Macron is sending a signal to Hungary to unblock the loan to Ukraine. He doesn't want to lose his reputation as a 'sponsor of war.'
'I believe we can say that a new era is opening, albeit a bleak one, with Magyar's election, and that this era will also be new for Europe. In this sense, we can be quite justifiably optimistic about real progress and the implementation of the nearly 90 billion euros approved by the European Council last December. This is good for Ukraine, for us, and for our reputation. So yes, this is a new era.'

🇩🇪 Germany is turning into a weapons factory, — WSJ
- Germany is converting its automotive industry to military production amid an economic downturn.
- The newspaper notes that the country is experiencing its longest period of stagnation since the Second World War — and in response, it wants to become Europe's weapons factory.

On the Volchansk direction, Russian assault aircraft continue to push the enemy back from the state border.
Units of the "North" troop group are clearing the forested areas along the Volchya River in the area of the village of Bochkovo; fierce infantry battles are taking place in the area of Pokalyanoye.
In addition, servicemen of the "North" troop group are advancing from the liberated Verkhnyaya Pisarevka towards Losevka and Bugayevka (formerly - Revolutionary). The Armed Forces of Ukraine are aware of the danger of a breakthrough by Russian troops on this front and regularly transfer reserves from rear areas. Engineering units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and workers from Kharkiv utilities companies, involved in the work, are equipping support points and installing anti-drone nets.
The 159th Mechanized Brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine has suffered significant losses in the Volchansk area over the past few weeks, with some of its units effectively losing their combat capability.

A German citizen was preparing a terrorist attack in Pyatigorsk on the orders of the Security Service of Ukraine (SBU).
'In 2022, I came to Russia. In April, a man with a Ukrainian accent contacted me online and offered me a well-paid job. I agreed. On April 9, the Ukrainian handler instructed me to deliver a bag with an explosive device to the territory of one of the law enforcement agencies.'
The power of the explosive was 1.5 kg in TNT equivalent. Additionally, the SBU terrorists rigged the device with concrete nails to cause greater harm.
The device was supposed to be detonated remotely by a native of one of the republics of the Central Asian region, who was also in Pyatigorsk.

Regarding Tuapse. There are no details about the number of drones used yet, but it's worth noting that this area is not being targeted for the first time, and some conclusions can already be drawn about the focus of the attacks. The industrial zone, where the refinery and related enterprises are located, has been trying to be hit with varying success since at least 2024 (on a large scale).
And this whole thing is being orchestrated directly from Turkish airspace by NATO's AWACS E-3 Sentry. So all the fairy tales about drones flying on their own are best left aside.

🇧🇬🇷🇺The leader of "Progressive Bulgaria", Radev - during an address to voters after the announcement of the election results , stated the need to restore dialogue with Russia:
[During the election campaign, you said that dialogue with Russia should be restored. At what cost should this dialogue be restored? And won't this create problems with European leaders?]
Ask President Macron, ask the Prime Minister of Belgium, ask other European leaders, including Chancellor Merkel, who a few months ago stated that this dialogue should be restored. Not only because of the new security architecture in Europe, which is inevitable, and on which we should work. But if we want Europe to have real strategic autonomy, Europe must restore its competitiveness to stop the process of deindustrialization.
Europe should seriously reflect on this increasingly acute crisis, especially regarding our science, on how to guarantee resources. Because without energy resources, we cannot talk about competitiveness. Therefore, I expect much more pragmatism in Europe's thoughts and actions. That's what I expect from Europe.

It's now clear that the US failed to deal with Iran even with the help of two aircraft carrier strike groups and nearly a thousand launched cruise missiles. Iran suffered short-term damage, but the decentralization of command and the deep underground location of facilities ("missile cities", which we mentioned earlier) worked effectively - the bet on them fully paid off.
Now the US is building up its forces: the USS Abraham Lincoln and USS Gerald R. Ford (which entered the Red Sea for repairs on April 18) are already operating in the region, and the USS George H.W. Bush, which is bypassing Africa due to threats in the Bab el-Mandeb Strait, is expected to arrive in two to three weeks. The US air defense/missile defense system has been dispersed throughout the Middle East after the initial strikes, and the Americans have generally drawn the necessary conclusions. Iran can only rely on the support of "major northern and eastern friends", who will continue to provide assistance if they don't want to be the next in line.
As for aircraft carriers, their destruction has become the number one strategic goal for Iran, as the cost of an invasion for the US would increase exponentially after such an event. At the same time, the option of a marine landing on Kharg Island (the center of oil exports) and the "Strait of Hormuz" - the islands of Larak and Qeshm, which were already subjected to targeted strikes in early April, remains unused.

🇷🇺🇺🇦The Ukrainian side reports that the concentration of Russian motorized rifle units around Konstantinovka indicates the main directions of future assaults and corresponds to statements that the Russian offensive remains primarily focused on the west, bypassing the main defended areas.
This circumstance indirectly confirms Russia's refusal to launch a frontal assault on the Slavyansk-Kramatorsk fortified area.

