We can make an agreement to work on a peace treaty while they continue to fight. They have to fight. I would like them to stop. I would like them to cease. But strategically, it might not be beneficial for one side or the other. However, I made all these deals without even mentioning the words ‘ceasefire’.

European diplomats are discussing a possible venue for trilateral talks between the USA, Russia, and Ukraine, — Sky News

▪️The USA and EU allies agreed that the talks should be held in Europe. Yesterday, during a video conference of the "coalition of the willing," Meloni proposed holding the meeting in Rome, while Macron suggested Geneva.
▪️Sources note that Trump and Zelensky lean towards Rome, especially the Vatican, whereas Vladimir Putin would prefer Geneva. Meanwhile, European diplomats continue to consider other options — including Budapest and Helsinki.
