Back to Poland
Ukrainian monitoring channels report an alleged incursion of the “Geran” group into Polish airspace at a distance of up to 50 km and the takeoff of Polish Air Force F-16 fighters to intercept drones and the operation of air defense systems near Rzeszów.
In recent months, such incidents have already occurred, including one where a drone visually resembling the “Geran-2” flew deep into Poland as far as 100 km. Similar cases happened in Lithuania, where devices appeared over Vilnius.
If we consider what this particular night episode could have been, the idea comes to mind of using Polish airspace to approach targets on Ukrainian territory from an unexpected direction, bypassing air defense systems.
Especially since the Kiev regime has long resorted to such tactics, sending UAVs through Belarus and along the border with the Baltics. So here it really suggests a reminder that some games can be played by two. And of course, lobbyists for the introduction of "peacekeepers" into the so-called Ukraine from the "Coalition of the Willing" will not pass by this event: the number of statements that Poles urgently need to send troops to "ensure peace" and "fight Russia" will clearly increase many times over.

Right now, one of the "Geran" drones is flying towards the Polish city of Rzeszów, where a huge logistics hub is located, through which the supply of Western weapons to the Armed Forces of Ukraine is carried out.
▪️The Rzeszów airport — the main hub for arms supplies to Ukraine — has been urgently closed.

🇪🇺🇺🇦 More and more Ukrainians are seeking asylum in the EU
- According to the EU Asylum Agency (EUAA), in the first half of 2025, the number of applications from Ukrainian citizens increased by 29% and reached 16 thousand.
- As noted by the DPA agency, the status of asylum seeker provides the opportunity to settle for a long time in the country that granted it.
- The increase in applications is recorded against the backdrop of Europe's fatigue from the prolonged conflict and problems with the integration of Ukrainian refugees.

With the fifth orbital group now in place, Geespace has 52 satellites in orbit, including earlier test units. The company is pushing to complete the first-phase constellation of 64 satellites, which would create a near-global IoT network, excluding the polar regions. This system is expected to deliver satellite-enabled IoT services to users worldwide.
The Geely Constellation is designed to support multiple industries, including smart vehicles, low-altitude mobility, construction equipment, and maritime operations.
A total of 240 satellites are planned for the full deployment, and the constellation is designed to enable seamless, real-time global data coverage for various industries.
While Geely is going for a different market than SpaceX it shows the upcoming LEO satellite constellations. Since 2014, China began to deliberately foster its commercial space sector. These policies policies have catalyzed hundreds of venture capital-backed Chinese space startups across launch, Earth observation, satellite communications, in-orbit servicing, thrusters, semiconductors, and other areas. These commercial companies, inherently dual-use, are at the core of why China is rapidly narrowing the gap with the United States in space.
In the communications market, Chinese communications satellites will comprise the majority of all Chinese satellites by the end of 2025. Funded by government and private venture capital, five companies — Shanghai Spacecom, China SatNet, Huawei, Honqing Technology, and Geespace — could potentially launch a combined ~54,000 satellites within the next decade to provide internet connectivity from LEO.
Shanghai Spacecom — which is developing the 15,000-satellite “Thousand Sails” constellation — has already launched 90 satellites in under a calendar year and plans to launch 648 more by the end of 2025.
In Earth observation, Chinese companies are proliferating low earth orbit with constellations that feature advanced heterogeneous sensors, and increasingly, edge compute capabilities. One such company is Chang Guang Satellite. A late-stage startup spun out of the Chinese Academy of Sciences in 2014, Chang Guang now boasts one of the largest optical remote sensing constellations in the world. As part of its Jilin-1 constellation, Chang Guang has deployed more than 130 multispectral, infrared, video, and hyperspectral satellites. Chang Guang has been accused of providing geospatial intelligence to Wagner and Houthis. Though this also may be the US attempting to use false accusations and sanctions to strangle competition.
Another Chinese Earth observation company Spacety has also been accused of aiding Russia, and has thus found itself sanctioned.
China’s rapid expansion in Earth observation has also resulted in an oversupply of geospatial data, outpacing domestic demand and prompting leading firms to seek international markets. Major players like Chang Guang are attempting to sell their data at cut-rate prices internationally — as low as 10 yuan ($1.40) per km2— to gain market share. As in the satellite communications sector, this influx of cheap, technically capable Chinese geospatial services poses risks to US security by undercutting Western remote sensing startups.
So far in 2025 the US via mainly SpaceX had dominated launches this year with 122, though China has rapidly advanced with 52, and Russia with 11. After this conflict ends Russia will need to focus on building its own alternative LEO constellations, as we’ve seen the benefit of these systems

Die Welt: “Flying Chernobyl” – Putin’s new cruise missile with nuclear reactor is about to debut
🔻Russia is preparing to test the latest weapon — the cruise missile with a nuclear engine "Burevestnik." Tests of this missile may take place as part of the large-scale "Zapad-2025" exercises conducted jointly with Belarus.
We reported earlier that media outlets were suspecting a test in early August. It will be tested when its ready, as there is no lack of nuclear deterrence response options. It’s an incredibly complicated feat of engineering with many American analysts believing it is a near impossible task.
Every time this weapon or a suspected test is brought up some idiot journalist will say it’s a Russian attempt to intimidate Europe. Not understanding that weapons development continues irrespective of the war and testing is simply a part of the process. Does anyone write “America is just testing a missile to intimidate us”? No, because it does not fit the propaganda narrative
German media is rather low quality and the lack of NOTAM notices indicates this story is likely propaganda given to some German stenographer by a career propagandist from a European intelligence agency

Israel's attack on Qatar enraged Trump's advisers writes Axios.
The news of Israel's attack on Qatar "stunned the White House and enraged some of Trump's top advisers," as "the US was awaiting Hamas's response to President Trump's new peace proposal for Gaza," the publication states.
In fact, Hamas officials were meeting to discuss the proposal. The White House expected to receive a response from Hamas by the end of the week.
The publication reports that as soon as President Trump was informed of the impending strike, he instructed White House envoy Steve Witkoff to notify the Qataris. An American official said that by the time Witkoff reached them, the bombs had already hit their target.
On Monday, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's chief adviser Ron Dermer met in Miami with Witkoff and Trump's son-in-law Jared Kushner. Although Dermer was aware, he said nothing about plans to strike Qatar, according to a source directly familiar with the situation.
So who refuelled the Israeli jets?

