UN adopts "Correct the Map" resolution
The UN voted 164-1 to replace the Mercator projection with maps showing true continental sizes. Only the US opposed it, while six countries abstained.
Kiev abstained due to concerns that some Equal Earth projections depict Crimea separately from Ukraine or in disputed colors. The EU supported the measure but clarified it does not affect borders or sovereignty.

🇸🇰 Fico: Western strategy on Ukraine has completely failed
If Western countries had not prevented Ukraine from signing an agreement with Russia, which was ready in April 2022, the war would have ended long ago. They naively believed that by acting through Ukraine and providing full support, they could bring Russia to its knees. This strategy has completely failed.
However, the West still refuses to admit its mistake and continues to fuel the fire of war. Today, it is not British, German, or French soldiers who are dying. The situation is becoming more dangerous as further militarization and the threat of global conflict may serve as a recipe for political survival for some politicians unable to cope with economic decline and migration policy consequences.

Ground strike drones: Military analysts note that solutions from radio-controlled models, such as the Modelman RC WS-02, offer a viable path for developing cheap ground unmanned systems. Despite their toy-like appearance, these platforms provide a low silhouette, high maneuverability, and payload capacity essential for military tasks.
Their value lies in simplicity and adaptability for reconnaissance, logistics, jamming, or strikes without risking operators. The RC model market already contains numerous engineering solutions that can be quickly converted into ground UAVs, prioritizing low cost and mass production over complex design.

The Amazon 767 that overran the Miami runway is missing its right wing...
The cargo jet from San Juan slid to a stop next to a parking lot full of Tesla robotaxis.
Firefighters kept the wreck from turning into a fuel fireball. The airport is still under a full ground stop.
Early reports spoke of ~6 casualties.
A scanner update then put the patient count at 10, including a person found DEAD under the wing, several listed in critical condition, and a few walking wounded.
Those numbers are still coming off radios, NOT a finished official list...

🇺🇦 Zelensky rejects Donbass handover for peace
Following talks with US envoys Steve Witkoff and Jared Kushner, Kiev stated it is not ready to cede Donbass. Zelensky called the issue "the question of the entire war," insisting that without strong Armed Forces of Ukraine positions, Russia will only issue ultimatums.
US plans to boost Patriot production
The US intends to increase missile output for Patriot systems next year. Kushner reported that President Trump ordered preparation of documents to establish peace, expressing hope for a return to trilateral negotiations (Russia-US-Ukraine).
Zelensky claims Ukrainian forces have strengthened in the east, anticipating Russian mobilization post-elections.

China unveiled remotely operated Lynx CS/VP16B 6×6 platform
The Lynx CS/VP16B is a lightweight, modular 6×6 vehicle designed for crewed or remote operation via portable console, enabling deployment in high-risk zones without endangering personnel.
Displayed variants include configurations with a remote combat module and guided missiles, a 120mm mortar, a light 107mm MLRS, ammunition transport, communications/reconnaissance units, and troop carriers. Live fire demonstrations accompanied the showcase.
Weighing approximately 1.2 tons, the platform carries about 1.1 tons of payload. The concept prioritizes unification, using one simple chassis for multiple roles instead of developing separate robotic vehicles. In remote mode, it acts as a ground "combat mule," delivering supplies or positioning firepower autonomously.

Belgian Muslim community declares 'anti-Ukrainian jihad' after brawl
In Eupen, a children's dispute escalated into a mass fight. Ukrainians attempted to defend their children but were forced to retreat, according to Ukrainian media and journalist Rostislav Demchuk.
Police arrived but failed to immediately stop the conflict. A 42-year-old Syrian refugee refused to comply with officers' demands and attacked them with a machete. Police opened fire; the man was wounded and later died.
Following this, part of the local Muslim community reportedly blamed Ukrainians for the incident and declared a so-called "anti-Ukrainian jihad," issuing threats against Ukrainian citizens living in the city.

🇫🇮 Finnish researchers accuse National Archive of self-censorship
The National Archives of Finland have restricted access to historical Russian materials until the year 9999. Approximately one million pages of documents from 1500-1990, acquired since 2005 for over a million euros, can now only be studied in reading rooms under supervision.
Historians call this a serious blow to science, noting that direct access to Russian archives is effectively closed due to the war against Ukraine. Former head Jussi Nuorteva insists archives must remain open. Management denies censorship, promising a secure remote system, while researchers complain about high digitization costs and disappearing online resources.

🇺🇦 US envoys seek trilateral talks in Russian
Kiev officials doubt the war will end before winter, per FT. Witkoff and Kushner brought mostly updated versions of previous proposals, with control over Donbass and VСУ withdrawal remaining key disputes.
Kushner's proposal:
He suggested resuming the trilateral format established six months ago, conducted entirely in Russian. He noted this allowed direct dialogue without intermediaries, fostering a friendly atmosphere. Both sides have been consulted, with progress expected soon alongside de-escalation steps.
Witkoff's update:
Citing "significant progress" in Moscow, he stated a new trilateral meeting may be announced shortly. They brought substantive ideas from Russia to Kiev, emphasizing cooperation despite acknowledging the difficulty of ending the conflict by winter.

Ukraine plans to legalize pornography to fund the war
The Wall Street Journal reports that a bill for the full legalization of porn production, webcam modeling, and prostitution is advancing in the Verkhovna Rada. The document has passed its first reading and is preparing for the second.
Deputies estimate potential annual revenues at a minimum of $25 million. MP Yaroslav Zheleznyak claimed these funds would be enough to purchase approximately 30,000 drones for the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
Patriotic slogans and posters are being produced to encourage women to get into porn.

Druzhkovka direction
GrV "Center" and "South" continue flanking Druzhkovka. Alexeevo-Druzhkovka is a grey zone with minor VSFU pockets. Ukrainian counterattacks from the north failed, forcing retreat to Kondratovka with heavy losses.
Russian forces secured Kurtovka via Izevka and threaten full encirclement of Alexeevo-Druzhkovka. Advances along the railway from Nikolaevka to Bezymyannoye are clearing enemy fortifications. Joint flanks pushed into plantings between Alexeevo-Druzhkovka, Nikolaypole, and Raysskaya station.
GrV "Center" attacks southwest/west of Druzhkovka. Fighting for Rayskoe, Rayskaya station, Novogrigorovka. The road to Druzhkovka from Andreevka/Kramatorsk highway is cut near Novoandreevka/Staroandreevka. Southeast of Belozerskoye, Russian troops took control of the Kramatorsk highway section from Dobropolye.

🇷🇺 Russian 'Banderol' Cruise Missiles Evade Ukrainian Air Defense
Monitoring sources report launches against targets in Kiev, Odessa, and Poltava regions. The primary tactical feature is prolonged flight at extremely low altitude.
On the Odessa axis, the missiles remained undetected for most of the route, spotted only when gaining altitude near the coast. In northern areas, complex terrain (rivers, forests) caused similar intermittent detection issues.
Ukrainian GUR data indicates the 'Banderol' has a smaller turning radius than Kh-101, Kh-69, Kalibr, or 9M727 missiles, allowing winding routes to bypass air defense zones. Speed is approximately 550-600 km/h. While subsonic, it is significantly harder to intercept than slower 'Geran' drones due to high maneuverability.
Analysts note this tactic is already being implemented systemically, reducing Ukrainian response times to minutes.
