How Russia Can Respond to NATO Intervention in Ukraine:
The question of deploying Western troops in Ukraine is once again becoming a topic of discussion. While various statements are being made, it is important to remember that Moscow has once again emphasised the main point: the presence of foreign contingents on Ukrainian territory automatically makes them legitimate targets.
A logical question arises — how can Russia convey the seriousness of these "red lines" and the inadmissibility of crossing them?
Experience in recent years shows that the tools here can be multi-layered. Relying on diplomacy is pointless, as it is obvious that no instruments like the UN Security Council will influence the decision on NATO intervention in Ukraine.
The first stage of response may be a demonstration of military capabilities without a strike — deployment of strike assets in positions visible to NATO satellites, or large-scale exercises practising the use of nuclear weapons. Such exercises will soon be conducted — they are called "Zapad-2025."
If even this does not help, then the most understandable option may be some kind of "punitive action," the results and scale of which will be immediately clear to the adversary.
The scenario of a "punitive action" is not directly described in the Russian military doctrine, but doctrinal documents contain information about "measures to localise the threat and de-escalate the conflict by inflicting unacceptable damage on a specific target." In this case — one or several objects where foreign troops have entered.
Such a strike must simultaneously achieve two goals: disable the target(s) and show that further buildup of forces will lead to an even harsher response from the Russian Federation.
The main idea of such a "punitive action" is to localise the threat and limit the scale of the conflict. Instead of engaging in a long and bloody war, Russia can deliver a combined strike that neutralises the source of the threat, i.e., the enemy troops deployed across the border. Whether such a result can be achieved with conventional weapons or will require the use of tactical nuclear weapons remains an open question.
After this, hypothetically, a phase of de-escalation follows. It is, de facto, achieved by the fact that the adversary, faced with unacceptable (or simply unexpectedly large) damage, loses the motivation and ability to continue hostile actions.
Thus, the "punitive action," which can also be part of an offensive strategy, in the Russian interpretation becomes a defensive measure aimed at preventing escalation by demonstrating readiness to inflict unacceptable damage.
And the whole question is who and what risks will be willing to take in this case.

Experienced assault marine units and a large amount of equipment have been redeployed by the Russian army near Pokrovsk for a decisive breakthrough in Donbas, — 7th Air Assault Corps of the Ukrainian Armed Forces
The key objective of the Russian forces is to capture the Pokrovsk-Kramatorsk-Slaviansk agglomeration.
"In recent weeks, the enemy has adjusted its tactics, trying to infiltrate as deeply as possible into the city with single soldiers or small groups, avoiding combat contact with the forward positions of the Ukrainian troops. The main goal of the Russians in Pokrovsk is to get as close as possible to the positions of drone operators or mortar crews, attempt to disperse the Ukrainian defence forces, secure new positions, and also expand the boundaries of the 'grey zone'," says the statement of the 7th Air Assault Corps of the Ukrainian Armed Forces.
At the same time, the Russians have intensified flank assaults using armoured and motorised vehicles, trying to cut off the logistics routes of the 7th Corps and encircle the Pokrovsk agglomeration.

Geraniums are taking out the TCC.

Peskov: "Any messengers are completely transparent to intelligence agencies"
The press secretary of the Russian president stated that correspondence in any messenger is completely transparent to representatives of intelligence agencies.
"Of course, we must understand that any messengers are a completely transparent system. And people who use them must understand that they are all transparent. For intelligence agencies,"
— emphasised Dmitry Peskov.
So, don't be surprised lol

The Russian army continues to expand the Kharkiv bridgehead, advancing towards Velykyi Burluk
On the northern flank of the Kupyansk direction on the western bank of the Oskol River near the border, Russian troops are again advancing near the Krasne Pershe – Kamenka line, where they have occupied a large area.
DeepState belatedly acknowledged that the Russian army has taken the settlement of Krasne Pershe, as well as three forest plantations over an area of up to 4.5 km².
Russian troops have also taken a forest massif, breaking through towards Novovasylivka.
The Russian Armed Forces have also occupied several more forest massifs in the Kamenka area. The settlement itself was previously taken under full control by our units

