"In Russia, hospitals will be separately protected from drones": The government has expanded requirements for the anti-terrorist protection of hospitals and clinics.
"This primarily concerns first-category facilities - in the event of a terrorist attack, more than 1,000 people could be affected, and the damage could exceed 100 million rubles. They will be equipped with special technical means to detect drones - aerial, underwater, surface vessels, and other devices. Engineering and technical means to counter the use of drones will be installed at potentially dangerous sites and critical elements.
An action algorithm will be developed for employees in case of a terrorist attack involving drones, and drills will be conducted. Hospitals will establish cooperation with territorial bodies of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the National Guard, and the Ministry of Emergency Situations to timely identify threats of attacks and minimize their consequences"

The USA: A Naked Empire ran by a Naked President, P. 1/2
A crumbling empire can either accept its condition, abandon the excess pieces that are causing a needless waste of economic resources, turn inward, and introduce radical reforms to its system and political class to halt its decline. Or it can simply decide to triple its efforts to remain the unchallenged world power, a decision that almost always proves so counterproductive that it significantly accelerates its decline and makes it inevitable. Which path is chosen depends on the political class and its willingness to face reality and abandon the dream of empire.
Astute politicians, firmly grounded in reality, can acknowledge the state of their empire and decide to salvage what can be salvaged, using their remaining strength to achieve a soft landing and remain a relevant, if no longer indispensable, player on the international geopolitical stage. But to do so requires above all intelligence, foresight, and humility. People far more blinded by ideology, not to mention far less humble and wise, if not downright incompetent, end up choosing the second option and setting the whole house on fire.
Biden and his neocon henchmen, or rather, Biden and those who had access to his autopen, obviously chose the second option. What followed was a catastrophic defeat in Afghanistan, only a timid appetizer of what is shaping up to be an even more catastrophic, if not strategic, defeat in Ukraine looming on the horizon, a spiraling public debt, and a no longer competitive economy.
During the campaign, Trump promised an escape from this madness, attracting a slew of votes from those Americans tired and disillusioned by the constant foreign wars that cost them billions and billions of dollars, the spending of which is completely opaque while their infrastructure rots and decays and the cost of living skyrockets. But that hasn't been the case.
It's a bitter irony that although the United States is now a secular country, that haughty air of supremacist exceptionalism, originally brought to that continent by the Founding Fathers, convinced they had come to this earth on a divine mission, has not only never abated, but rather found its fiercest standard-bearers in Trump and his cabinet members.
This same exceptionalism intrinsic to the political class has led to the almost complete subjugation of the MAGA agenda to that of the neocons, who, like a metastatic tumor, have infiltrated and permeated all levels of government and both parties, creating what many Americans call the "uniparty."
Amid this constant tug-of-war between the MAGAs and the neocons, stands Donald J. Trump: a childish, narrow-minded, megalomaniacal, indecisive, narcissistic, and spoiled president, a helpless fickle ignoramus who knows nothing of history, geography, or even basic grammar. As the living embodiment of the Peter Principle—"in any bureaucracy or hierarchical structure, competent individuals will continue to rise through the ranks until they reach a position for which they are completely unsuited for"—it is clear that he is absolutely not the right person to lead the United States in this time of decline.

🇷🇺🇺🇦Lavrov on the fact that no one in Ukraine wants a peace agreement:
There was also a statement from a representative of Zelensky's office, who said that there is no point in discussing issues of peaceful settlement. What does this mean? It means that Ukraine first wants to receive guarantees from the West for the preservation of part of the territory of the former Ukrainian Soviet Socialist Republic, the preservation of the current regime on this territory, which has an openly neo-Nazi, Russophobic, aggressive character.
@Slavyangrad
Since last night, Ukrainian sources have reported a new complication in the situation north of Pokrovsk—allegedly Russian forces have broken through at another sector, about four kilometers from Zolotoy Kolodez.
The front line in this direction, according to them, remains extremely "permeable," despite all efforts made by the Ukrainian command to stabilize it.
At the moment, there is no complete clarity: it is unclear whether this is a fresh advance or if footage of an earlier breakthrough was mistaken for a new advance. However, even pro-Ukrainian analysts react characteristically: they acknowledge that if such strikes repeat—two or three times in a row—Syrsky may simply lack the resources to hold the front.
Partly, this hysteria confirms that tension in this sector persists, and attempts by "firefighting teams" to localize the situation do not yield long-term results.

