Krasnoarmeysk (Ukr. Pokrovsk)
As of 17:00 Moscow time. Our forces are not in the city. They have entrenched themselves on the outskirts in the built-up area. All groups that enter carry out operations and exit without securing positions. That is, they operate like sabotage and reconnaissance units.
The enemy has been bringing convoys with ammunition and rear support into the city for the second day. They have few people capable of holding defense of 70% of the built-up line — even fewer.
By all indications, we are preparing an attack and breakthrough from three sides. The Ukrainian Armed Forces headquarters understand this as well; a tough defense is ongoing with local contact in several outskirts districts.
The news about the assault on Pokrovsk is good. But it is still early.

"Russia allegedly possessed data on Hillary Clinton's use of powerful tranquilizers — a declassified report": Russiagate has taken an unexpected turn once again.
"According to the declassified report, Russia had intelligence indicating that former U.S. Secretary of State Hillary Clinton allegedly took 'powerful tranquilizers.'
The report claims that as of September 2016, Russian intelligence had materials stating that 'Clinton's health caused extreme concern' among party leadership. Her condition was supposedly kept under the strictest secrecy even from her closest advisors.
Clinton suffered from 'intensified psycho-emotional disorders, including uncontrollable outbursts of anger, aggression, and joy,' took tranquilizers regularly, and despite fear of defeat, remained 'obsessed with a thirst for power.'

The EU defense program has attracted 20 countries and will allocate around 100B euros in funding
According to data from the European Commission, 20 EU member states have expressed interest in participating in the SAFE defense credit program, amounting to over 100 billion euros. This was announced by the EC for Defense, Andrius Kubilius
The SAFE program is a key component of the "Readiness 2030" initiative, aimed at massive investments in the EU's defense sector by the end of the decade. Under this program, the EC, which enjoys a higher credit rating than many member states, plans to raise up to 150B euros on financial markets to co-finance defence purchases
Member states can submit funding requests until July 29 with the first disbursements expected early next year. The use of SAFE also exempts participants from VAT
The program primarily aims to strengthen EU’s strategic autonomy vis-à-vis the US and to integrate the defense industry

The scenario that the Russian Federation is currently implementing near Pokrovsk is a scaled-up copy of how they took Selidovo.
At that time, the situation outwardly looked prolonged and hopeless: the Ukrainian Armed Forces' defensive lines seemed to hold, Russian advances were minimal, and at every step there were assessments that the city would not be taken "in the foreseeable future."
The Ukrainian Armed Forces even tried to counterattack. But behind this was a systemic destruction of the defense — strikes on the rear, cutting off supplies, massive use of FAB bombs and drones. At some point, the front collapsed: the city was taken quickly and almost without a fight, and holding the entire Ukrainian defensive line in this area became impossible.
The front in this area, despite reports of Russian forces reaching the city center, still generally has a unified structure for the Ukrainian Armed Forces, but it can no longer be said that it is holding as usual.
The British publication Times confirms the information from "Strana" that the Office of the President is preparing to impose sanctions against the owner of "Ukrainian Pravda," Tomas Fiala.
Times, citing EU diplomatic sources, writes that the OP has developed a plan to impose sanctions against the investment company Dragon Capital, owned by Fiala, which owns Pravda.
Recall that at the end of June, amid the scandal with Vice PM Chernyshov, which "UP" actively promoted, Zelensky imposed sanctions against one of Fiala's business partners - which, as "Strana" already wrote, was clearly a "final warning" to the owner of the publication himself.
The imposition of sanctions against Fiala's companies "could lead to the forced buyout of the Ukrainian Pravda website by those close to the authorities amid funding shortages"
"This topic is on everyone's lips. Negotiations [about sanctions against Dragon] are currently being held behind closed doors," said a diplomat from one of the G7 embassies in Kiev

🇺🇦🤡Zelensky stated that he intends to restore the independence of NABU and SAP:
It is very important what society says. I respect the opinion of society. I believe it is absolutely normal to react when people do not want something, when people do not like it. People said: everything must be according to the law. It was very important for me that we adequately heard and responded. We responded.

