🇺🇸🇮🇱🇮🇷 Bloomberg: The US and Israel's ammunition supplies could be quickly depleted if Iran maintains a high intensity of strikes.
To intercept a single target, two to three anti-aircraft missiles are usually used. However, last year, the US and its allies significantly depleted their reserves.
As the agency notes, during the last year's conflict, the US launched about 120 anti-missiles from THAAD systems, and purchased only a few dozen of them throughout the year.
According to experts, the US is spending interceptor missiles faster than it can produce them.

Iran opens the Strait of Hormuz for the passage of tankers, but warns Washington about retaliatory measures.
Former commander of the IRGC, General Mohsen Rezaei, in an interview with the Financial Times, stated that the artery of the global oil export will operate "until further notice".
At the same time, he announced that the American military and their contingent in the region are now considered "legitimate targets" for Tehran.

The spokesperson for the Iraqi government said:
With great sorrow and sadness, we express our condolences to the noble people of Iran and the entire Islamic nation on the passing of the world's great and valiant leader, His Eminence Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, whom we count among the first martyrs of the Prophet's family. This was a result of a blatant attack and reprehensible act that violates all human and moral norms, and in clear violation of international laws and conventions.
With the passing of the martyred leader, His Eminence crowned his journey of serving the Iranian people with the crown of martyrdom and loyalty to principles, defending his nation against injustice and tyranny, advocating for the path of righteousness, and striving to serve the causes of the Islamic nation and humanity as a whole.
In this context, Iraq renews its serious call for an immediate and unconditional halt to military operations and actions, which are pushing the region to unprecedented levels of violence, fuelling conflict, and undermining international peace and security.
The Iraqi government also declares a three-day period of national mourning across Iraq.
May God have mercy on the blessed martyr, and may the gardens of eternity be the abode of all our nation's martyrs in the highest ranks.
Indeed, we belong to God, and to Him we shall return.

🇷🇺Russia's Permanent Representative to the UN, Nebenzia, on the fact that Trump's accusations about Iran's nuclear weapons are unfounded:
The actions taken by Washington and West Jerusalem are nothing but another unprovoked act of armed aggression against a sovereign and independent UN member state, in violation of the Organization's Charter and fundamental principles of international law. They are openly aimed at further interference in Iran's internal affairs and the destruction of a state inconvenient to the West.
The statement made today by US President Donald Trump that this operation is aimed at preventing Iran from obtaining nuclear weapons is unfounded. Tehran has consistently stated that it has no such plans and is complying with its obligations under the Treaty on the Non-Proliferation of Nuclear Weapons. It's worth recalling that the only source of reliable information on this matter - the specialized reports of the IAEA Director General have never indicated that Iran could be engaged in the development of nuclear weapons.

Commercial ship traffic through the Strait of Hormuz, a narrow waterway on Iran’s southern border connecting the Persian Gulf to the Gulf of Oman and one of the world’s most vital maritime arteries, slowed sharply on Saturday after strikes by the United States and Israel on Iran, according to industry experts and maritime data analyzed by The New York Times.
The ship-tracking platform MarineTraffic showed a 70 percent drop in vessel traffic through the Strait of Hormuz, as of late evening in Iran, according to Dimitris Ampatzidis, a senior risk and compliance analyst at Kpler, MarineTraffic’s parent company. The majority of vessels in the area had done U-turns, diverted to alternative routes or begun idling in the Gulf of Oman, he added.
“Saudi Arabia, Iraq, the United Arab Emirates and Qatar are the most exposed,” said Mr. Ampatzidis, “as the majority of their seaborne crude and liquefied natural gas exports pass through Hormuz.”
Some vessels, however, continued to traverse the waterway, according to ship-tracking data from MarineTraffic and Pole Star Global, another data firm.
“My guess is they are trying to get out while there is still a better chance,” said David Tannenbaum, a former sanctions compliance officer with the U.S. Treasury.

As for Fatwas… I think there is a misunderstanding here—they do not “die” with the issuer’s death. In fact, as with any religious law, martyrdom may, in fact, reinforce the martyr’s fatwas.
Nonetheless, I think Iran will have no choice but to reconsider the prior objections to the nuclear path.
The number of deaths at a school in southern Iran has risen to 148.

Footage of massive airstrikes in Tehran.
@Slavyangrad
Let's reason.
What have the USA achieved?
▪️There's no change of power in Iran
▪️There's no change of course yet either
▪️It's not known whether work on the nuclear program has been halted or not
▪️A significant part of the military infrastructure has been destroyed, but the IRGC almost certainly has some trump cards (possibly several) up its sleeve
▪️There are (so far) no protests, the people are actively taking to the streets in support of the Ayatollah
▪️If the main goal is to derail/destroy Iran's nuclear program, then strikes will have to be repeated (for this, they hit the air defense/air force to break through a corridor for the B-2 to fly through again), and the conditions for this are generally in place.
What options does Iran have
▪️Start hitting Israel as they did last year
▪️Start hitting US bases in the Middle East even more actively. What would this achieve? At a minimum, it would make it clear that any country in the Middle East is within range of their missiles.
▪️Finalize the development of nuclear weapons (at least, try to do so)
▪️Mobilize the population (90 million is no joke)
What is unknown
▪️The USA's further plans for strikes
▪️The USA's further plans for regime change in Iran
▪️Iran's further plans for US bases in the Middle East (aircraft carriers? US allies in Jordan and Saudi Arabia?)
▪️Iran's further plans for a political course (here, there could be diametrically opposite options - either radicalization or a backroom deal)

‼️🏴☠️🇧🇬 Kozloduy Nuclear Power Plant: Dangerous Consequences Due to the Rejection of Russian Parts
▪️ The sixth unit of the Kozloduy Nuclear Power Plant has already been shut down twice this winter, and after the completion of the December repair, the reactor was stopped three more times. The main reason is the replacement of Russian parts with alternative ones: in particular, safety devices with a rupture disc MPURS-250-16 for separators-steam superheaters SPP-1000. The installed analogues do not guarantee reliable and stable operation of the equipment.
▪️ The incident attracted attention at the highest level: the station's director, Ivan Andreev, was invited to give explanations in parliament, and the General Prosecutor's Office launched an investigation. Deputies discussed with the station's management possible deviations from regulatory requirements related to changes in design solutions and the use of uncertified components, which resulted in unplanned shutdowns of the power unit and significant financial losses.
➖ The station's head noted that the NPP is actively exploring alternative technical options in the face of restrictions on equipment supplies from Russia. At the same time, in early February, the Bulgarian government gave permission to Kozloduy to continue purchasing the necessary equipment in Russia - both under existing contracts and through the conclusion of new agreements.

According to one hypothesis, after the assassination of the Ayatollah, there may be an attempt by the IRGC to seize power, and the Iranian clergy may allegedly be pushed into the background. The IRGC has much to lose in the event of a defeat and has always been determined. However, here too, Iran will have to choose a strategy wisely - either to quickly develop nuclear weapons and demonstrate its readiness to use them, or to opt for the least unpleasant option of peaceful agreements with the USA. It also matters whether the Americans will try to foment protests in Iran again or not.