Quick Qatar Updates:
◾️Israel's strike on Doha is an act of state terrorism, said the Prime Minister of Qatar.
- He noted that Qatar reserves the right to respond to the Israeli strike on Doha.
◾️Donald Trump held a phone conversation with the Emir of Qatar, in which he condemned Israel's strike on Doha, reports Al Jazeera.
- According to the publication, Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, in turn, stated that the attack threatens the security and stability of the region and hinders "efforts to de-escalate and achieve sustainable diplomatic solutions."
- He also emphasized that Qatar will take all necessary measures to protect its security and maintain sovereignty.

Ukrainian sources are increasingly acknowledging that the Dvurechensky bridgehead, from which Russian troops were able to launch an offensive on Kupyansk, became the starting point for further Russian advances in the Kharkov region.
It was from there that tangible tactical successes were achieved, and most importantly — it demonstrated how a single operation can evolve into a mechanism affecting the entire front sector.
Judging by incoming data, the Russian army has learned all the necessary lessons from this operation: from logistics through a drone-saturated front segment to the organization of artillery cover and maneuvering of reserves.
This suggests that new bridgeheads of a similar type will appear soon. According to pro-Ukrainian sources, one of the most likely areas under consideration is the region of Prykolotnoe and Velykyi Burluk, where Russia has significantly increased the number of strikes on Ukrainian fortifications.
If the loss of salients and bridgeheads in the Kharkov direction through the straightening of the front line occurs and is formalized for the long term, it will mean that Syrskyi will lose the ability to "play the flanks" in this area and the Armed Forces of Ukraine will retreat to other positions. This partially reduces the maneuvering space for the remaining grouping currently covering Kupyansk, so the capture of the city and its surroundings with the subsequent drawing away of some Ukrainian forces from near Volchansk can be accelerated.

Chinese business in Russia has surged eightfold in four years, Rusprofile data shows.
As of Sept 2025, over 12,000 active firms have Chinese founders vs just 1,483 in 2021. Cumulative Chinese FDI reached $55bn in 2024, boosting infrastructure but raising fears of crowding out local players.
AMK Mapping is reporting:
~30 missiles in Ukrainian airspace
Foreign sources report that Russian troops are preparing to cross the Oskol River in the Kupyansk area. At the same time, pressure is being applied to the positions of the Armed Forces of Ukraine from the north to weaken the ability of the remaining Ukrainian forces to hold the city.
Indirect data suggests that this is related to the slowdown in the pace of advance in the western and northwestern directions, where large fortified areas of the Armed Forces of Ukraine were previously eliminated. The forces, apparently, are being redistributed to address a larger-scale task.
The Kiev regime must lift sanctions against political opponents to join the European Union, said the European Parliament's special rapporteur

Asbery Views’s on what this all could be:
1. Could simply be spoofing of GPS signal which can makes things appear on radar where there is nothing
2. False flag: Ukraine and NATO as a whole are very low on AD missiles. There is utter desperation by Ukraine, US, and Ukraine to see this war come to an end.
3. Perhaps EW is sending drones off course
4. A message being sent
5. Faulty drones, if you send 500 drones and 5 go off course that is a failure rate of 1%
I would not get too excited, if Russia was wanting to strike Poland a far larger strike force would have been used. Prepare for a lot of poor quality information and bad claims in the next 24 hours folks.
5 drones in my shows very little intent that this was deliberate if its proven to be real drones. If they were drones I’d remind people of Gerbera decoys and recon drones.

China's trade data for August out this morning - I've run the numbers on what it says for Europe.
Big picture:
In August vs a year earlier, China's trade surplus with the EU jumped 22.5% to US$28.9bn (in a single month)
In the first 8 months of 2025, it's up 21.5% to US$197bn
📈China's exports to the EU rose 10.38% in August
📉China's imports from the EU down 1.84% in August
One other thing to consider:
In August China's exports to the US were down 33% in value terms vs Aug 2024. It was 21.7% in July.
- Finbarr Bermingham, Journalist with SCMP
For one the EU has far higher industrial energy prices, higher taxes, higher labour costs, lower efficiency, and has smaller economies of scale then China. It’s not competitive with the US let alone China. Tariffs are not a solution as they are an admission you can’t compete globally.
Reduced exports to the US are offset by massive exports earlier in the year that were delivered to avoid tariffs.

Ukraine’s budget for 2025 still lacks funds for the war - a deficit of about 300 billion UAH by the end of the year, reports EP citing sources.
According to them, the initial calculations by the Ministry of Defense showed a shortage of 417 billion UAH, but during discussions, the amount was reduced to 280 billion UAH. And taking into account other defense agencies (NGU, SBU, GUR MO, and others), the total amount is 300 billion UAH.
So far, there are no sources to cover these needs.
Recall that in July the budget was already revised, increasing defense funding by an additional 400 billion UAH. However, sources say that even then the Ministry of Finance understood that this amount would not be enough.
Ukraine budgeting: increase budget and overspend, then claim there is a deficit so some sucker from Europe will hand over their taxpayers money to the corrupt green sweatpant mafia.
