The clown award of the day goes to Italian foreign minister Antonio Cojoni Tajani, who compares the EU flag to the blue mantle of the virgin Mary and its stars to the twelve tribes of Israel, saying something about the "common Judaeo-Christian values" shared across the union.
Values like suppressing dissent, suppressing churches that don't align with the apparatchiks, fomenting unrest both at home and abroad, supporting neonazis in Ukraine and headchoppers in the middle east, aiding and abetting genocide...
