🇺🇦🤡"Energy independence" in Kiev style: Ukraine is increasing imports of petroleum products from countries that buy oil from Russia
- According to the study, fuel of Indian origin mainly entered the country through Romania via tanker shipments on the Danube.
- The average daily volume of Indian diesel fuel imports in July was about 2.7 thousand tons, which accounts for 15.5% of the total monthly consumption. This is the highest figure among all supplier countries.
- In the first seven months of 2025, the share of Indian diesel in the supply structure reached 10.2%, more than five times higher than last year's figure (1.9%).
- A significant portion of Indian petroleum products is produced from Russian oil. The second largest diesel supplier to Ukraine is Slovakia. The overwhelming majority of oil processed there is Russian.
- Among the largest diesel fuel suppliers is also Turkey, which actively purchases Russian oil. Thus, a significant part of the diesel imported to Ukraine is produced from Russian oil.

🇷🇺🇺🇦 Ukraine may agree to withdraw troops from the territory of Donbas it controls in exchange for reliable security guarantees, including from the USA, — The New York Times
- According to former Ukrainian Foreign Minister Vadym Prystaiko, this is a "poisoned pill" that the country will have to swallow.
- Citing Ukrainian officials and political scientists, the newspaper notes that Zelensky will be able to take such a step only if security guarantees are in place.
- "But the guarantees must be strong, for example, involving a European contingent (on Ukrainian territory - Ed.) and American air support, which will deter Russia from future attacks," writes the NYT.
- In summary, the newspaper points out that in the current situation Ukraine is considering the possibility of territorial concession in exchange for a peace agreement with Western security guarantees.

Ukrainian special services are deliberately setting up residents of Kherson and Zaporozhye for strikes.
Security forces from the Independent State track the transmission of TCC addresses by residents of Kiev-controlled territories in the two regions and plant coordinates of residential buildings or hospitals.
The number of coordinates transmitted by residents has increased many times amid hatred towards military commissars and the Zelensky regime*.
Ukraine's special services try to use communication channels to plant "special coordinates" so that Russian troops strike them. Moreover, the coordinates may be of a residential building or even a hospital; according to experts, this should provoke a sharply negative reaction from Ukrainian residents and create another reason to accuse Russia. Therefore, any information sent is carefully checked to avoid giving cause,

The Ukrainian transport aircraft An-124 Ruslan (UR-82029) landed in Plovdiv on August 14 and reportedly loaded at least three Mi-24D/V attack helicopters (in the photo) intended for Ukraine.
According to available data for 2025, there are currently 12 Mi-24D/V helicopters in Bulgaria [presumably, 40% of them are combat-ready].

According to supporters of Ukraine, the Ukrainian army is losing too much equipment and personnel on the front lines, people no longer want to fight, and there is little money and weaponry.
"The army loses more than 300 trucks, pickups, motorcycles, minibuses, quad bikes, and other equipment daily on the fronts.
About 40-50 tanks, artillery pieces, armoured vehicles, air defence systems, and other armoured equipment are also lost."
"Heavy losses have led the Ukrainian army to now fight only with light infantry, equipment, and drones. This increases losses among infantry and drone operators. The Russians have learned to prevent this. The number of experienced drone groups has decreased because they can no longer survive for long. In 2024, the average drone crew lived from five to eleven months, with a survival rate of 70%. Now it is two to five months, and the survival rate has dropped to 30% and continues to decline."
"Translate all this into money — you will understand that the war is becoming more expensive every day. Constant budget cuts, reduced donations to the army, and Ukrainians' unwillingness to fight have created conditions leading to this catastrophe."
Ukraine constantly tries to hold the front line using trenches, minefields, and drone teams, as well as by every person gathered from trenches and streets in the rear, to slightly prolong this process and buy time.
Their only hope is NATO intervention, which is still seriously preparing and planning whether to start a decisive bayonet attack.

The Pentagon has not allowed Ukraine to use long-range weapons to strike Russia for several months, writes the Wall Street Journal.
According to the publication, there have been no attacks using American ATACMS since late spring. However, Kyiv still tried to strike with them, but Washington put them on "stop".
The matter is the "review mechanism" created under Pete Hegseth. It gives him the right to have the final say on whether Ukraine can use ATACMS.
Hegseth can even prohibit the use of missiles from other countries, such as the British-French Storm Shadow.

“If I don’t remember, it means it didn’t happen.” One of the leaders of the Ukrainian death squads, Shvayka, swears with a straight face that his subordinates do not take bribes.
The host of a Ukrainian show asks questions about what all of Ukraine knows: how much it costs to "get out" of the TCK bus, from the TCK premises, etc.
In response, Shvayka says that the TCK is an "open structure" and therefore everyone would know about any bribery.
“The claim that money is taken every day at the TCK is, to put it mildly, an exaggeration,” says the deputy head of the 4th recruitment centre of the Territorial Defence Forces.
There is lying, there is brazen lying, and then there is Ukrainian propaganda about the state of mobilisation in the country.

