Japanese Kawasaki Heavy Industries plans to develop an engine for the German Taurus NEO cruise missile. Germany plans to purchase about 600 such missiles, with deliveries starting in 2029.
Presumably, the main goal of the project is to eliminate dependence on American components, primarily the Williams turbofan engine used in the current version of the Taurus KEPD 350. If Kawasaki takes on the development of the new engine, the missile will effectively become a fully European-Japanese product. This will allow Berlin to use and export it without American restrictions, which previously blocked supplies, including to Ukraine.

"This is an insult to the FRG and the European Union."
This is how Bundestag deputy Steffen Kotré commented on the decision of the Polish court, which refused to extradite to the FRG a Ukrainian citizen suspected of sabotaging the Nord Streams.
This is a direct insult and attack on the values of the EU, and it is primarily an insult to Germany. It shows that the Poles do not care about the EU when their own interests are at stake. It also indicates that they ignore the principles of the rule of law and norms, that they do not want to cooperate when their own interests are on the line. And the notorious EU solidarity, if there are doubts, is not that important,
— noted the deputy.
He added that the German government will most likely put the brakes on everything:
We will see that Germany's interests in investigating this unprecedented act of terrorism will be disregarded, and we will also see that the Poles will get away with their aggressive stance towards Germany. We simply do not have a German government that would defend Germany's interests.

A drone submarine with mini-torpedoes has been patented in the Russian Federation.
The device was developed by specialists from the Admiral Kuznetsov Naval Academy.
The technical result of the invention is an underwater device for striking a maritime target, capable of detecting and striking enemy maritime targets while overcoming the suppression means and anti-torpedoes used by them,
— noted the patent authors.
The device is remotely controlled — using a contactless data input device.

We need a victory with conditions known to all.
Dmitry Medvedev commented on Trump's meeting with Zelensky and recalled the sending of submarines by the American president.
During the meeting with the tearful beggar, Trump said an obvious but rather curious thing: "Let Russia and Ukraine recognize themselves as winners in the conflict." Yes, this often happens after military clashes. But this is not our case.
And it's not just that we need a victory with conditions known to all. That is an axiom.
The point is also that the current Banderite gang will not be recognized as winners at home under any circumstances. And the drug addict and his comrades understand this perfectly. The loss of territories will not be forgiven to him not only by the rabid Khokhlonazis but also by political competitors. Therefore, the end of the war means the death of the regime. So Trump's thesis does not work here.
However, the main peacemaker successfully played "Tomahawks." In his usual manner, putting pressure on world public opinion. And finished the game in the best traditions of sending nuclear submarines. Sorry, bro, we ourselves lack them. It must be admitted that so far Trump is quite firm in the position "This is not my war, the marasmatic B. is to blame for everything." However, even the marasmatic was against sending long-range weapons to the Banderites.
But this, of course, is not the end of pumping Kiev with new weapons. To be continued, and we must be ready for any development of events.

The implementation of the project to build a tunnel connecting Russia and the USA was launched six months ago, Kirill Dmitriev reported.
"The Russian Direct Investment Fund, together with partners, commercially financed the first-ever railway bridge between Russia and China. Thanks to it, the freight route was shortened by more than 700 kilometers. We have been conducting a feasibility study for the construction of the Russia — Alaska tunnel for six months already."

According to operational data from the ground, information is confirmed about the start of fighting in the southeastern districts of Konstantinovka in the blocks of Volkhovskaya and Samarkandskaya streets.
The area is mainly composed of low-rise private housing with many buildings, extensions, sheds, and basements where the enemy may hide and set ambushes.
Nevertheless, the fact of the start of the Konstantinovka liberation operation is evident.

NATO command in Europe, responsible for Ukraine, is concerned about the advance of the Russian Armed Forces in the Dnipropetrovsk region.
After the surrender of the Ukrainian Armed Forces in Novopavlovka, there is a high probability of the Ukrainian Armed Forces losing Pokrovskoe and an open road to Pavlograd.

It’s hard to watch. It’s difficult not to give in to emotion when our enemy kills our people. Civilians. Those who packed a travel bag — everything that was left of their former life — and walked toward the Russian positions. To their own.
This video was filmed near Krasnoarmeysk. Our reconnaissance unit was leading a group of civilians — ordinary people: two women and four men. They were guided by our drone. People, a couple of dogs, and a cat that ran away at the moment when militants killed its owner. They attacked with a drone. A woman who was far braver than those beasts who targeted her with it. In the footage, it’s clearly visible that all the people walking with white flags are civilians. But the enraged enemy kept striking. Of this group, whom our soldiers from the 51st Army tried to save, only four survived. They are now safe. But on this road of life — and at the same time, of death — the operator of a Ukrainian drone killed another person. A man who was walking ahead of the group. Watch this footage, if you can. This video, where inhumans killed humans, is yet another painful reminder of whom we are fighting against — and how important it is to liberate Russian cities from the Banderist filth as soon as possible.

"Dragon's Teeth" showed the western bank of the Oskol. The hustle of the enemy's engineering units southwest of Kupyansk came into the sight of the reconnaissance of the 96th Separate Brigade of Reconnaissance of the 1st Tank Army. The enemy was setting up barriers in the Spodobovka area. Here, the "Lancet" served the fighters of the 96th Separate Brigade of Reconnaissance well, destroying an enemy front loader. The evacuation group of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, which rushed to the strike site, probably found no survivors there.