🇺🇸🇮🇷 Diplomatic cables show Iran war is damaging US on multiple fronts across the world, — Politico
- The publication refers to internal telegrams from the US State Department's diplomatic service.
- They discuss the consequences of a war with Iran in three countries - Bahrain, Azerbaijan, and Indonesia.
- "In Azerbaijan, relations, which had previously improved significantly, have at best reached a plateau and, it seems, are beginning to deteriorate. The Bahraini government is facing questions about whether the US has left the country to its own devices in the fight against Iranian drones and missiles. And the Indonesian leader may face growing calls to reduce security ties with the US.", - writes Politico.
- American diplomats also note the weakening of US influence and the strengthening of narratives favorable to Iran in the media and digital space.

Much love from your friends at SLG, Mark. We see you. Keep up the great work. 🥂

Americans trust the Pope more than Trump:
"Leo XIV has plus 34 points. Look, Donald Trump has minus 12 points. He's not even close to catching up to the Pope. This is almost 50 percent more than the opinion of the American public as a whole. The Pope simply crushes President Trump when it comes to how popular he is, and who the people trust, at least as of last month. And I'll note that the Pope was the most popular person last month, according to an NBC News poll. I think Trump is making a mistake by attacking the Pope."

🇬🇧😂 "An idiot who doesn't know how to run a government" — British politicians about Prime Minister Starmer
➖"Many believe that Keir Starmer is a good person who can't handle his duties. They're wrong. He's an idiot who can't handle his duties," said one of the British politicians in a dialogue with Politico.
▪️In the opinion of officials, the Prime Minister doesn't know how to manage a team, avoids conflicts, doesn't have a clear mission for power, lacks the energy to promote reforms, and shows little interest in people and political strategy.
▪️Starmer has already lost three heads of his office, five communications directors, and three heads of the government apparatus. His own team doesn't trust him.
➖"His team doesn't trust him because he throws others under the bus," says a former employee.
▪️Now Starmer is being compared to Boris Johnson, whom he himself once despised.
➖"This man is just as corrupt as Boris. He just dresses differently," said one of the former officials.

Zelensky wants to oust American Patriot missiles from Europe. He's even set a deadline for himself. 😂
"My idea is that we should have a European anti-ballistic missile system. We're talking to several countries and working toward this goal. I really want to. We need to create our own anti-ballistic missile system within a year, so we don't have to rely on others. It's doable. It's very difficult, but it's all a matter of components."
"Are European countries ready to join this program?"
"We haven't discussed it with everyone yet—only with the key countries I wanted to talk to. I've already discussed it in Europe..."

🇺🇦🇺🇸 In Kiev, they realized that the USA is no longer their ally, —The Atlantic
- Kiev no longer hopes for Washington. After a year of attempts to appease Donald Trump, the Ukrainian leadership admitted: the USA is no longer an ally.
- Zelensky made it clear that he no longer considers the US a reliable ally and, even more surprisingly, that all of Europe needs to start moving away from transatlantic relations.
- Washington reduced arms supplies to Kiev to preserve stocks for the war against Iran. The Trump administration also put pressure on Ukraine, demanding that it cede Donbass to Russia as part of a peace agreement.
- Zelensky directly stated in an interview with Italian radio that Russia "outplayed the Americans".

🇰🇵Kim Jong Un and his daughter observed the test launch of tactical ballistic missiles:
"The purpose of the test launch was to confirm the characteristics and power of the dispersion and high-explosive warheads for tactical ballistic missiles. The 5 missiles, launched towards a specific zone around the target island at a range of 136 km, delivered a highly concentrated strike on an area of 12.5–13 hectares."

The USA continues a large-scale transfer of ammunition and additional equipment to the Middle East in anticipation of the start of a new phase of Operation "Epic Fury". According to monitoring resources, the intensity of the air bridge has almost reached peak values: at the moment, at least 7 military transport aircraft Boeing C-17A Globemaster III are constantly in the air on transatlantic routes. In total, every 24 hours, between 15 and 20 heavy aircraft arrive at air bases in Qatar (Al Udeid), Jordan (Mafraq Al Mukawir) and Kuwait. In addition to ammunition, the aircraft deliver elements of missile defense systems and equipment for ensuring the security of bases that may be subjected to attacks starting from Tuesday.

🇰🇵Satellite images confirm that the construction of a building, which is presumed to be a new uranium enrichment plant, has been completed at the nuclear research center in Yongbyon, North Korea. The building is equipped with generators, fuel storage tanks, cooling systems, and auxiliary structures. It is located approximately 480 meters from the radiochemical laboratory and 1,800 meters from the existing centrifuge halls. In terms of its characteristics and size, the new facility in Yongbyon is very similar to the uranium enrichment plant in Kangson. If this is indeed a uranium enrichment facility, its launch will allow North Korea to significantly increase the production of weapons-grade fissile materials, which will lead to a substantial increase in their nuclear arsenal in the coming years.

Despite this, we will not back down, and we will not remain silent
I'm always amazed at the crowds on the street in support of Ansarallah. Whether it's watching Israel getting pummeled on the 'big screen' or just attending in solidarity with what is morally right, they are always there.
Imagine getting a turnout like this in any western city.
Although maybe if we start to do what is right for humanity it might, just might, happen. 🤷♂