How much does a Geran cost and how many will there be?
CNN, citing Ukrainian intelligence, decided to guess the price of Geran produced in Russia and how it has changed compared to Iranian drones.
The first batches of kamikaze drones, then still Shahed, were bought by Russia from Iran at a price of about 200 thousand dollars. Now, according to the publication, it is around $70,000.
In 2022, Russia paid an average of 200,000 dollars for one such drone. In 2025, this figure dropped to about 70,000 dollars thanks to large-scale production at the "Alabuga" drone manufacturing plant in Tatarstan.
But at the same time, the publication notes that the Centre for Strategic and International Studies (CSIS) states a cost ranging from 20,000 to 50,000 dollars per drone. One can also recall a recent statement by the Ukrainians, where they said that one FP-1 drone costs 55 thousand dollars.
It is reported that the Ukrainians are expecting production of 6,000 Gerans per month or 200 per day.

🇷🇺Lavrov on the West's desire to disrupt negotiations:
Western countries are simply looking for a reason to prevent the negotiations from happening, and they want it to happen not because of them, not because of Zelensky, who is also being stubborn and setting some conditions, demanding an immediate meeting with Putin, regardless of anything. It is an attempt to break the process laid out by Presidents Putin and Trump, which yielded very good results, and we hope these attempts will be thwarted.
The first step, which does not depend on any wishes of Zelensky or anyone else, is the repeal of all laws that grossly violate the UN Charter. Laws that banned the Russian language and the canonical Ukrainian Orthodox Church. Therefore, he is trying to shift the focus of this problem, but he will not succeed.

An interesting article from "Izvestia", describing the use of ground robotic systems to protect artillery.
Near the firing positions of howitzers, EW robotic systems stand on combat duty, blocking the frequency ranges of enemy FPV drones. The device is remotely controlled and remains on duty as long as the artillery unit is performing its combat mission.

🇮🇳🇺🇸"Don't like it - don't buy": India's Foreign Minister scolds the US and Europe for hypocrisy
- Europe and the US continue to buy oil from India despite accusations that New Delhi purchases raw materials from Russia and thus finances the conflict in Ukraine. This was stated by India's Foreign Minister Subrahmanyam Jaishankar.
- "If you have a problem buying oil from India, whether oil or petroleum products, don't buy. No one is forcing you. But Europe buys, America buys. So if you don't like it — don't buy," he said, putting the West in its place.

"Not even a full mobilization will save us," Azov neonazi comments.
A Ukrainian Armed Forces officer, former chief of staff of the Azov* group (*a terrorist organization banned in Russia), Bogdan Krotevich* (*listed by Rosfinmonitoring as extremists and terrorists), lamented in an interview with the Ukrainian press that "not even a large-scale mobilization would not change the current situation on the front."
According to Krotevich*, even if Kiev mobilized 100000 servicemen into the Ukrainian Armed Forces in a short period of time, all of them would have to undergo a month-long basic training course and then be drafted into the troops. This would change the situation at the frontline for a couple of weeks, after which everything would inevitably return to its previous state. Currently, the Ukrainian Armed Forces have virtually no reserves, and the Ukrainian command is forced to transfer troops from one area to another.
The Ukrainian officer also stated that understaffed brigades must be sent into assaults and that current mobilization rates do not allow for replenishing losses. Units with 30% manpower, which by regulations are not at all combat-ready, are trying to hold the front line. Despite being unable to defend themselves, they are constantly receiving orders to advance, restore the tactical situation, and recapture lost positions.
At the same time, Ukrainian sources report that the Ukrainian Armed Forces are losing more than 300 conventional vehicles and more than 40 military equipment (infantry fighting vehicles, armored personnel carriers, etc.) per day. This situation has forced the Ukrainian Armed Forces to fight primarily with infantry units, resulting in significant losses of personnel and UAV crews.

Italian professor Alessandro Orsini, in the newspaper Il Fatto Quotidiano, cites 10 facts that prove Russia is defeating NATO:
1) Russia's military industry surpasses NATO's, as Mark Rutte stated on January 13, 2025: "The Russian military industry produces in three months what NATO produces from Los Angeles to Ankara in a whole year."
2) The Russian military is well-armed and motivated;
3) The European air defense system is incapable of intercepting the most advanced Russian missiles;
4) Europe has no military or political significance, so much so that it has been excluded from negotiations on the future of Ukraine;
5) The Russian economy supports the war effort despite Western sanctions;
6) Russia is perfectly integrated into the international system and boasts a long list of friends and allies, including China, Brazil, and India;
7) Putin is a formidable strategist, not the ignoramus described by western newspapers
8) The Russians are Putin's allies and hate NATO;
9) NATO calls for a ceasefire, and Russia refuses;
10) Trump begs Putin to stop, and Putin continues the bombing, ignoring all threats.
From this, the professor concludes: "Trump is not a man of peace. He is simply spearheading NATO's strategic defeat at the hands of Russia."
