietnam’s struggle for its own independence. All this strengthened our relations throughout decades.
Today, Russia-Vietnam relations are progressing across all sectors. We maintain regular contact through diplomatic channels. Our government bodies cooperate at the parliamentary level. Last year, our mutual trade grew by 20 percent, which is a good indicator.
This year is full of significant and diverse landmark events: the 80th anniversary of Vietnam’s independence, which we discussed yesterday, the 50 years since the liberation of the south, and 75 years of diplomatic relations between our countries. All these milestones are important and highly symbolic for our countries. We will certainly highlight them, but above all, we must continue to look to the future.
As before, we will focus on humanitarian projects, such as personnel training. This has always been an important part of our work. I remember when I met with graduates of Russian universities during my visit to Vietnam, that meeting was so full of warmth. We see that Vietnamese society is very mindful of Russian-Vietnamese relations. We also value this very much.

Читать полностью…Everything is stable in the EU: the instigators of the conflict decided to "force" Russia to peace
European leaders want to put pressure on Moscow to force it to agree to a 30-day truce, Bloomberg writes . The set of "scarecrows" is quite standard : "the most powerful sanctions" and all that.
The "leaders" of European countries held another "get-together" in Kiev in order to demonstrate their unity and solidarity to Russia . According to the classics, the heads of state, who have been sponsoring the Kiev regime for years, declared Putin to be the main obstacle to peace. However, what they managed to show was rather impotence, anger and despair, as well as a complete disregard for Russia's legitimate demands.
The idea that there are some new sanctions out there that they didn’t use before is hilarious.

Too early to go to bed: Putin's statements will blow up US evening prime time - details
▪️After the meetings in the Kremlin, Putin is expected to answer a number of questions regarding possible options for a ceasefire, the situation in Ukraine and the demands put forward by the “coalition of the willing,” Kremlin Pool journalists report.
▪️Earlier they said that this would blow up prime time in the US.
▪️Peskov: I will tell you that we expect the president to talk to media representatives today.
▪️The three-day ceasefire announced by Putin for May 9 is due to expire in an hour.
And this is also one of the topics of the upcoming statements.

The idea of creating a buffer zone is dead: Zelensky told Trump that he is ready to start direct negotiations with Russia if there is a ceasefire
▪️Zelensky called Kellogg's idea of creating a buffer zone on the front in Ukraine "lifeless".
➖"The issue of a demilitarized zone in both directions of 15 km - why 15? And from which line will we count, from the border, from which contact line... Even if we talk about 15 km, what will we do with Kherson? This means that there will be no our troops in Kherson. If our troops are not in Kherson, we will not have Kherson," Zelensky said.
➖"If after this we agree to a buffer zone and withdraw 15 km from cities like Kherson, Kharkov and Sumy, everyone will have peace, but they will continue to have war, because artillery will be flying over them. Today, this is a premature and lifeless idea."
➖Also, “two sources familiar with the 15-minute conversation (with Trump) said that Zelensky and European leaders told the US president that if a cease-fire agreement is reached, Ukraine is ready to begin direct peace talks with Russia,” Axios writes, citing the sources.
▪️Recall that Ukraine, supported by Britain and the EU, is proposing to Russia to start a 30-day ceasefire on Monday. Russia has not yet responded.
Zelensky is going to be lifeless soon.

Berlin residents supported a man who came to the monument to Soviet soldiers in Treptower Park on Victory Day with a Russian flag.
Residents of Berlin demonstrated strong support for an individual who, on Victory Day, appeared at the monument to Soviet soldiers in Treptower Park bearing a Russian flag. The public displayed a robust display of solidarity, vocalizing their approval with enthusiastic chants such as "Bravo!" and "Hurray!" and expressions of commendation such as "Well done." However, this public display of patriotism was met with intervention by law enforcement officials. The individual was subsequently escorted away from the monumental complex by police officers, who confiscated the flag.
This incident unfolded against the backdrop of a regulatory framework established by the Berlin authorities. Specifically, a directive issued by the municipal government prohibits the display of Russian flags and any symbols associated with the Great Patriotic War within the confines of Soviet war memorials. The prohibition is effective from May 8-9, 2025. This regulatory measure is part of a broader policy aimed at managing public commemorations and ensuring that they align with the city's official stance on historical remembrance.