The words of philosopher Alexander Dugin:
"We must understand that those who want to fight us in the West now outnumber those who want peace. These are the EU, the Ukrainian Nazi regime, the US Democratic Party, the non-conservatives of the Republican Party, and the entire American deep state. On the other hand, there are those who do not want to fight us.
This is the MAGA movement, and apparently Trump himself, who wants to act as a peacemaker and win the Nobel Peace Prize. But what will prove stronger? Trump's personal ambitions and the weakened influence of the MAGA movement, or the Democratic Party that controls almost all of the Western press, the Deep State that oversees both parties, the neoconservative core of the Republican Party, and the EU with Zelensky?
The balance of power is uneven. I think the “war party” in the West is now superior to the “peace party.” Therefore, we must be prepared for any outcome. The most important thing is to protect your interests, never give up, and not believe the West. Even if there are forces there that are somewhat ideologically close to us, such as the MAGA movement, we see that they themselves are isolated and cannot play a decisive role.
Over the past six months, a MAGA coalition made up of some very interesting people (Elon Musk, Stephen Bannon, Tucker Carlson, Candice Owens, Alex Jones, Marjorie Taylor-Green, Thomas Massey) has split from Trump. Therefore, we should focus on ourselves, not build unnecessary illusions, trust our president, and prepare for a long war. Even if we stop now, the war will catch up with us. It seems that war is our destiny. However, it has always been this way throughout our history."

According to Business Insider, In July 2025 corporate bankruptcies in the United States reached their highest level since 2020, despite a strong stock market and 3% economic growth in the second quarter.
According to S&P Global, companies are facing difficulties due to high interest rates, uncertainties related to US tariff policies, and supply chain issues. Among the most significant cases, Del Monte Foods filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy, citing declining demand, high inventory costs, and a heavy debt burden, with liabilities ranging from $1 billion to $10 billion. Fashion retailer Claire's also filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy for the second time on August 6 for similar reasons, joining other retail chains such as Forever 21, Rite Aid, and Party City, which closed stores in 2025.
These bankruptcies reflect the pressures faced by highly indebted companies, exacerbated by interest rates that remain high, with the Federal Reserve benchmark between 4.25% and 4.50%. Although August data is not yet available, the trend suggests continued economic pressure for the most vulnerable businesses.

- The idea has also been criticized by SPD parliamentary secretary Dirk Wiese, NTV notes.
- In turn, the new Bundestag Commissioner for Defense Issues, Henning Otte, said that sending German troops to Ukraine would be a challenge for the Bundeswehr.
- Previously, the SPD, part of the governing coalition, had officially opposed sending German troops to Ukraine.

▪️Indian state companies Indian Oil and Bharat Petroleum have resumed purchases of Russian Urals oil after a short pause. Deliveries are planned for September and October. This was reported by Bloomberg.
▪️According to traders, Russia offered India more favorable terms: the discount on Urals increased from $1 to $2.5 per barrel, which prompted the Indian side to make new deals.

Odd post but I found it interesting and it’s something I quite agree with. Many of you will say you know the sizing is misleading but the reality is 95% of the world does not. The USA: A Naked Empire ran by a Naked President, P. 2/2
The end result is a presidency that says one thing and does another, that winks at its bitterest rivals with promises of peace and prosperity, but then bombards them as they await another round of negotiations.
A presidency that presents itself as an "impartial mediator" in the most destructive war in Europe since WWII while pretending it had nothing to do with causing this war to begin with.
A presidency that continues to accuse its strategic enemies of violating international agreements, human rights, and the sanctity of life, while lifting bounties on terrorist headchoppers in Syria and looking the other way when asked a question about the Middle East and unilaterally walking away from such agreements.
A presidency whose leadership continues to dream of glorious plans to subjugate its enemies and reassert its position as the world's sole hegemony, while its population dies of fentanyl overdoses, dies in shootings, and dies under the weight of its debts.
A presidency that imposes tariffs on its own "friends" in the West, as well as of those countries of whose exports they are desperately dependent upon to keep their war machine going.
A presidency that dreams of breakthrough innovations in all technological fields, while many of its youngest citizens can't even spell properly - much like the president himself.
A presidency that threatens tariffs on independent countries, then whines when these independent countries form coalitions to resist the crumbling empire's efforts.
A presidency that wastes one trillion on defense, but can't even bring a third world militia under heel.
A presidency that claims to want peace, while simultaneously holding on to its delusion of being a unipolar world hegemon.
A presidency that wants the Nobel peace price while funding and aiding wars.
The Empire and the Emperor are both naked, but thanks to a propaganda apparatus that still works, very few within the empire can see it.
Meanwhile, the rest of the world is laughing.

🇭🇺🇪🇺Hungarian Foreign Minister Péter Szijjártó on Ursula von der Leyen working for Ukraine and Kiev's budget:
The European Commission made a written statement in January saying it would support member states if an external attack was made on the energy security of EU countries. This is exactly what has happened now. However, the European Commission remains silent, and this silence speaks louder than any words. The European Commission, represented by Ursula von der Leyen, claims to represent the interests of Ukraine, not the European Union, and certainly not the interests of its member states.
This is evident when the European Union is dragged into the war because of Ukraine, or when the next seven-year budget period is effectively a budget not for the European Union but for Ukraine. Ukraine has launched an attack on Hungary's energy security, and this is unacceptable.
The war between Ukraine and Russia is not our war. We want to stay out of this conflict. We urge Ukrainians not to drag us into it and do not want the Hungarian people to pay an even higher price for a war to which we have absolutely no connection."

