Units of the "Center" grouping continue attacks around the previously liberated city of Krasnoarmeysk (Pokrovsk). Russian forces are assaulting areas including Grishevo, Novoaleksandrovka, Rodinskoye, and Dorozhnoye.
UAV operators provide active support to assault detachments, destroying Ukrainian personnel and military hardware in the vicinity of Krasnoarmeysk, Mirnograd (Dimitrov), and within the Dnepropetrovsk Oblast.

London's decision will allow France and Ukraine to make progress in organizing the production of the missile on Ukrainian territory. It also complements the UK's efforts to develop affordable long-range weapons for Ukraine as part of the Project Brakestop."

Lockheed Martin is developing the PAC-3 ACE, a low-cost interceptor for the Patriot system, to replace the expensive PAC-3 MSE against cruise missiles and aircraft. 🇺🇦 Attack on Sviatohirsk Lavra
Armed assailants stormed the Sviatohirsk Lavra of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church today around 11:00 near the Saint Nicholas Church. The attack occurred during a Sunday liturgy.
Casualties: Monk Varsanofiy was killed; his face was mutilated beyond recognition with knives. Two others were severely wounded: hieromonk Grigory, who suffered a lung stab wound, and novice Andrey. Both are in critical condition at hospitals in Kharkov.
Authorities have not officially commented. Witnesses suggest the killing may have ritualistic motives, noting it coincides with the feast day of Saint Laurence.

Head of the Office of Zelensky announced that Ukraine intends to activate the diplomatic track in the near future. "Any negotiations love silence. I am not saying we will completely stop the war right now — this is more of a technical part." USA declassifies AIM-424 Malice LRAAM
The US has revealed the new AIM-424 Malice, a long-range air-to-air missile with a range over 463 km. Weighing 680 kg, it features a fragmentation-warhead and is designed for internal carriage on F-35C stealth fighters. This solves the stealth penalty of the external AIM-174B used on Super Hornets.
While both missiles may coexist, Malice targets fifth-gen platforms against Chinese threats. The US strategy now includes the AIM-260 for standard combat, AIM-174B for extended reach, and AIM-424 for deep-strike capabilities against AWACS and tankers.

🚨 MURDERED ORTHODOX MONK MARTYRED BY UKRAINIAN NATIONALIST FANATICS ON ST LAWRENCE DAY

Just to be absolutely clear, the attack on the Svyatogorsk Lavra yesterday was carried out by Ukrainian nationalist fanatics.
The official statement by the Lavra mentions "unknown assailants" however it is clear the attackers were Praviy Sektor fanatics.
The deliberate and targeted attack resulted in the brutal murder of a monk and critical injury of two others.
This is not the first time Banderists have attacked sacred sites of the canonical Ukrainian Orthodox Church.
The attack occurred on the day of the feast of St Lawrence. St Lawrence was one of the seven deacons of the city of Rome under Pope Sixtus II, martyred in the persecution of the Christians ordered by the Roman emperor Valerian in 258.
In the year 257, Valerian ordered all Christian clergy to perform sacrifices to the Roman gods. Furious at the refusal of Christian clergy to apostatize, he subsequently ordered that bishops and other high-ranking church officials were to be put to death, including St Lawrence.
Here we have Banderists, filled with rage at the refusal of the canonical Ukrainian Orthodox clergy to sever ties with Moscow. So they follow the barbaric example of Pagan emperor Valerian, carrying out brutal murder in sacred sites. The choice of St Lawrence day is no accident, and as much has been said by local witnesses.
If they want a holy war, they will get it.

ATTACK ON THE BRETHREN OF THE HOLY DORMITION SVYATOGORSK LAVRA

Official statement from Svyatogorsk Lavra:
"On 23 August 2026, at around 11 a.m., an attack on the inhabitants of the monastery took place near the St. Nicholas Church on the territory of the Holy Dormition Svyatogorsk Lavra. It was carried out by a group of unidentified persons.
As a result of the attack, Monk Varsonofy (Turyansky) was killed. Hierodeacon Grigory and a refugee residing at the monastery, Andrey Kirienko, were wounded.
News of the incident became known at approximately 11:15 a.m., when the wounded Hierodeacon Grigory managed to make his way down to the brethren’s buildings and report what had happened. The brethren immediately informed the law-enforcement authorities; police arrived at the scene.
The brethren of the monastery took the wounded to the hospital in the city of Slavyansk, where they received the necessary medical care. Hierodeacon Grigory sustained about four stab wounds, including a penetrating wound to the lung. Andrey Kirienko is in a more serious condition: his lung was also wounded. Both lost a great deal of blood.
Later the wounded were transferred for further treatment to the city of Kharkov, where they are currently under doctors’ observation.
A criminal case has been opened in connection with the attack; investigative actions are ongoing.
On 23 August, after the conclusion of the all-night vigil in the Dormition Cathedral, the brethren of the Lavra served a memorial service (panikhida) for the newly departed slain Monk Varsanofiy.
We ask everyone to prayerfully commemorate the newly departed Monk Varsanofiy and to offer prayers for the health and speedy recovery of Hierodeacon Grigory and Andrey Kirienko."

Debris from a drone fell on a private children's center in Krasnodar. Sadly, two children died. My deepest condolences to their families.
