📝Who's Really in Charge?📝
Who actually stands behind the new American administration?
Trump's political opponents have struck a new blow — The New York Times published an article revealing connections between the scandalous Jeffrey Epstein and tech billionaire Peter Thiel.
Those who commissioned the article knew exactly where to hit — they're gradually undermining the MAGA movement, within which growing discontent is rising. Trump supporters are being pushed toward the idea that the president's promises (such as revealing "Epstein's client list") aren't being fulfilled, while real levers of power end up in the hands of technocrats like Thiel.
🔻Who is Peter Thiel and why is he associated with the Trump administration?
▪️Peter Thiel, venture investor and co-founder of Palantir, has long established himself not only as a visionary entrepreneur, but also as an architect of new political reality. In recent years, Thiel and his inner circle — alumni of the so-called "PayPal Mafia" and related venture funds — have occupied strategically important positions in American power infrastructure.
▪️A special place in this network is occupied by J.D. Vance, the current vice president and former Thiel protégé. Vance became a symbol of the "new wave" of MAGA elite: his political rise would have been impossible without Thiel's financial and organizational support. But Vance is just one of many. The personnel policy of the 2025 administration increasingly resembles casting among graduates of tech startups and investment funds, rather than traditional political institutions.
🔻Who else is on Thiel's protégé list?
▪️Among the most notable — Elon Musk, who needs no introduction;
▪️Charlie Kirk — founder of Turning Point USA, political activist actively promoting technocratic and right-conservative ideas among youth;
▪️Christopher Lattner — technology advisor, previously worked at Apple and Tesla;
▪️and Peter Navarro — Trump's economic advisor, supporting a course toward integrating the private sector into government functions.
🔻So what did Thiel get by promoting his people into the administration?
▪️Companies connected to Thiel and his team receive billion-dollar government contracts.
▪️Palantir, for example, became a key contractor for federal agencies on data processing and analysis, personal information database integration, and national security provision.
▪️Such contracts not only bring billion-dollar profits, but also allow the private sector to control critically important elements of government infrastructure.
❗️Essentially, technology companies led by Thiel and his like-minded associates are becoming not just service providers, but full-fledged subjects of power.
Surveillance, analytics, and predictive modeling systems developed by Palantir and similar structures are being implemented in law enforcement agencies, intelligence services, and even civilian departments. This allows the private sector to accumulate data arrays previously unavailable to anyone except the state, and form new mechanisms of social control.
❓And what about Donald Trump? Trump, despite all his charisma and political energy, is increasingly becoming a symbolic figure — a screen behind which power redistribution in favor of technocratic elites is taking place.

🎙 Video address by Russia's Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov on the occasion of Russian Language Day (Moscow, June 6, 2025)
💬 Friends,
My heartfelt wishes go to you on the occasion of Russian Language Day, which takes place annually on the birthday of great Russian poet and writer Alexander Pushkin.
🇷🇺 The importance of the Russian language as a pillar underlying the Russian civilisation and the whole Russian world can hardly be overestimated. Our “great and mighty” (as it is called) language is among the world’s top five most widely spoken languages.
It is widely used as an official or working language on international platforms. Its role in the development of scientific, cultural and educational exchanges and people-to-people contacts is enormous. Russian Language Day features on the UN calendar of significant dates as part of the programme for promoting multilingualism and cultural diversity.
Spreading the language of Leo Tolstoy and Ivan Turgenev, and Russian culture across the former Soviet Union objectively contributes to the formation of a space of peace, security, economic and humanitarian cooperation in Eurasia. I would like to note the great strides in the joint efforts with our partners to complete the procedures related to the establishment of the International Organisation for the Russian Language that was initiated by President of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev. Importantly, all countries without exception, where the Russian language is known and loved, and where the people are willing to study it, are welcome to join it. I look forward to the Organisation becoming operational soon.
<...>
✍️ In 1942, outstanding poetess Anna Akhmatova wrote about it in her poem “Courage” as follows:
None fears to die under the bullet’s siege,
None regrets loosing one’s home here, —
And we will preserve you, O great Russian speech,
O Russian great word, we all bear.
We’ll carry you out, clear and free, as a wave,
Give you to our heirs, and from slavery save.
Forever!
Russia intends to seize all of Left Bank Ukraine, Odessa and Nikolaev next year, Deputy Head of the Presidential Administration Colonel Pavel Palisa, who came to Washington together with Yermak, told American journalists.
Politico reports this.
On Wednesday, Palisa held a briefing for a bipartisan group of senators, which means he likely delivered the same message to U.S. congressmen.
"Unfortunately, they are not talking about peace. They are preparing for war," Palisa said.
According to him, this year the Russian Federation will try to completely seize the Donetsk and Luhansk regions and create a "buffer zone" along the northern border.
Let us recall that Yermak and his delegation went to Washington to convince Trump to introduce tough sanctions against the Russian Federation. We wrote about this in more detail here .
Earth to colonel clueless… we are in a war.

US Discusses Ending Support for Kiev — The Atlantic
▪️Trump is unhappy with the attack of Ukrainian UAVs on Russian military airfields.
▪️The drone strikes have reignited Trump's long-running anger at Zelensky and sparked a new debate in the White House over whether the US should "leave Ukraine."
▪️Separately, Trump told aides this week that he does not believe a summit with him, Zelensky and Putin would be the way to end the war or would happen anytime soon.
Not sure who The Atlantic hates more, Russia or Trump?

