White House Special Representative Witkoff is in favor of lifting energy sanctions against Russia, Politico reports, citing sources.
At the same time, Interior Secretary Doug Burgum would prefer to push Moscow out of the energy market in order to increase American energy exports. The administration is currently discussing this issue.
At the same time, Moscow is negotiating with Washington to resume the Nord Stream project, and the EU is worried that Trump and Putin "want to divide the European energy market and create [separate] spheres of influence," a European official said.

‘I’m getting calls from European leaders asking me to intervene’ – sleepy Joe spins a yarn.
‘I used to have very tough arguments with Kissinger. Eight or 10 days before he died, he called me and said, “Since Napoleon, French leaders have looked at Moscow with horror. And then you came along.” We expanded NATO, took in two new members. We were facing what was about to happen – an invasion of a European country. Ukraine. We had significantly strengthened NATO. And I’m getting calls – I won’t go into the details, I can’t – from a number of European leaders asking me to intervene.’
The European leaders Biden thinks he is talking to? Willy Brandt, Churchill, and Charles de Gaulle. He thinks he just had an argument with Kissinger yesterday FFS.
“Then I told that SOB Hirohito, you withdraw your forces from Manchuria or I’ll deal with you like I did Corn Pop.”

➖ “We thank God that we are still alive. Hooray!” say the released soldiers.
▪️Our guys are currently in Belarus. They will be home very soon. The work to return the prisoners continues.

❗️A captured soldier from the Armed Forces of Ukraine has revealed how Ukrainians are illegally crossing the border with Romania to escape
The Ambassador-at-Large of the Russian Foreign Ministry Rodion Miroshnik conducted a series of conversations of captured soldiers of the AFU.
Many people and guides were caught. There we have on the territory of villages the Solotvino urban-type settlement, local residents there know how to cross the border, where the water is shallow. And they transferred people for money. In 2023 it was 5 thousand dollars, and now it's about 8-10 thousand,
Israeli Newspaper Haaretz Reveals Details of Repelling Iranian Attacks and Their Consequences:
* Colossal Missile Defence Costs
* Israel and the U.S. launched ~200 interceptors (Arrow/THAAD) costing 5 billion shekels (≈$1.35 billion) in a single night.
* The U.S. expended 8 times more THAAD missiles in 12 days of fighting with Iran than it produced in the entire year 2025 (12 units).
* Gaps in Defence
* Dozens of missile defence system failures, including undisclosed damage to facilities.
* Iran used cluster warheads, causing destruction within a 600-meter radius (shattered glass, collapsed walls).
* Secret Damages
* American experts confirmed hits on restricted facilities.
* Total damage is estimated at 10 billion shekels (≈$2.7 billion).
* U.S. Logistics Crisis
* Emergency THAAD deliveries to Israel before the attack.
* Plan for 2026: 32 missiles ($13 million/unit) – stock replenishment will take years.
It's worth noting that THAAD was not supplied to Ukraine. The expenditure of Patriot air defence system missiles during the 12 days of war is currently unknown.

Kiev has been on fire and smoke for hours: helicopters are trying to put out the fires, streets are blocked, there are crushes in the metro
▪️The right bank is covered in smoke after the night shelling. What exactly caused such smoke is not reported.
▪️A large-scale fire after the shelling is being extinguished with the help of a helicopter.
▪️There is a crush in the capital's metro after an air raid alarm. There are also traffic jams on a number of highways due to blocked streets after landings.
▪️After a massive attack in Kiev, there is a high level of air pollution, the Ministry of Environmental Protection reports.
▪️Until the situation stabilizes, residents of the capital are advised not to be outdoors, not to ventilate the premises, because there is a high concentration of harmful substances in the air. The air situation is especially difficult on the right bank.

‘If you look back and see, every time Trump said, “Stop, Vladimir,” or called… Putin was striking [at Ukraine]. I understand why the administration wants to maintain dialogue. But Putin, every time, strikes back. I was in the shoes of the Ukrainians and said to Trump, “Stop calling Putin, because then we’re getting missiles,”’

As always, take this with salt.
To the best of my understanding, Pokrovsk has no viable defensive lines in effect.
The Ukrainians threw some rudimentary lines to the east of the city which lead to Ukrainian politicans shrieking on social media that, “The trenches are empty!!”
No shit, lady - they’re empty because you dug lines in the middle of nowhere where you’re cut off from logistics resupply and visible to drones so Russian artilllery can come down on you.
No infantryman is sleeping around in your death-traps.
Anyways - pseudolines to the East mean Russian troops will just maneuver South and over to the West of the city.
Which they are already doing.