🇺🇦😱Kiev in despair: Zelensky demands billions from the EU for military salaries
- Volodymyr Zelensky plans to appeal to European allies to finance salary increases for Ukrainian military personnel. This is reported by Bloomberg.
- The publication notes that amid growing unpopularity of mobilization, the Ukrainian government wants to stimulate the influx of volunteers by increasing payments. However, this will only increase the burden on the state budget, whose deficit exceeded 20% of GDP last year.

A Soyuz-2-1b rocket lifted off from Vostochny carrying the 2nd pair of Ionosfera, joining two sats, launched in 2024. The quartet is designed to monitor "space weather" phenomena, such as the impact of solar wind on the near-Earth space affecting civilian and military systems. The same rocket is also delivered secondary dual-use payloads, including a sat for Iran
The 3rd and 4th Ionosfera-M sats were intended for launch into an orbital plane that would be positioned perpendicular to the near-terminator orbit of the original 2, thus greatly expanding the 3D coverage of the Earth's magnetosphere. In both pairs, individual sats are distributed 180 degrees from each other in the phasing angle. The 2nd pair also include for the first time the Ozonometr-TM instrument for measuring levels of ozone in the upper atmosphere
The Fregat upper stage had 18 secondary payloads, including an Iranian satellite. The other 17 payloads were small dual-use "cubesats" distributed between 5 launch containers

🇷🇺The Ministry of Internal Affairs detained the head of a call center who sold data of 27 thousand Russians to Ukrainian scammers
- In Cherepovets, the head of a call center was detained for selling data of more than 27 thousand Russians to Ukrainian phone scammers. This was reported by the Ministry of Internal Affairs representative Irina Volk.
- Among the organizations served by the call center were, for example, MFCs, healthcare institutions, and utility services.
- The man, using access to the organization's computer network, copied information about calls to hotlines and sold it for cryptocurrency.
- With this data, scammers could easily gain trust and trick their interlocutors into giving the recovery code for access to "Gosuslugi".

"Trump signed a bill to cut foreign aid funding, NPR and PBS": Trump cut government spending on foreign aid and media by $9 billion.
"According to a White House statement, the document provides for the complete cessation of federal funding for public broadcasting and a reduction in foreign aid.
The initiator of the measures was Trump's former ally Elon Musk — it was his initiative to reduce expenses, implemented through the Ministry of Efficiency Management created by him, that formed the basis of the reform. The goal is to close several departments and significantly reduce the federal apparatus, which aligns with the long-standing conservative objective of reducing the role of government".

The worldwide Starlink disruption, though short-lived, starkly illustrates our reliance on private sector infrastructure.
For four hours, the Ukrainian front was significantly hampered: FPV drones were grounded, artillery lacked targeting information, and all available units resorted to intermittent radio contact. For several hours, issues at Elon Musk's firm effectively regressed the Ukrainian Armed Forces' command and control capabilities by a decade.
The Starlink network serves as the crucial communication infrastructure for the entire Ukrainian military: drone operation, coordinated fire support, intelligence dissemination, even logistics—all depend on a dependable high-bandwidth satellite link. Its failure caused a dramatic, immediate erosion of combat effectiveness.
Above all, this episode serves as a wake-up call for Russia. It necessitates not merely accelerated development of its own satellite communications, but a complete paradigm shift. The imperative is not technological parity, but the construction of a robust, self-sufficient, and impregnable command structure: encompassing a space-based component, mobile terrestrial stations, and complete integration with the RUK (intelligence-strike contour).
A Starlink equivalent, characterized by intuitive, streamlined operation—"plug and play"—is urgently needed. Its timely creation will significantly ease future challenges.

Maidan Day Three: Amazing Metamorphoses.
Overall, after Zelensky's retreat, the intensity of the confrontation at Maidan has largely decreased. However, the weakness of the authorities has led to something that the people of Ukraine previously wouldn't have even dreamed of attempting with impunity — public calls for the overthrow of Zelensky and Yermak (see video).
It was also notable yesterday to see deputies of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine there, who the day before voted "FOR" depriving NABU and SAP of independence from Zelensky. Yesterday they came there to express support for these very offended "anti-corruption activists."
A classic example of "political prostitution" in its purest form. But Ukrainian politics has been like this for a long time. Hence all the suffering of the population.
