"American allies in Europe and Asia are expressing growing concern over the US redirecting large batches of weapons to the war with Iran. Ayatollah Hosseinali Eshkevari, a member of the Assembly of Experts, said in a video published by Iranian media that “the name of Khamenei will continue,” adding that the vote had already been cast and the result would be announced soon.
The leadership transition could also draw scrutiny from Washington after U.S. President Trump previously suggested the United States should have a role in shaping Iran’s postwar leadership, a proposal Iran has rejected.

Tensions have arisen between the US and Israel following the strikes on Iran's oil infrastructure, reported the Israeli Channel 12.
According to a US security official, Israel notified Washington in advance about the planned attacks, but did not mention that they would be on such a large scale.
