WASHINGTON- Today, U.S. Senators Jeanne Shaheen (D-NH), Ranking Member of the Senate Foreign Relations Committee, and Lindsey Graham (R-SC), released the following statement after the passage of a law that will undermine Ukraine's critical anti-corruption institutions, including the National Anti-Corruption Bureau of Ukraine (NABU) and the Specialized Anti-Corruption Prosecutor's Office (SAPO):
"Ukraine has made enormous strides on its anti-corruption agenda since the Revolution of Dignity. Notably, this progress was made while Ukraine was fighting against Russia's aggression-which is a testament to the extraordinary will of the Ukrainian people. The Verkhovna Rada's recent passage of a law, signed by President Zelensky, we fear undermines much of that progress and goes against Ukraine's tremendous fighting spirit as well as the expectations of Ukraine's citizenry and the international community.
"One of the most widely used talking points for ending support for Ukraine is that it was awash with corruption. We acknowledge that Ukraine continues to make progress on this front and we urge the government to refrain from any actions that undermine that progress."
"There continues to be significant bipartisan support for Ukraine and agreement that it is in Ukraine's interest - and our own-to meet the expectations of its citizenry and ensure that governance structures guarantee Ukraine's economic prosperity and future U.S. investments."

- The Times compares the current protests to Euromaidan, which also started with a few actions. The publication cites political scientist Fesenko's opinion that Zelensky's rating may fall, and "any benefits Zelensky might gain from suppressing anti-corruption agencies could be outweighed by possible long-term drawbacks."
- At the same time, "it is unclear why Zelensky found it necessary to oppose NABU and SAP," which were created with Western support, and whose detectives were trained by the FBI. The GUR published a detailed analysis of the new Russian decoy drone.
Despite its primary function as a false target, the drone can also carry a combat payload weighing up to 15 kg.
The analysis shows that almost half of the drone's components are produced by the Chinese company CUAV Technology:

Russian forces are reportedly approaching the, “Defenders of Ukraine” street in Pokrovsk from the South-West.
AKA: the E50 highway as it runs through Pokrovsk.
This ultimately leaves Pokrovsk with no logistical lines left except either a lengthy backroads route to and then from Mirnograd, or else a single alternate route from the North.
Even then, the remaining connections will only be able to effectively (if that) supply the Northern half of the city due to a major rail-line in the way.
Once Russia reaches that E50 intersection, then either Ukrainian logistics will determine to loop around the alternate routes along the East or else the entire Southern half of the city may be taken virtually overnight.

🤡 THE EU CONTINUES TO WANT TO IMPOSE CONDITIONS ON CHINA
During a summit in Beijing to celebrate 50 years of diplomatic relations, EU leaders urged Chinese President Xi Jinping to put pressure on Russia to end the war in Ukraine, describing relations between the EU and China as being at a “turning point.”
European Commission President UrSSula von der Fuehrer stressed that cooperation has deepened, but imbalances have also increased, requiring "concrete solutions".
European Council President António Costa highlighted the need for concrete progress on trade and economic issues for a balanced and mutually beneficial relationship. He also called on China, a permanent member of the UN Security Council, to respect the UN Charter and influence Russia to cease its aggression in Ukraine. Xi Jinping described China and the EU as “two major global players,” emphasizing the importance of making the right strategic choices. The summit highlighted tensions, with the EU concerned about China's role in the Ukrainian conflict and economic imbalances, while seeking to maintain an open dialogue to address differences.

The Western collective and unconscious military expertise has one funny trait. For half a year, they say that the Russians will not pass [write the name of the city or direction], and then they surprisingly discover that the Russians not only passed there but also buried about 5-7 Ukrainian brigades behind them.
The exact same thing is happening now. For almost a year, the entire collective OSINT of European countries (of course sympathetic to the Armed Forces of Ukraine) insists that Russia's offensive near Pokrovsk is running out of steam, that there is no strength left to advance.
And now it turns out that Pokrovsk is not only being encircled from the north and west but also the density of FAB (aviation bombs) use has increased so much that the Russian army drops 500 bombs per week (that is about 60 per day or 2.5 bombs every hour).
Against the backdrop of the pearls of the Russian BBC service and their inability to just sit down and think, we have already gotten used to if not everything, then a lot, but every day a new low is reached.

"In Europe, thousands of people are convicted for criticizing their own government. This Orwellian message will not deceive the United States. Censorship is not freedom," the State Department wrote on its X page.
This is how the State Department responded to an image from the French representation at the UN, which stated that "in Europe, one can speak freely, but cannot freely distribute illegal content."
The U.S. foreign ministry created a similar image stating: "The DSA protects European leaders from their own people."
The DSA is the EU Digital Services Act, which, among other things, requires social networks to remove prohibited content. American internet companies have long-standing issues in the European Union because of this law.