They've arrived: A boat with Ukrainian Armed Forces militants was destroyed in the Kherson region
UAV crews of the 18th Combined Arms Army destroyed a boat carrying enemy personnel.
Zipping around in speed boats in the era of drones is a pretty dumb idea.

- V. Gladkov arrived at the building of the Oktyabrsky District Court, which the Ukrainian Armed Forces struck with an aircraft-type drone.
- While he was inspecting the scene, the Nazis struck again.
- The governor himself was not injured, but the driver of a passing car was injured.
- The detonation knocked out windows and damaged the façade.

🇷🇺💥🇺🇦The Russian Armed Forces launched a missile strike on the Lvov region, Chernigov and Lutsk.
The gas infrastructure was destroyed.
@Slavyangrad
For now, it is reasonable to consider the strike on objects in Ukraine either preparatory or limited due to reasons known only to the military. In Kiev, presumably, it hit TEC-4 and TEC-5 (CHPPs), as well as Patriot air defense missile systems. Judging by the data that has been studied so far, the strike is clearly not of the volume and scale that was expected. It is quite possible that the second wave will be launched later.

Another important thing: "Russia's plans" for 2025-26 according to the Ukrainian Public Chamber...
Another media-important thing that happened overnight, I believe, was the statement by the Deputy Head of the Ukrainian Presidential Administration Pasha Palisa regarding Russian military plans for 2025-26.
According to them, Russia wants to occupy the entire left bank and the south of Ukraine up to Moldova during this time.
In principle, I like this plan. And if we manage to break the back of the Ukrainian Armed Forces during this time (and the chances are there and they are high), then it is quite feasible.

Ukraine's Dirty War Is Just Beginning' - The Washington Post writes that the Kiev regime will continue to commit terrorist attacks in Russia.
'With Trump gone from peacemaker, at least for now, Ukraine will rely more than ever on its intelligence services, which have already shown the ability to strike deep inside Russia and around the world. The front lines in Ukraine will remain a hell of drones and artillery. But covert operations could escalate into a 'dirty war' beyond the front lines, with targeted assassinations, sabotage and attacks on countries that supply Russia with weapons.'
While Ukraine commits acts of terrorism, Russia will win the real war.

To strike or not to strike?
Putin's Oreshnik dilemma
A dramatic and devastating Russian retaliation is to be expected in response to the deadly June 1st terrorist attacks on Bryansk and Kursk railways and on strategic aviation. Any retaliation for the attacks must be much more dramatic and devastating than the mixed missile and drone attack which happened today. What alternatives are there for a truly decisive retaliatory strike?
The super-weapon which comes to mind is of course the Oreshnik MRBM. Oreshnik is potentially capable of annihilating large underground targets, though we don't fully know what it can do until we are allowed to see images of the impact zone when/if it is used again.
Any Oreshnik launch needs to be deconflicted with the US, in order to prevent it being mistakenly identified as a hostile ICBM Launch. That means the enemy will be warned 15 minutes in advance of any Oreshnik strike. Add to that the unflinching stare of enemy signals intelligence, waiting to gobble up any data about Oreshnik that is exposed during its use.
Back to the subject of retaliation. It's not so much which weapon is used to strike, but what the target is. Many high-value targets in Ukraine are currently off-limits under the legal framework of the SMO (Special Military Operation) which places limitations on target selection, particularly when it comes to political figures. Transition to a CTO (Counter-Terrorist Operation) will provide much more freedom in that regard.
To conclude, the decision point of launching a weapon such as the Oreshnik is not at all straightforward. There is little doubt that the pressure for a decisive retaliatory strike is very high.
@Slavyangrad
Merz said he urged Trump to impose sanctions against Russia.
'Ukraine is a victim. Russia can stop this at any moment. That is why I asked the president to act together with us and put pressure on Putin. A couple of weeks ago, I was a little more optimistic, when the first diplomatic initiatives were more or less successful. Now it has become difficult to get the Russians to the negotiating table. I asked the president to do more with regard to Russia. And you know that the Senate is considering a bill with new sanctions. I discussed it with my colleagues from the Senate. I very much hope that we will act in sync.'
💥💥💥The Russian Armed Forces launched an attack on an enemy facility in Ternopol; after the attack, the Gauleiter calls on people not to leave their homes unless absolutely necessary.
Here is a quote from enemy sources:
⚡️ Air quality measurements are being taken in the city – the mayor is asking people to limit their time outside;
⚡️ It is known that industrial facilities and infrastructure objects in Ternopol have been hit;
⚡️ Part of the city is without power. Water pressure in the city is low;
⚡️ In the Ternopol area, a specific hum can be heard; this is the sound of gas burning out of cylinders that were in industrial production, where the enemy struck;
⚡️ Local media write about the arrival of the VATRA enterprise, which develops and produces lighting equipment, and a refueling station in Ternopol;
⚡️ The OVA stated that today was the most massive attack on Ternopol region. Many hits.

🇷🇺🇺🇦Russian Ambassador to London Kelin - on the fact that external forces should not interfere in the Russian-Ukrainian conflict:
Such actions take the conflict to a new, more dangerous level of escalation. And therefore, it is better to avoid them, to better understand and remember what exactly we are doing. We are now dealing with a limited conflict, which, of course, has an impact on the security of all of Europe. However, it must remain limited, without developing into something bigger. We should not allow escalation, we should not provoke developments along the path leading to World War III. This is the worst of all possible scenarios.
