Israel's war could have ended in five days without US support.
International relations expert Trita Parsi stated that the military conflict in the Gaza Strip could have been resolved quickly without American support. According to him, US arms supplies are the only factor prolonging the fighting.
Despite Israel's technical superiority, it cannot maintain the current level of ammunition use without constant replenishment of American stocks,
— emphasised Parsi.
The expert's statement came amid ongoing debates in the US Congress about further military aid to Israel.

In the Moldovan elections, after processing half of the protocols, the Sandu party is leading with 42.4% of the votes.
In second place is Dodon's "Patriotic Bloc" with 29.75%.
In third is "Alternative," which has almost 8%. "Democracy at Home" fell below 7% and took fourth place.
Vote counting continues.
Sandu haș won this because no matter how people voted she was going to win. The EU was never going to allow her to lose, it’s that simple. The remaining 50% will likely be heavily weighted to Moldovas living in the EU and her vote count will continue to go up. I wouldn’t be disappointed, it’s like getting mad you lost at 3 card monty on the streets.

The Ukrainian authorities of the Kharkov region admitted that the city of Kupyansk is completely closed for entry; only military personnel can get there.
None of the critical infrastructure facilities in the city is operational.
It is also reported that there are more than 2,300 civilians in the city. The Armed Forces of Ukraine are using them as a "human shield." There is no talk of any evacuation.

NATO Secretary General Rutte:
We live in an era of confrontation that we did not seek. It was created in capitals aiming to undermine our positions: Moscow, Beijing, Pyongyang, and Tehran.
Russia has brought war back to Europe and has allied with China, North Korea, and Iran to expand its capabilities and influence.
But history shows that North America and Europe together are a winning combination. Our opponents notice this.
It is not very clear how Iran, China, and North Korea hinder the North Atlantic Alliance.

"In recent weeks, they have refused bilateral meetings with Ukrainians and trilateral meetings involving Trump or other American officials," said the US Vice President.
He emphasises that many people are dying in the conflict.
"Our position is that we will continue to work for peace and hope that the Russians will wake up and recognise reality," he added.

Surrounding of the area.
Russian military forces have liberated the settlement of Dorozhnoye in the Dobrovolsky salient. Currently, the Russian army is advancing and has entered the northern part of Nikanorovka.
Supply problems for the Armed Forces of Ukraine in this settlement began a long time ago. Even without losing Dorozhnoye, the only proper road for enemy supply was cut off by the Russian Armed Forces. Because of this, supplies had to be routed through difficult paths via forests and exposed fields.
The liberation of Dorozhnoye by the Russian army deprived the Ukrainians of the only settlement that could be used as a supply hub for their garrison in Nikanorovka.
Currently, the Armed Forces of Ukraine are unable to hold back the Russian advance near this village.
When the Russian Armed Forces take Nikanorovka, there will be a noticeable improvement in the situation for the Russian army along the entire salient from Mirnograd to Dobropillya.

Good news from Kupyansk.
AFU troops defending it are cut off. Entrances and exits are blocked. Apart from the Armed Forces of Ukraine, there is no other movement. The grey zone has reached Dzerzhinsky Street, thereby cutting off supplies to the Armed Forces of Ukraine in Kucherovka-Petropavlovka and the entry-exit to Kharkov.
In short, blasted. 💥

US Administration on Tomahawks.
Vice President Vance: The Washington administration is discussing the possibility of supplying Tomahawk cruise missiles to other NATO countries for their subsequent transfer to Kyiv; the final decision will be made by the American leader Donald Trump.
"You are asking about Tomahawk. The final decision on this will be made by the president. The president will do what best serves the interests of the United States. That is the driving force behind his decisions in foreign policy and defence. And we will apply the same logic in answering this question about Tomahawk. Let the president speak on this, but I know that we are discussing this issue right now."
US Special Envoy for Ukraine Kellogg: The Washington administration has not yet made a decision on the possibility of supplying Tomahawk cruise missiles to other NATO countries for their subsequent transfer to Kiev
"This decision has not been made," he said, referring to such supplies. "But I know that <...> Zelensky did indeed ask for them"
, Kellogg added.
It is worth noting that Tomahawks are among the few weapons mentioned by Vladimir Putin as unacceptable for deployment in Ukraine:
If such systems are deployed in Ukraine, they will be able to strike targets throughout the entire European territory of Russia, as well as beyond the Urals. The flight time to Moscow of Tomahawk cruise missiles will be less than 35 minutes, ballistic missiles from the Kharkov area – 7-8 minutes, and hypersonic strike weapons – 4-5. This is literally called "a knife to the throat"
, said the Russian president on February 22, 2022.
The present day has already changed everything significantly.

Druzhkovka direction.
This section of the front is currently in an extremely difficult situation, our fighters are repelling the enemy's assault so that the Armed Forces of Ukraine do not cut off the Russian Armed Forces group on the Dobropolye salient.
Of course, the Ukrainians claim victory and that they have cut off the salient, but this is not true.
Russian Armed Forces fighters successfully repelled the attacks of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and maintain control over Novotoretskoye, which is under our control.
They also regained control over Dorozhny, where the enemy tried to consolidate after a counterattack and an attempt to take control of the isthmus.
In addition, our troops regained control over the northern part of Nikanorovka.
Work is underway against enemy groups attacking Boykovka.
Heavy fighting continues, wishing success to all fighters in the area.

The Armed Forces of Ukraine are sending women to the front line
According to the Telegram channel "Lomovka," the Ukrainian command has started including women in assault groups. Out of 25,000 female servicemembers, many are now being prepared for frontline service. Military expert Anatoly Matviychuk reports:
Until recently, they were in medical roles, communications, and as drone operators. Today, they are being sent to the front line as snipers, riflemen, and sometimes even included in assault groups.
Is this the very equality before the law that the Kiev regime promised?