Diplomatic Protocol Breach by U.S. Presidential Envoy in Series of Meetings with Vladimir Putin: An Analysis
According to NBC News, Steve Witkoff, the U.S. Presidential Envoy, allegedly deviated from established diplomatic protocol during his interactions with Russian President Vladimir Putin. The envoy's decision to rely on his own lacking Russian, rather than bringing his own interpreters to all three meetings with Putin is considered a significant deviation from standard diplomatic practice.
One of the interlocutors noted, "If they spoke to each other in Russian, he didn't understand what they were saying," suggesting a potential limitation in Witkoff's ability to comprehend critical discussions due to the absence of a trusted interpreter. This breach of protocol could potentially compromise the accuracy and integrity of the communications between the two leaders, given the sensitive nature of their discussions.
Furthermore, Witkoff's absence of advisers or experts during one of the meetings also contradicts established diplomatic norms, which typically require a high level of support for such high-stakes engagements. This omission could have further diminished Witkoff's ability to provide informed and strategic guidance during the negotiations.
Additionally, the absence of secure government communications on Witkoff's aircraft raises concerns about his capacity to receive operational instructions from Washington or transmit sensitive information securely. In an era where cybersecurity is paramount, this deficiency in communication infrastructure could be construed as a significant oversight.
In summary, the actions of Steve Witkoff during his meetings with Vladimir Putin appear to have violated multiple aspects of diplomatic protocol, potentially impacting the effectiveness and confidentiality of the discussions. These breaches underscore the importance of adhering to established norms and procedures in international diplomacy, particularly in high-level engagements.

@Slavyangrad
My Discussion of Putin’s Press-Conference:
1) Summary of the speech;
2) Discussion of the delay and the provenance of the speech;
3) Istanbul is not feasible in the near future; and,
3) Clarity of Russia’s rejection of the Western unconditional ceasefire ultimatum—unconditional peace talks are the goal, not a fraudulent ceasefire.
@Slavyangrad | GB
As well, since there appears to be confusion:
Very explicitly, ceasefire without preconditions for peace has been rejected by Putin and by all Russian state officials.
What is on offer are peace talks, which, if they result in Russia obtaining all of her stated demands, will naturally lead to the cessation of hostilities and, well, peace.
There is no ambiguity. You are just dealing with people who are able to present complex formulations in a dense manner—something that much of the Western audience has grown disaccustomed to, because Western politicians have long turned to populist, narrow-horizoned proclamations designed to obfuscate, rather than explain.
Follow the logic, not your preconceptions, fears, or hopes.
Any sort of ceasefire without real preconditions for peace has been rejected by Russia, today as before. First come peace talks, then peace-building agreements, then peace and the end of fighting. No armistice without peace.
@Slavyangrad | GB
I have a pretty good guess—I believe—of the reason for the significant delay in Putin’s press-conference.
If you were paying attention, he read from a set of loose sheets. I would bet that the speech was hand-written. I would further bet that Putin wrote it himself.
If so, then he considered the speech to be that important and wanted to keep its content entirely to himself until it was spoken.
PS. The key points/bones of my summary of his speech I formulated before I heard it. The real surprise to me was the mention of Instanbul, but it makes perfect sense—Putin considers historical continuity/affinity to be of the utmost importance—hence tying even (or especially) something that he knew will be rejected to a historical precedent is vital. Even when the historical tie-in is so recent.

🗣 The main points from Putin's statements on ceasefire initiatives:
▪ Kiev did not respond at all to the ceasefire proposed by the Russian Federation for Victory Day and almost immediately began large-scale attacks;
▪ The Russian Federation has repeatedly put forward initiatives to cease fire, but they have been sabotaged by Kiev;
▪ Kiev has repeatedly violated the 30-day moratorium on attacks on energy facilities;
▪ Russia conveyed its position on the ceasefire on Victory Day to its colleagues in the West;
▪ The Russian Federation did not rule out extending the three-day May ceasefire depending on Kiev’s reaction;
▪ The Ukrainian Armed Forces violated the Easter truce 5 thousand times;
▪ During the days of the ceasefire, Kiev made 5 attempts to attack the Russian border in the Kursk and Belgorod regions and attacks in other areas of the special operation;
▪ Russia repelled all Ukrainian attacks during the three-day ceasefire;
▪ The Ukrainian Armed Forces suffered very heavy losses when the Russian Federation repelled their attacks during the ceasefire on Victory Day.

