Russia has begun to specifically target American businesses in Ukraine, but Trump is ignoring it, according to the New York Times.
Since 2025, targets belonging to Cargill, Coca-Cola, Boeing, Mondelez International, and Philip Morris International have been targeted. In April, seven Russian drones attacked a Cargill grain terminal in southern Ukraine.

According to Ukrainian sources, units of the Russian army have started using the new tactical radar MSL 20045, integrated into the anti-drone air defense system.
The station operates in the frequency range of 5.0–5.9 GHz, which coincides with the upper frequencies of the AN/MPQ-65A (Patriot PAC-2/3) radars. The antenna array, measuring 65×35 cm, is covered by a radio-transparent cap and mounted on a tripod. According to official data, the equipment reliably detects aircraft-type UAVs at a distance of up to 15 km, and FPV drones - up to 8 km at an angle of view of 45°. One operator can simultaneously establish tracks with 8 antenna posts of MSL 20045. Target designation from MSL 20045 can be provided to the crews of UAV interceptors "Yolka", "Molot", "Molniya-2P" and, in the future, to automated machine gun complexes "Zubr".

Now its transfer to the fleet is scheduled for 2034, and the total construction period will stretch to 15 years.
It may seem like a coincidence, but the same applies to all key projects of the decade: USS Enterprise (CVN-80) is seriously behind schedule, USS John F. Kennedy (CVN-79): the construction cycle has actually been extended to 16 years, America class (LHA): the delivery dates of universal landing ships have also been postponed.
The problem lies in the tight link to shipyard capacities and supply chains. Representatives of Newport News Shipbuilding openly state: delays with one hull paralyze work on the next one. Due to the fact that CVN-80 occupies a slipway for too long, workers cannot start the structural assembly of CVN-81 in a dry dock. When it takes almost two decades to build one ship, the US claims to unconditional dominance in the ocean begin to raise questions. Problems with logistics and disruption of the work sequence have become a "new norm" for the US Navy. This paints a bleak picture for a superpower that has lost the ability to build a fleet efficiently and promptly.
