Frontline report as of the morning of Saturday, October 11th
In the Ugledar direction, the Russian Armed Forces have successes in Poltavka and Uspenovka, fighting near Okhotnichye, Verbove, and Alekseevka.
On the Pokrovsk front fierce battles are ongoing in the area of the Dobropol salient. Vladimirovka is practically under Russian Armed Forces control, and several Ukrainian positions westward are encircled.
In the Konstantinovka direction, Russian sabotage and reconnaissance groups are active in the southeastern part of the city. The Russian Armed Forces are advancing north of Aleksandro-Shultino and east of Ivanopillya.
In the Seversk direction, battles are ongoing near Vyemka, Dronivka, and Yampil. The enemy is pulling in reserves, trying to hold the defensive line.
In the Krasnoliman sector fighting continues in the areas of Novoselivka, Derilovo, Stavky, and Zarechne.
In the Kupiansk direction, the Russian Armed Forces are advancing along Studencheska Street, expanding control in the areas of Petropavlivka and Kucherivka.
In the Zaporozhye direction, positional battles continue in Stepnohirsk, Prymorske, Mala Tokmachka, and Novodanylivka.

Kharkov Direction
Fierce battles continue in Volchansk and its surroundings.
With the support of artillery, TOS systems, and aviation, the Russian Armed Forces continue advancing towards the settlement of Khatne.
The Armed Forces of Ukraine are mostly engaged in defensive battles.
Volchansk Sector
With heavy fighting, our assault units have advanced to the left bank of the Volchya River.
During the advance, 20 buildings were cleared, and in the eastern part of the city near the settlement of Tykhoe, the Russian Armed Forces occupied two enemy firing positions.
In addition, in Volchansk, a UAV crew that was conducting attacks on civilians and civilian infrastructure in the Belgorod region was eliminated by a strike from precision weapons.
In the Synelnykove forests, our fighters are also making progress, having captured an enemy stronghold.
Liptsi Sector

Furthermore, an ambush was organised by the FPV 18th Motorised Rifle Division, resulting in the destruction of Colombian mercenaries in a pickup truck near the settlement of Kolodezne.

"Usatovo" substation 330/110 kV is a key power supply hub of the southwestern energy ring of the Odessa region, part of the Odessa REC of the Southern ES of the State Enterprise NEC "Ukrenergo".

The facility supplies power to the main and distribution networks of 330 kV and 110 kV, providing electricity to industrial and residential loads in Odessa, Illichivsk, and nearby settlements.
▪️Main equipment:
• Transformers:
• 1T — 110/10 kV, 16 MVA (secondary section for own needs);
• 2T — 110/10/6 kV, 25 MVA;
• 3AT — 330/110/10 kV, 200 MVA;
• 4AT — 330/110/10 kV, 200 MVA;
• 5AT — 330/110/10 kV, 200 MVA.
• Switching equipment — vacuum circuit breakers BB/TEL-330, disconnectors RGD-330/2000, current transformers TFZM-330, Siemens-SIPROTEC protection and automation and telemechanics systems.
🔻At about 00:50 on 11.10.2025, the territory of the "Usatovo" substation was hit by at least seven strikes. At the moment of impact, the following were recorded:
• short-term numerous blue arc flashovers (typical for short circuits on the 330 kV side);
• instantaneous disconnection of the external power supply of the Odessa energy hub;
• intense fire at the power transformers site.
📌According to visual data, a powerful fire with flame sources in the 330/110 kV section and persistent smoke emissions is observed.
▪️Primary damage zone: site of autotransformers 3AT–5AT (330 kV line).
▪️Secondary damage zone: 110 kV distribution device and own needs cells (1T, 2T).
🔻Main consequences:
• direct hit to autotransformer 3AT (330/110/10 kV, 200 MVA) — fire in the active part, tank depressurization, transformer oil release and subsequent fire spread to adjacent units;
• thermal damage to 4AT and 5AT — melting of bushings, deformation of radiator sections, partial burning of contact busbars;
• destruction of portal supports of the 330 kV outdoor switchgear, tearing off phase "B" bus ducts and breaking flexible connections;
• damage to 110 kV cells — insulator breakdown, burning of 10 kV and 6 kV own needs cables;
• failure of protection, automatic reclosing (AR), and automatic load shedding (ALS) systems due to burning of telemechanics cabinets;
• disconnection of 330 kV lines "Usatovo–Adzhalyk", "Usatovo–Artsyz", "Usatovo–Dnestrovskaya HPP", leading to the break of the southern energy ring.
🔻Energy consequences
• The automatic reclosing system (AR) did not operate due to protection damage.
• Resonant voltage oscillations were recorded in the energy system at adjacent substations "Adzhalyk" and "Artsyz", after which they automatically switched to unloading mode.
• The city network of Odessa was partially powered through backup 110 kV inputs, but power flows decreased by more than 60%.
🔻Multiple point breakdowns and intense blue flashes observed at the moment of the attack indicate arc discharges during short circuits at 330 kV voltage and secondary overvoltages in the 110 kV circuits. Considering the scale of the fire and the number of transformers involved, the loss of throughput capacity of the "Usatovo" node is estimated at 300-400 MVA, which is about 20% of the power transmission capacity of the southern energy ring. Restoration of the substation is possible only after delivery of new autotransformers and reconstruction of the 330/110 kV outdoor switchgear.

As the publication writes, citing several sources close to the negotiations, Venezuelan officials, hoping to end the conflict, allegedly offered the Donald Trump administration the following (count on your fingers):
▪️open all existing and future oil and gold projects to American companies,
▪️grant American enterprises preferential contracts,
▪️redirect Venezuelan oil exports from China to the US,
▪️terminate their country's energy and mining contracts with Chinese, Iranian, and Russian firms.
The Netherlands has allocated $310 million for new military aid to Ukraine.
▪️A $200 million aid package will include unnamed counter-UAV systems.
▪️$110 million will be invested in the production of long-range strike drones in the Netherlands as part of the "Build with Ukraine" initiative.
In addition, Dutch Defense Minister Ruben Brekelmans stated that Ukraine and the Netherlands are creating joint ventures for weapons production but declined to provide details. It is likely referring to a UAV and MLRS production facility recently opened at the VDL company site in Borne.