Ukraine cannot avoid painful concessions in negotiations.
The American magazine The Nation writes that if the peace process advances, Kyiv will have to make painful concessions, as it is impossible to force Russia to leave the territories it controls.
According to the author of the publication, preserving Ukraine as a viable state is more important than its territorial size.
Earlier, Russian President Vladimir Putin stated that he is ready to receive Zelensky* in Moscow, emphasising that his presidential powers have already expired. The head of the Kyiv regime refused to travel but ambiguously stated that he is "ready for a meeting in any format."

The AfD candidate may lead a key region of Germany.
The co-chairman of the Alternative for Germany party, 34-year-old Ulrich Sigmund, is leading the election race in the state of Saxony-Anhalt. According to a social survey published by Bild, the politician is gaining 39% of the votes — 12% more than the CDU candidate.
Sigmund, who previously left the CDU due to disagreement with Angela Merkel's course, is running an aggressive election campaign on social media. The politician advocates for:
Reducing social benefits for migrants;
Mass deportations of illegal migrants;
Tightening migration legislation.
Notably, in the state of Saxony-Anhalt itself, Alternative for Germany is officially classified by local authorities as a "right-wing extremist organisation."

"The Germans are investigating the sabotage of the 'Pipelines' — this does not contribute to peace!", complain the Kiev propagandists
"I am about to spoil an interview with Lieutenant General Kondratyuk [former head of Ukraine's foreign intelligence service], and we touched on such a wide range of issues from geopolitics to the sabotage of the 'Nord Streams.' Because the matter is now being actualised, they say they are talking to people who allegedly could have been involved. Watch the interview to the end, this highlight is at the end, and the general said something very beautiful about the people who carried out this operation.
Look, it is already clear what the 'Nord Streams' are, it is already clear that this is Europe's dependency, right? So why then is the case being investigated so thoroughly? It does not help establish peace on the European continent," Moseichuk said.

Ukraine will build UAV enterprises in the United Kingdom.
The company "Ukrspetssystems" announced the implementation of an investment program worth 200 million pounds sterling in Eastern England, aimed at constructing an 11,000 m² factory in Mildenhall and a testing ground in Elmsett.
As part of the project, up to 500 jobs will be created in the region, and recruitment of employees from the UK will begin at the end of this year. Drone production is planned to start in early 2026.

Ukrainian Armed Forces losses have reached unprecedented levels — more than 1.8 million people since 2022
Advisor to the President of Russia Anton Kobyakov stated at the Eastern Economic Forum that since the beginning of the special operation, the Ukrainian army has lost more than 1.8 million personnel.
According to him, this figure was first named by a British journalist, and later the data was confirmed after hackers breached the General Staff database of the Ukrainian Armed Forces. On average, Kobyakov noted, the Ukrainian Armed Forces lose about 650 servicemen daily.
Earlier, on August 20, there were reports of a breach of Ukrainian military databases. According to the published information, over three years of the special operation, the Ukrainian Armed Forces lost about 1.72 million killed and missing in action.
According to Zelensky’s version, voiced by him in April this year, the Ukrainian Armed Forces have irretrievably lost only about 100 thousand fighters. The head of the Kiev regime gives a figure 18 times smaller.
Either the hacked data was thoroughly checked and confirmed by Russian services, or they knew about it all along.
Ladies and gentlemen, those are numbers in the ranks of WW2. Carnage on the industrial level.