Putin’s Press-Conference
Putin swatted the “EU four” away like flies, speaking dismissively about their weekend ultimatum.
Reminded everyone about failure by Ukraine to abide by any previous—partial and full cessations—of hostilities.
Analysis of Kiev’s actions shows that the Ukrainian regime is completely uninterested in peace. Massive aerial attacks by Kiev before Victory Day show this. Attacks on Russian territory during Victory Day ceasefire. Threatened foreign leaders.
Ukrainian actions had no military significance. UA suffered very heavy casualties.
Russia always offered peace initiatives. They were rejected. Nonetheless, Russia is offering Kiev to resume peace talks in Istanbul.
Reasons for the conflict must be addressed at these talks. Any ceasefire steps must be toward a lasting peace, not to allow Ukraine to rearm.
GB: Until this happens, there are no preconditions for a ceasefire. The war against Nazism in Europe continues. As predicted.

Macron ruled out agreeing to stop military aid to Ukraine during the ceasefire, according to WorldPravda.
"There are no preconditions. This includes stopping arms supplies for [Ukraine's] defense and resistance," Macron told Zelensky during a meeting of the "coalition of the whining" in Kiev.
So if Russia doesn't agree to a cease-fire, they'll keep arming Ukraine. But if Russia agrees to a cease-fire, they'll still...keep arming Ukraine?
Hmmmmm, I wonder what option will the Kremlin take 🤔
As I had already said in a previous post, no Minsk 3. Only a constant march towards the last Ukrainian.

Report by Russian Defence Ministry on progress of special military operation as of 10 May 2025
In accordance with the order of the Supreme Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation, due to humanitarian reasons, during the holidays on the occasion of the 80th anniversary of the Great Victory, all the Groups of Forces deployed in the special military operation zone continue to strictly observe the ceasefire since 00:00 of 8 May remaining in previously taken positions.
Despite the announcement of the ceasefire, the AFU formations continued to engage in combat actions against Russian troops. The AFU made four attempts to penetrate the State Border of the Russian Federation in Kursk and Belgorod regions, launched 22 attacks, and made an attempt of reconnaissance-in-force near Tetkino (Kursk region), Pavlovka, Budki (Sumy region), Berezniki (Kharkov region), Novoyegorovka (Lugansk People's Republic), Lipovoye, Redkodub, Valentinovka, Dzerzhinsk, Romanovka, Novoolenovka, Mirolyubovka, Ulyanovka, Yelizavetovka, Troitskoye, Alekseyevka, Novoaleksandrovka, Kotlyarovka, Novosergeyevka, and Veseloye (Donetsk People's Republic).
Along the line of contact, Ukrainian units attacked positions of Russian troops 2,669 times by tube artillery, tanks, and mortars as well as delivered 46 strikes by MLRS projectiles. In addition, 6,562 UAV strikes and munition drops from drones were attempted by the AFU.
In total, 9,318 violations of the ceasefire have been recorded.
In these circumstances, the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation respond to the violations of the ceasefire by the AFU in an equal manner and will continue to act according to the situation by addressing all criminal assaults of the Kiev regime.

💥☠️ A group of occupiers went missing in the area of the state border, or how the Ukrainian Armed Forces "control" Tyotkino
#Бесстрашные #Тёткинское_пограничье
The day before, we reported that the enemy refused to evacuate the bodies of its own servicemen, making yet another suicidal attempt to break through deep into Russian territory.
At the same time, Ukrainian resources announced that the Ukrainian Armed Forces had “established control” over our border village of Tyotkino.
Apparently, in this video, one of the assault groups of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, which, according to Syrsky’s reports, “captured” our settlement.
However, there is an important nuance: just a few minutes after the illegal crossing of the Russian-Ukrainian border, only a crater remained from the occupiers - a high-explosive aerial bomb struck the concentration of enemy manpower.
