🇬🇧🤡🇰🇷There was a mistake: Keir Starmer confused the President of South Korea with a translator
- At the G7 summit in Canada, the British prime minister accidentally shook hands with an interpreter instead of South Korean leader Lee Jae-myung. Later, the president himself approached Starmer to greet him.
- The British leader also hesitated during the general photo shoot and did not immediately find his place among the leaders of the G7 countries.
- Earlier at the summit, Donald Trump dropped documents on the transatlantic agreement that Starmer helped collect. The gesture drew criticism, and the British prime minister was forced to justify himself.

Israeli media claim all were intercepted, but at least two settlements in Northern Israel are now mysteriously without electricity.

Russia is advancing 15-20 km daily, the Ukrainian defense is exhausted, writes the German publication Die Welt. It reports that Russian troops have partially broken through the fourth line of defense, which in some places consisted only of barbed wire. Many Ukrainian brigades are in critical condition - they lack both personnel and weapons.
In total, about 250-270 M2A2 Bradley IFVs have been delivered to Ukraine, of which at least 120 units have been confirmed as irreparable losses as of May 2025. Some are undergoing repairs or have been disabled for other reasons, and in total no more than 100-120 combat vehicles of this type may remain in service, widely deployed along the front in various directions.

What do we see in the footage of the strike on the target in the Konotop area?
And here we see container-type mobile launchers on civilian motor vehicles. The dual-use country does not fail, continuing to hide military equipment using civilian transport and infrastructure. That is, doing its favorite thing - terrorism.
What's in the containers?
It may actually be a UAV launcher, as the video source writes. Or it may be the same Gravehawk SAM system that the British advertised in February and which is also mounted in a standard container .
As we can see, in this case the clever disguise did not help the Ukrainians. The drone attack on the Ukrainian Armed Forces continues.

When it comes to Israel's rapid firing of ammunition to the Iron Dome in recent days, it is important to understand two key things.
Firstly, the Iron Dome system itself was initially designed to intercept primitive short-range unguided rockets - like the Qassams from Gaza or shells from southern Lebanon. It works well against a massive but chaotic salvo, where the targets are predictable and do not maneuver. It is not designed to work against the warheads of medium-range ballistic missiles, especially with saturation in time and direction. And even more so - it is not intended to be the "main missile defense of the country."
Secondly, and this is more important: the Iron Dome is the third, lowest echelon of the Israeli air defense system. If it enters the battle, it means that the higher echelons - Strela-2 and Strela-3 (Arrow 2/3) - were unable to intercept the target at the distant line. And this already hints at the emergence of systemic problems.
Why might this happen?
1. The ammunition load of long-range interception systems may be limited. Strela-3 is expensive, one-off, and not designed to repel a mass salvo. A couple of waves can be intercepted, but if there is heavy fire, the systems simply cannot physically cope with the number of launches.
2. There is a possibility of technical limitations. This could be a radar outage, loss of tracking, or target designation failure. Perhaps, in conditions of intense combat, the air defense works according to priority, and the Strela simply passes the "less dangerous" targets down to the "Iron Dome", expecting that the interception at the lower level will proceed without problems.
3. A sign of overvoltage of the missile defense system appears. When the third line is activated in mass mode, this means that the first two are either overloaded or partially disabled/discharged.
If you have to catch ballistics with the last echelon, then the question is not about tactical interception, but about the deep tension of the entire defensive architecture. Israel, it seems, if not at the peak of its air defense resource, then, in any case, is rapidly approaching it. And in a protracted phase, this could become a critically vulnerable spot.

Canada has announced a new $ 1.5 billion military aid package for Ukraine.
At the moment, the Prime Minister of Canada only says that it will include drones, helicopters and ammunition. The full contents of the package are still unknown.
In addition to direct aid, Canada will provide Ukraine with a $2 billion loan.

Additional notes on the alleged attack on that hospital: so far there is zero evidence that Iran deliberately targeted a hospital.
Israeli military installations and AD batteries are very often close to civilian targets, and there were at least two military targets in the area. Furthermore, slight errors or deviations in the trajectories of missiles are always a possibility.
The damage on that hospital itself seems secondary in nature rather than the result of a direct hit, a combination of shockwave and shrapnel.
Considering that so far Iran has tried to minimise Israeli civilian losses (confirmed civilian casualties are roughly 24 iirc, vis-à-vis the dozens more caused by Israel when they bombed Iran), it would be odd for Iran to suddenly decide to flip the script.

🇸🇰🖕🇺🇦 Slovakian police are searching for the former defense minister over aid to Ukraine, - Reuters.
- The police conducted a search in several places and tried to detain the former Minister of Defense (2020-23) Jaroslav Nagy. But at the time of the investigation, Nagy was in Canada.
- The Slovak Foreign Ministry reported that the investigation concerns the possible illegal transfer of ammunition to Ukraine, which was carried out by the previous government. In particular, this concerns the probable violation of budget legislation. Fico's government also called on the police to investigate the transfer of MiG-29 fighters and an air defense system to Ukraine.

