John Bolton praised Trump’s strike on Iran as the “most consequential decision” of his presidency — but warned it could unleash chaos.
“There could be a lot of turmoil, a lot of bloodshed,” Bolton said, pointing to the risk of a power vacuum after the death of Iran’s Supreme Leader.
Bolton questioned whether Trump had fully planned for the aftermath. “He doesn’t particularly think strategically,” he said, adding that Trump “could swing wildly on a given issue in the course of a day.”

The US and Israel also had information about the whereabouts of key members of the Iranian intelligence. According to the publication's sources, during the subsequent strikes on the residence, strikes were carried out on the locations where the intelligence chiefs were located.