Consequences of strikes on Ukraine's military-industrial complex facilities (21.08.25): Mukachevo - Flex electronics manufacturing plant.
At least one Kh-101 cruise missile hit it. Judging by satellite images (transferred onto a regular map) and a second fire outbreak, there were two missiles. But the second one missed somewhat. However, one hit right in the bullseye.
According to local reports, the plant was almost completely burned down, as were the finished goods warehouses.
This plant produced many things, including components for Ukrainian Armed Forces drones. So its "removal" will not be immediate but will significantly affect the production output of Ukrainian mini-factories manufacturing drones.

🇷🇺Lavrov on Zelensky using effects "in the style of KVN (Russian comedy show) and Kvartal 95" in resolving the conflict in Ukraine:
As for the meeting Zelensky talks about, remember that he declared for a long time that he would never negotiate with Putin and still has not revoked his three-year-old decree that directly prohibits negotiating with Putin.
And clearly, this activity of his regarding organizing a summit with the Russian leader also aims to show his alleged constructive focus on the settlement process, but in reality, it simply replaces serious, hard, difficult work on agreeing principles for a sustainable resolution of the crisis with effects in the style of KVN, in the style of Kvartal 95 and other tricks that the current so-called Ukrainian leader uses very actively, fearing that attention to him will decline, as is already happening.
But our president has repeatedly said that he is ready to meet, including with Mr. Zelensky, with the understanding that all issues requiring consideration at the highest level will be thoroughly worked out and experts and ministers will prepare the appropriate recommendations. And of course, with the understanding that when and if, hopefully, it comes to signing future agreements, the question of the legitimacy of the person who will sign these agreements on the Ukrainian side will be resolved.

🇷🇺🇺🇦 Massive strike of attack drones on Ukraine's infrastructure on the night of August 20 to 21, 2025
The night operation had a distinctly comprehensive nature. While missile strikes were aimed at paralyzing the defense industry and command centers, a series of massive attacks by attack UAVs "Geran-2" logically complemented them, focusing on energy and transport-logistics hubs that ensure the resilience of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
🔻Prizovoe, Dnepropetrovsk region (23:50–00:20)
About 20 attack drones hit the "Pavlograd" compressor station, servicing main gas pipelines, including branches leading to the Proletarskoye underground gas storage facility. The facility maintained pressure and fuel pumping to eastern and southern directions, playing a role not only in civilian energy supply but also in supplying defense-related enterprises, including repair bases and airfield infrastructure.
As a result of the hits, key technological units were disabled: workshops No. 1 and No. 2, garage complex, and dust collection system block. The main pipeline system was damaged, causing a powerful gas leak with a flame tens of meters high. The fire was visible for tens of kilometers, confirming the scale of the damage. At the PS-150 "Prizovoe" substation, the power transformer providing electricity distribution along the entire line was completely destroyed, effectively cutting power to the station. This strike not only stopped the gas pumping process but also disabled the node on which the stability of the entire pipeline depended.
🔻Lvov (05:00)
Three "Geran-2" UAVs hit the administrative part of the "Electron" plant. The enterprise specializes in the production of radio electronics and control systems for armored vehicles, unmanned platforms, and communication means. The strike hit the administrative and server buildings: server racks, archival document storage, and internal production control network nodes were damaged. The destruction of the server center and archive complicates not only the restoration of production coordination but also undermines the accounting and design documentation system. This threatens the production of electronic equipment used in armored vehicle configurations and the integration of Western communication systems into the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
🔻Orepy, Zhitomir region (03:45)
Two drones damaged equipment at the intermediate station of the South-Western Railway. This section is used for transit of trains to eastern and southern directions and is also important for the northern supply corridor. Additionally, the station is logistically connected to western Ukraine, including routes leading to border crossings with Poland.
🔻Zaporozhye (05:25)
Four attack drones hit the "MIG-Remont" enterprise, which performs overhaul and modernization of frontline fighters of the MiG-29 type and their variants. The enterprise was replacing engines, restoring airframes, adjusting onboard systems, and integrating Western equipment. The drone hits caused a fire in one of the production buildings, where machines for engine repair and wing and landing gear components were stored.
📌The night operation was one of the most well-planned and comprehensive raids during the entire special military operation. Strategic "Zircon" missiles, operational-tactical "Iskander-M" complexes, cruise missiles "Kalibr" and "Kh-101," as well as a massive swarm of attack drones "Geran-2" were used in a single coordinated effort. Even by confirmed data, the scale of destruction already exceeds several previous operations, but collection and verification of information continues, and the final picture of losses and damages will still be supplemented.