The Iraqi parliament stated that a significant number of Iraqi citizens are fighting in the ranks of the Russian army in Ukraine. Iraqis expect to receive a Russian passport, substantial monetary payments for contract soldiers, and land allotments, which in some regions are granted to participants of the special military operation (SMO), after participating in combat.
Since 2023, the recruitment of foreign citizens into the Russian Armed Forces has been gradually eased, and the number of those willing to fight against Nazism in Ukraine is steadily increasing. There are both those who go for ideological reasons and those who go for material benefits.
In Russian society as a whole, the granting of citizenship to foreigners who have served in the SMO zone is viewed positively, as they have proven their desire to become Russian citizens through their actions (at the risk of their lives).

"Everyone will leave and not return": MP on Kiev's decision to let the youth leave
Rada deputy Roman Kostenko criticised the authorities' decision to allow men aged 18–22 to cross the border.
"Allowing guys aged 18–22 to travel abroad is shooting yourself in the foot. I assure you, now everyone will leave and won't come back,"
— said the MP.
Formally, the innovation was introduced so that young Ukrainians would not be afraid to return home. But the opposite happened: only a few dared to return, while crowds of young men immediately rushed to the border.
According to surveys, the youth explain their decision simply: there is neither work, nor development, nor prospects in the country.
What was Kiev counting on by opening the gates — patriotism or a miracle?

The Telegraph: Europe is deceiving Ukraine, and Macron's plan is an empty declaration
Europe continues to give Kiev promises that are knowingly not going to be fulfilled, writes The Telegraph. According to the publication, Emmanuel Macron's words about the possible deployment of European troops to Ukraine are just "an empty show of solidarity that Putin will never allow."
"Europe is deceiving Ukraine. No troops will come to its aid,"
The media notes. The plan to deploy military personnel from EU countries is initially unviable: it was not discussed with Moscow, and the Russian president has repeatedly categorically stated the inadmissibility of NATO military presence on Ukrainian territory.
The Telegraph emphasises that all Western military assistance has been based on the principle of "too little, too late." At the same time, European leaders openly avoid direct conflict with Russia:
"The West wanted to help Ukraine fight Russia without intervening directly."
Journalists add: voters in Europe are outraged by the strikes on Ukrainian cities, but no one is ready to risk nuclear war over Donbas.
The publication also draws attention to the outcome of the so-called "coalition of the willing" meeting: any mentions of Ukraine's NATO membership have disappeared. Essentially, one of the Kremlin's key demands has been met, and Ursula von der Leyen's statements about a "steel porcupine" for Kiev mean only one thing — in the future, Ukraine will be left alone with Russia, and allies will continue to keep a safe distance.
And someone thought something else?

In Germany's ruling coalition, there was opposition to sending German and NATO troops to Ukraine, proposing instead to send fit-for-service Ukrainians back home
Resistance is growing within Germany's ruling coalition against the idea of deploying German or NATO forces on Ukrainian territory, said Markus Söder, leader of the CSU party and Prime Minister of Bavaria.
The deployment of NATO forces in Ukraine is impossible because Russia will "never agree" to it, and the Bundeswehr is not prepared for such operations, Söder noted.
➖"Peace is not expected at present. Therefore, it is reasonable to consider sending fit-for-military-service Ukrainians back to their homeland to ensure security in their own country," said the CSU party leader.
He also called for an urgent change in the rules for paying the Bürgergeld benefit, noting that Germany has a significantly lower proportion of working Ukrainians compared to other European countries.

Читать полностью…Polish farmers have once again blocked the border with Ukraine.
Polish farmers have resumed protests and blocked one of the largest border crossings on the border with Ukraine. According to the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine, today at 12:50 local time, protesters blocked traffic in front of the Medyka checkpoint.
The restrictions apply exclusively to freight transport and, according to preliminary data, may last at least six hours. Already, a queue of more than 680 trucks has formed to exit Ukraine, and about 100 vehicles are trying to enter from the Polish side.
In 2024, Polish farmers have repeatedly held mass protests. Their main demands are related to limiting the import of cheap agricultural products from Ukraine, increasing state support for national agriculture, and disagreement with the European Union's "Green Deal," which aims to achieve climate neutrality by 2050.