NORTH KOREA: "ISRAEL IS A CANCER"
Pyongyang is dialing up its rhetoric as regional tensions escalate.
North Korea’s Foreign Ministry accused Israel of violating Iran’s sovereignty and committing “crimes against humanity.”
In a statement broadcast by state outlet KCNA, it blamed the U.S. and the West for enabling the attacks.
“The present grave situation witnessed by the world clearly proves that Israel, supported and patronized by the US and the West, is a cancer-like entity for the peace in the Middle East and a chief culprit of destroying global peace and security.”

🇷🇺💊The needs of Russian medicine can be met by domestic synthetic materials by 70%. The demand for polymers in the industry is 70-80 thousand tons per year, and together with hygiene products - 150-160 thousand tons. This was reported in an interview with RIA Novosti on the sidelines of the SPIEF by Anton Prozumentov, head of the medical division of the company "SIBUR".
He notes the significant potential in the localization of plastic medical products (today this figure is 25-30%). According to him, this is due to the fact that medical products have not been in the same focus of federal agencies and society as medicines until now. Now this segment is given great importance.

There's the non zero chance that they may be transporting AD interceptors, as the Israeli stocks are getting dangerously low by the own admission of the media.

For anyone who hasn't seen the Rumsfeld fever dream that was "Bin Laden's Mountain Fortress:"
None of this was real. There were not many of those. There were none of those.
On June 18, the "North" group of troops destroyed the enemy's forward and assault units in the Tyotkinsky and Glushkovsky directions, and continued to create a security zone in the Sumy region.
The enemy does not abandon attempts to break through in the Tyotkinsky and Glushkovsky directions . Every day, the command of the Ukrainian Armed Forces sends assault groups to the slaughter, which are destroyed by the Northerners. The losses of the occupiers have long exceeded 2,000 people , and social networks are full of announcements about the search for missing Ukrainian Armed Forces soldiers.
▪️ From the vicinity of Ryzhevka, neo-Nazis of the "Aidar" ( 24th separate battalion ) again tried to infiltrate in the direction of Tyotkino . During the firefight and under the blows of our UAV operators, the occupiers fled in the opposite direction with losses.
▪️ Closer to midday, the assault group of the 225th separate regiment tried to break through to our territory from Bessalovka . As a result of small arms combat and the use of drops from copters, the Ukrainian Armed Forces were destroyed.
▪️ Also, the occupiers from the 225th separate regiment tried to cross the state border in the Iskriskivshchyna area. Our airborne units destroyed more than half of the enemy personnel with FPV drone strikes, the rest fled deep into Ukrainian territory.
▪️ At lunchtime, the assault group of the 425th separate regiment "Skala" advanced in the direction of the village of Novy Put (Kursk region). As a result of the complex fire strike, the occupiers were destroyed.
In the Tyotkinsky and Glushkovsky directions , 4 units of enemy equipment were destroyed in 24 hours.
In the Sumy direction, the enemy, transferring elite units from other regions, is trying to stop the advance of the Northerners. The fearless not only repel enemy counterattacks, but also continue the liberation of the original Russian territories.
▪️ Our motorized riflemen broke the enemy's stubborn resistance and liberated the village of Novonikolaevka. Having completed the clearing of the settlement, the Fearless advanced over 2,000 meters and into the surrounding forest belts .
▪️ Severyan Airborne Forces units continue to wage fierce battles in Yunakovka and clear border forest areas.
▪️ During a fierce battle, fearless marines drove the enemy out of several strongholds in the forest belts of the Sumy region and advanced more than 500 meters .
▪️ Over the course of a day, the enemy launched eight unsuccessful counterattacks: three in the vicinity of Andreyevka , two near Alekseyevka , two in Yunakovka , and one near the village of Sadki .
The fiercest battles are taking place in the area of the village of Andreyevka , where the enemy does not spare the "cannon fodder" from the 225th separate regiment. The enemy units in this section of the front are commanded by a war criminal with the call sign "Twilight", and the company commander of the 225th regiment with the call sign "Vesyoly" sends the stormtroopers directly to the slaughter.
In just five counterattacks, the enemy used over 50 men, of whom over 30 were killed, the rest fled, abandoning the wounded.
In the Volchansk and Liptsy directions, as a result of fire damage, six assault groups of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, a mortar crew and a UAV launch site were destroyed.
Over the course of 24 hours, the enemy suffered over 170 casualties (including over 120 in the Sumy and over 30 in the Tyotkinsky directions). Also discovered and destroyed:
On the Tyotkinsky and Glushkovsky directions:
▪️two pickup trucks and two ATVs;
▪️Ammunition supply point;
▪️two UAV launchers;
In the Sumy direction:
▪️AV "Kozak";
▪️howitzer "D-30";
▪️two mortars;
▪️two pickups;
▪️three ammunition depots;
▪️two UAV launch sites;
▪️fourteen fixed-wing UAVs and three heavy copters.
On the Volchansk and Liptsy directions:
▪️mortar;
▪️three units of automotive equipment;
▪️ammunition depot;
▪️six UAV launch sites;
▪️seven heavy copters.