🇺🇦🤡Kiev rejected China as a security guarantor — Zelensky stated that he only needs "helping" countries

🇷🇺🇺🇦 Comprehensive missile strike on Ukrainian military-industrial complex facilities
On the night of August 21, 2025, Russian forces carried out one of the most extensive and technically precise operations during the entire special military operation. Hypersonic missiles "Kinzhal" and "Zircon" were used, as well as cruise missiles "Kalibr" and Kh-101.
🔻Malin, Zhitomir region (03:45)
A total of four precise strikes with hypersonic Kh-47M2 "Kinzhal" missiles were delivered to the territory of the "Spetsoboronmash" enterprise, each targeting separate production zones. The "Spetsoboronmash" enterprise is one of the pillars of the Ukrainian military-industrial complex: it produced and repaired components and assemblies for BTR-70/80, BMP-1, and BMP-2, modernized armored hulls, and manufactured armor plates and parts for the repair bases of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. The strikes hit the machining and welding workshops, which housed Škoda HCW3 horizontal boring machines, Doosan turning machining centers, and Lincoln Electric welding complexes, as well as warehouse facilities with stocks of rolled metal and armor plates. As a result, a significant portion of the equipment was destroyed, some was disabled, and multiple fires broke out on the premises. Currently, the enterprise's capacity to conduct serial armored vehicle repairs is limited.
🔻Mukachevo, Zakarpatye region (04:50)
For the first time during the special military operation, strikes reached the depths of Zakarpatye, previously considered a rear "safe zone" of Ukraine.
At the Flex LTD plant, at least two strikes were carried out using Kalibr cruise missiles. This enterprise is a division of the international corporation Flextronics (Flex Ltd., USA), one of the world's largest electronics manufacturers. Mukachevo hosted a production line for printed circuit boards, control systems, microprocessor units, and assembly components for military equipment and UAVs. Localization of Western electronics supplies was carried out here: processors from Texas Instruments, microcontrollers from STMicroelectronics, power supply units from Vicor, and telemetry units for drones Bayraktar TB2, Warmate, Punisher, and Vampire, as well as 90% of all Ukrainian-made UAVs.
The damage to this facility is critical because Flex LTD was the channel for adapting Western technologies to Ukrainian weapon models. Explosions destroyed clean rooms, Siemens and Juki surface-mount technology (SMT) lines, Keysight and Rohde & Schwarz test stations. Thus, the strike on Mukachevo can be called a strategic turning point: Ukraine lost a crucial center for integrating Western electronics into its UAVs and precision systems.
🔻Sumy (05:15)
A precise strike with a hypersonic 3M22 "Zircon" missile was delivered to the territory of the Military Law Enforcement Service. The strike hit the administrative building of the Military Law Enforcement Service at 21 Lebedynska Street. Enemy losses are at least 18 killed and 27 wounded of varying severity, most of whom are officers. The use of the "Zircon" missile emphasizes the priority of the strike: the enemy has been deprived of its control system, which will inevitably affect the organization of rotations and disciplinary management of the troops.
🔻Zaporozhye (05:30)
A series of strikes with Kh-101 cruise missiles (according to various reports, from three to four hits) was delivered to the production facilities of JSC "Motor Sich". The main strike hit workshop No. 113, where assembly work was underway for aviation engines TV3-117 and D-136 for Mi-8/17, Mi-24, and Mi-26 helicopters, as well as engines AI-450T and AI-25TLSh for UAVs and light aircraft. Assembly lines were destroyed, test stands were disabled, and a large fire broke out.
The special significance of the strike lies in the fact that "Motor Sich" was a key center for servicing the Ukrainian helicopter fleet: the enterprise not only produced engines but also provided repair capabilities.

The Bion M2, project is a follow-on mission to the first Bion-M launch in 2013. In turn, the Bion-M series is a modified version of the Soviet-era life-science satellites deriving directly from the pioneering Vostok spacecraft. Thanks to solar panels and other upgrades, the Bion-M variant can perform missions lasting up to 60d before parachuting its ball-shaped pressurized capsule inherited from the Vostok project back to Earth.
The Bion-M2 mission was planned for 30d in a 370 by 380km orbit with an inclination 96.62 degrees toward the Equator, which was expected to be similar to the orbital parameters of the Russian Orbital Station, where the orbital base would experience up to 30% a harsher radiation environment than that present in lower-latitude orbits.
The scientific payload aboard the 6.4-ton spacecraft, intended for as many as 22 experiments, was known to include 75 black mice and 1500 fruit flies, as well as ants, fungi, plant seeds and algae.