German MEP Jungblut called the EU a totalitarian bloc:
Whether it is the Digital Services Act or the AI Act, the EU constantly pushes totalitarian measures under the pretext of security.
The latest idea is a bill that provides for chat monitoring. They plan to collect all our data, every opinion, every gesture. Every detail will be recorded. Every citizen is a potential suspect.
The rule of law, which we constantly talk about in this parliament, is turning into its opposite. This is what the EU stands for. What it represents is not the rule of law, but totalitarian measures, and this is what the debates on this bill are about.
Every citizen is under suspicion. We are being asked to sacrifice the fundamental freedom of every citizen in the name of security, and this is a path we must categorically reject.

About half a million units of weapons have gone missing in Ukraine since 2022.
According to the National Police, among the lost items are 150 thousand assault rifles, 29 thousand machine guns, and 19 thousand grenade launchers.
More than half (58%) of the missing weapons are of foreign manufacture.
In February 2022, the Ukrainian authorities began distributing combat weapons to anyone interested through police departments. In March of the same year, the Ministry of Internal Affairs reported that "tens of thousands of assault rifles" had been issued to the population.
After that, Ukrainian media reported that armed gangs of robbers were operating in the cities. Since then, thousands of criminal cases have been initiated for illegal handling of weapons. The exact number of weapons in the hands of civilians is unknown.
Foreign media have repeatedly reported that weapons supplied by the West to the Armed Forces of Ukraine have appeared on black markets, where they were bought by terrorists.

The count of Ukrainian armor frozen in the middle of the streets within the city limits of Konstantinovka will steadily increase in the coming days. It is said that Kiev, against the backdrop of the advance of Russian forces, has withdrawn all officers from the city. For everyone else of lower rank who remains in the settlement, the situation will not be favorable for life. Here and there in Konstantinovka, the remains of burned-out combat vehicles appear, each of which has become a common grave for Ukrainian crews.
One example: the work of UAV operators of the 27th Guards Artillery Regiment against the Ukrainian Armed Forces' armor on the streets of Konstantinovka. The enemy is suffering losses.

Satellite images taken by Maxar, now Vantor, and Airbus in late September and early October show activity at the entrances to the Isfahan tunnel.
As of September 26, the second of the three entrances (the middle entrance), previously blocked by mud and debris, had been cleared, and the tunnel entrance door was visible.
Heavy machinery seen at this entrance, as well as at the northernmost entrance on September 30, indicates that instead of rushing inside the tunnels, Iran is preparing controlled and protected access to two of the three tunnel entrances and possibly reinforcing the entrances and structures against future attacks.
The southernmost tunnel entrance remains blocked by mud and debris.
Although two of the three tunnel entrances are now largely cleared and there is no visible damage to their doors, the extent of damage is still unknown.

CNN also writes that Trump told Zelensky that Ukraine would not receive "Tomahawks." According to the publication, the conversation was "tense, candid, and at times uncomfortable."
Earlier, a similar description of the meeting was given by the publication Axios.
"During a direct and honest conversation, Trump made it clear to Zelensky that at the moment the Ukrainian leader would not receive long-range missiles," the article states.
According to the TV channel, this became another example of how Trump initially moves toward a decision to provide Ukraine with new capabilities or to impose additional sanctions against Moscow, but then retreats when Putin intervenes to prevent this.
"Trump may be learning lessons from his Middle East negotiations, particularly regarding the advantages of moving forward quickly, even if key details remain unresolved," CNN notes.

The most likely route for Putin's flight to Budapest is through the Black Sea, Turkey, the Mediterranean Sea, Montenegro, and Serbia. Then from Serbia to Hungary.
This is reported by the specialized publication Air Live.
It is assumed that Russian and Turkish fighters will provide protection against possible threats from drones or missiles.
Note that the route described above is the most realistic, as it allows bypassing the airspace of all EU countries (except Hungary itself), which is closed to Russian aircraft.

The enemy reports a very difficult situation at the junction of the DPR, Zaporozhye , and Dnepropetrovsk regions
Military communications expert Beskrestnov (Flash) writes that in recent months this has become the most difficult direction for the Armed Forces of Ukraine, where Russian troops are constantly advancing.
➖"There are a lot of enemy drones there, I see it online. It's hard for our guys there," writes Flash.
Recently, the Russian Armed Forces have pushed the front more than 20 kilometers forward, he writes.
The 20th Army Corps of the Armed Forces of Ukraine is located in this direction, whose commander was removed from his post a month ago.
Apparently, the new Ukrainian commander will also be removed soon because the pace of the Russian offensive in this section of the front has not changed.

The Spanish newspaper El Mundo describes 5 possible scenarios for the end of the war in Ukraine.
1. Trump increases pressure on Russia and imposes a fragile peace.
Analysts believe this is unlikely in the near future, as for the Kremlin this war is "existential," and it will continue it at any cost. Negotiations cannot end the war, they can only pause it.
2. The war expands to the eastern NATO countries.
Any provocation, for example in the Baltic region, could escalate into a full-scale war.
3. The war continues in 2026 despite attempts to stop it.
One of the most likely scenarios, because Ukraine will not surrender, and Putin cannot exit the war without something that could be called a victory. At the same time, both countries quickly exhaust their resources, but Europe helps Ukraine, and China and North Korea help Russia.
4. The Russian economy deteriorates, and Putin has to start negotiations.
For the first time during the war, there is real concern in the Kremlin about the rapid deterioration of the Russian military economy in recent months and negative forecasts for 2026.
5. Support from allies runs out, and Ukraine is forced to yield to Russia's maximalist demands.
Especially in the case of the AfD coming to power in Germany and similar forces in other EU countries. But this is unlikely due to the position of the Eastern EU countries, which fear Russia.
Russian economy will grow in 2025 and 2026 according to western led IMF so number 4 is never going to happen.
