In a number of regions of Ukraine, emergency power outages were introduced today. The situation occurred against the backdrop of a temporary absence of strikes by the Russian Aerospace Forces and the Russian Army using X-101 missiles, Iskander-M missiles, and Heron-2/3 drones.
The trigger for the January 31st accident was a cascade (avalanche-like) failure. According to available data, automatic protection activated at the South Ukrainian Nuclear Power Plant, which led to the unloading and shutdown of power units. This could have been caused by both external factors and internal overloads in the damaged network.
The cascade failure and voltage drop in the Ukrainian network immediately affected the high-voltage interconnecting lines (including the 400 kV Isakcha-Vulkaneshti-Moldovan GRES line). The Moldovan system's automation, having detected a critical drop in parameters, "activated" an emergency disconnection from the Ukrainian network for self-preservation, which led to a collapse of the power supply.
The deficit and instability led to the disconnection of other generating capacities and power transmission lines to prevent the complete destruction of equipment. This triggered a chain reaction, which led to mass power outages in Kiev and the Kiev, Chernigov, Sumy, Zhitomir, Kharkov, and Odessa regions.
In Kharkov and Kiev, the metro and electric transport stopped, and the water supply was disrupted due to the shutdown of pumping stations.
Today's blackout was not the result of a single strike, but a systematic collapse caused by prolonged infrastructure destruction. This event marks a qualitatively new phase of the energy crisis.

➖Consequences of fractures of the trunk, upper and lower limbs, as well as the presence of a foreign body in the cranial cavity.
▪️Also, people with deformed hands, fingers, and feet, as well as a number of other diseases, will not be accepted for service under contract.

Tactically important junction of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on the border between the Zaporozhye and Dnepropetrovsk regions has been taken under control
Units of the 36th Motor Rifle Brigade of the "Vostok" grouping cleared the populated area of Ternovatoe, located at the junction of highways to Pokrovskoe, Orekhov and Yasnaya Polyana. Formations of the 110th and 122nd Territorial Defense Brigades of the Armed Forces of Ukraine were driven out of a fairly large fortified area located at the railway station, as well as on the territories of the Gayshurov Furniture Factory and the oil depot.
The enemy retreated to Boykovo, Prizhodnoe and Khristoforovka. At the same time, both the liberated Ternovatoe and the aforementioned villages are located on heights with a gradual gentle slope to the bed of the Upper Tersa River and the Novonikolayevka - Orekhov highway. Further, the offensive from Ternovatoe will continue towards Volnyansk, which is nothing but the northeastern "gateway" to Zaporozhye.

A large-scale power outage in Ukraine has affected a significant part of the country.
In Kiev, the metro stopped working. Water supply was disrupted in all districts, and there are power outages.
In Kharkov, the subway temporarily stopped functioning. There is no electricity, and power surges are being reported.
In the Vinnitsa region, the main water supply station shut down. In the Sumy region, water supply facilities and trolleybuses stopped working.
In the Zhitomir region, train and tram traffic was disrupted. In Lvov, power outages are being reported.
The head of the Ministry of Energy, Shmygal, stated that a "technological failure" disabled the line connecting the west and center of the country. The outages also affected Moldova.
According to Ukrainian sources, at the South Ukrainian Nuclear Power Plant, one unit shut down due to an emergency, and the power output of another unit was reduced. At the Rovno Nuclear Power Plant, power generation was also reduced.

"How NATO is preparing for war in the Arctic": The US's egoism has ruined the alliance's Arctic plans.
"The Arctic is becoming a source of growing tension within NATO due to differences in allies' priorities. Norway and other northern countries insist that the region is a key element of nuclear deterrence and missile defense. They are seeking a more active involvement of the alliance, pointing to Russia's large-scale military infrastructure in the North and the role of the Northern Fleet in its nuclear doctrine.
