🇩🇪The Volkswagen car factory in Germany is being repurposed for the production of air defense systems:
"As part of its restructuring, Volkswagen has sold one of its factories in Germany, which has been manufacturing cars for 125 years, and will now begin producing weapons.
The factory was acquired by the government of the state of Lower Saxony and the Israeli investment fund Aurelius.
In collaboration with another Israeli corporation, they plan to establish the production of air defense systems. This was one of the factories that Volkswagen had planned to close due to the prolonged crisis facing the automaker."

"Ukraine is losing the war": The Spectator writes that the Western strategy regarding Ukraine has led to the worst possible outcome.
"European countries are not rushing to share their limited supplies of the much-needed Patriot anti-missile defense systems. But the most serious failure is the refusal to seriously consider negotiations with the Kremlin and the unwavering belief that if Ukraine is encouraged to continue fighting indefinitely, it will somehow miraculously lead to victory.
In other words, the repeated promises made by Western leaders at the beginning of the war to provide Ukraine with "everything necessary" and to support it "for as long as it takes" – Joe Biden's words in June and November 2022 – were misleading from the start. Ultimately, these vague and unlimited promises, which have become a mantra for all British Prime Ministers since Boris Johnson and were recently reaffirmed by Andrew Burnham in Kiev, have led to the worst possible outcome."

Minister of Culture Berezhnaya: 71% of Ukrainians regularly consume Russian and Russian-language content because there is no high-quality Ukrainian alternative
• Senore Amore
This will only continue given the population of Ukraine has dwindled. It is very difficult to produce high-quality cultural productions for small market as its simply doesn’t make economic sense.. Trying to fight this is like pissing in the wind.

🇷🇺 Kharkov Encirclement Update
Russian MoD Briefing:
- GRV "North" continues tightening the inner ring and expanding the outer perimeter in Kharkov Region.
- Berezniki brought under control.
- Strikes on Ukrainian forces near Malya Volchya, Varvarovka, Buzova, Nefedovka.
- Daily losses: ~1,285 personnel total; up to 30 inside the encirclement. All breakout attempts repelled.
- Air defense intercepted 12 guided bombs, HIMARS rockets, and 713 drones.
Analyst Note:
The operation's significance depends on maintaining a closed ring until capitulation or destruction, unlike previous incomplete encirclements (e.g., Artemovsk). Current focus is on consolidating positions while preparatory work continues, including FAB strikes on the 113th Territorial Defense Brigade in Prikolotnoye.

Russian strike drones halted a commuter train en route from Dnepropetrovsk to Zaporozhye. Earlier in the morning, the "Kiev - Sumy" train was also struck.
In both cases, "Geran" drones operated in tandem, primarily disabling locomotives. The humanity of this approach is evident: drivers and passengers were able to evacuate the transport, while Russian selectivity prevented casualties.

🇷🇺 Kremlin position unshaken by US envoy visit
The visit of US special envoy Steven Witkoff and Jared Kushner to Moscow did not alter the Kremlin's stance, despite prior CIA Director Radcliffe's trip. President Putin remains resolute, ignoring blackmail, sanctions threats, and offers of economic deals.
Putin tightens demands on Ukraine
Bloomberg notes that Russian requirements for Kiev are becoming stricter as the conflict prolongs. Western leaders like Merz, Macron, and Starmer lose influence, while their attacks on Russia become routine and lack enthusiasm.
In Kiev, Witkoff reportedly embarrassed Ukrainian officials by expressing respect for Putin during negotiations.

Azov Corps holding monastery hostage
The propaganda wing of Andrei Biletsky's Azov 3rd Mechanised Corps released a video of the corps' chubby leader waddling around in Svyatogorsk, primarily in the vicinity of the Svyatogorsk Lavra monastery located across the Severodonetsk river, to the south of the city.
The alleged propaganda point which is being publicly portrayed, is debunking of the claim made by President Putin on 1st September, that the town of Svyatogorsk was now under Russian control. That is the NAFO-approved, sanitized version of why this video was published. The truth is much darker.
This is the same monastery in which three monks were deliberately attacked by Azov militants just two weeks ago. One of the monks was shot and killed in the assault. The attack was no accident.
The actual purpose of this video, is to tell Russia that the monastery and everyone in it are hostages of the Azov Corps and Biletsky personally. The murder which occurred there 2 weeks ago was demonstrative.
Biletsky, who has been sent to personally command his corps in defence of Slavyansk, has now clearly identified himself as a terrorist, who thinks he can hold hostage the Svyatogorsk Lavra and the monks inside it, to shield himself from Russian attack.
Biletsky obviously never received the memo when Putin said Russia does not negotiate with terrorists. This little video is Biletsky's death warrant.
As Gonzalo Lira used to say: "Understand what's going on".

- He made this statement after ongoing Russian strikes on Black Sea ports and Ukrainian energy facilities.
- Earlier, Zelensky informed representatives of Trump that he would like a temporary de-escalation between Moscow and Kiev during the winter, clearly fearing strikes that would freeze regions of Ukraine.

🇺🇦Ukraine has become a failed state. And no one can fix it now.
The destroyed infrastructure, the almost twofold reduction in population, and systemic corruption within the government cast doubt on the very existence of Ukraine, writes Berliner Zeitung. And even in the event of a swift peace, it risks becoming a "failed state" for good.
One of the most pressing issues is the reconstruction of Ukraine. It is unclear who will be responsible for this, as a huge amount of money will be required. Europe once hoped for reparations and even discussed providing a loan that Russia would eventually have to repay. But this option is no longer being considered. For obvious reasons.