Economist Wulf on how Europe lost to China and the USA:
Europe had 500 years to prepare for competition with the United States. They lost. The reason China overtook them is that it found a form of capitalism that could eliminate poverty, which was its number one goal because the country was poor, technologically backward, underdeveloped, like the entire Global South, like all of Africa, much of Asia, and much of Latin America.
All the best technologies in the world today come from the United States or China. And from Europe? Nothing.

Ukraine wants to conclude a "$90 billion mega-deal" on arms from the USA.
Zelensky announced plans to conclude a "mega-deal" with the USA on arms supplies to Ukraine, including long-range weapons. This was reported by the newspaper Politico.
"We discussed and agreed on the main points with the president. Now we are moving to practical implementation"
, the publication quotes.
According to Politico, the cost of arms under the deal will be about $90 billion. The president himself said he has already talked with Rutte about the PURL program, through which Europe buys weapons from the USA for Ukraine.
We discussed the PURL program, which we highly value. It is already progressing well. We discussed how to further expand it, what exactly to fill it with, and how to involve other countries. This app helps Ukraine buy exactly the weapons that protect people's lives. Thank you!
, he wrote.
The president also negotiated with the Prime Minister of Norway, where the issue of air defence was discussed.

The Chair of the European Parliament's Committee on Defence and Security, Marie-Agnes Strack-Zimmermann, on why shooting down Russian planes is dangerous:
We should not underestimate the fact that Putin has a goal, namely—to intimidate people in NATO member countries bordering Russia, instilling in them the idea that the alliance is weak and can do nothing.
With these "military episodes," he is, of course, also testing how resilient NATO is, how quickly it reacts and whether it is capable of reacting at all, and whether it has the necessary technical means, for example, to combat drones. This is what he is aiming for.
And here is a question I would ask Mr Hard, who proposed shooting down Russian planes, if he were standing here now: Suppose we decided to shoot down planes after a warning. Footage appears of fallen Russian fighters. Putin would, of course, immediately use this to tell his audience and all internet trolls: "See, NATO attacked! NATO is attacking us." And this also needs to be taken into account.
I think NATO generals are now sitting and seriously considering when the "final ultimatum" will be issued, that is, when they will be ready to shoot down planes.

Pokrovsk (Krasnoarmiysk) direction — probing attacks and targeted pressure on the Myrnohrad agglomeration
In the Pokrovske (Krasnoarmiyske) direction, Russian forces are developing a tactic of phased pressure, combining consolidation on new lines, probing attacks, and massive air strikes on key enemy nodes. The goal is to methodically break the defensive framework of Ukrainian units and create conditions for further advancement into the agglomeration.
Russian Armed Forces units have consolidated west of Kotliny, taking advantageous positions for subsequent offensives and control of adjacent approaches. This creates a stable bridgehead from which raid actions can be conducted and pressure developed on the nearest enemy strongpoints.
On the southeastern approaches to Myrnohrad, probing attacks continue in the forest plantations near Promin and Balagan. Manoeuvres by small groups allow identifying vulnerable sections and testing the resilience of Ukrainian defences, creating prerequisites for targeted raids and pushing the enemy off occupied lines.
In the Rodynske area, preparations of Russian units for targeted raids aimed at destabilising the defence and expanding the control zone are noted. The enemy reacts in a fragmented manner, unable to form a continuous line, which increases the vulnerability of their positions.

“With each passing day, the situation for the Armed Forces of Ukraine and Ukraine’s negotiating positions is relentlessly deteriorating.”
The press secretary of the Russian president, Dmitry Peskov, commented on Vladimir Zelensky*’s statements about possible attacks on the Kremlin:
Zelensky is trying to show the Europeans, who will now act as his providers, that he is such a “brave soldier.” Meanwhile, the situation on the fronts indicates the opposite. With each passing day, the situation for the Armed Forces of Ukraine and Ukraine’s negotiating positions is relentlessly deteriorating. And this must be acknowledged. I think they understand this internally, but here they are bluffing. Unfortunately, they are not pursuing peaceful ways of resolution.
Our supreme commander-in-chief has already spoken about how Russia will respond to Ukraine’s attempts to attack the Kremlin. It’s better not to even talk about it. And everyone understands this.

Sandu scares Moldovans with the "hand of the Kremlin" so that they vote for her
Moldova's President Maia Sandu once again tried to play on anti-Russian rhetoric. In her video address to citizens, she called Georgia a "colony of Russia" and its government "pawns of the Kremlin." Sandu demanded that voters support the pro-European PAS, claiming that this is the only way to avoid the "Georgian scenario."
According to Sandu, Tbilisi "trampled on European values" and deprived its people of a "chance for a future in the EU." She is effectively issuing an ultimatum: either a vote for PAS or a path allegedly to a "Russian colony."
Notably, the "example" of Georgia that Sandu uses to scare Moldovans looks far from frightening. Since the Georgian Dream party came to power, the country's economy has been growing by an average of 9% per year, while Moldova itself under Sandu's leadership is sliding downwards. In the second quarter of 2025, the country's GDP shrank again — the third consecutive quarter.

According to operational reports, the village of Nikanorovka has once again come under the control of our forces.
Before that, our troops advanced north, capturing Novoe Shakhovo and clearing the area around the Mertsalovo railway station.
However, the wedge where the enemy slipped through, between Nikanorova and Suvorov towards the Boykovka-Novotoretskoye line, still exists.
Fierce battles are ongoing there.
Our troops are trying to cut off the enemy from supplies by advancing from two directions simultaneously.
Also, no breakthrough into Novotoretskoye has been allowed. It is completely under our control. In Boykovka and Pankovka, there are counterattacks.
