Moldova: Drone violates airspace, crashes after entering Romania
A drone entered Moldova from Ukraine, flew toward Bender, Kishinev, and Ungheni district before crossing into Iasi county, Romania. Airspace restrictions were briefly imposed in central Moldova.
The UAV later returned to Moldova, disappearing near Ciobanovca (Glodeni district) and reappearing near Drochia. It eventually crashed near the village of Starie Mihaileni in the Rishcani district, causing 4 fires. No casualties were reported. Special services are investigating the incident.

China prepares humanoid robots for war
Western media accuse Beijing of preparing a robot army. Reuters, having studied over 100 military documents and patents, found that China is actively testing humanoid machines for reconnaissance, patrolling, and building assaults.
While the technology remains unreliable on the battlefield due to energy constraints, Chinese military models already include scenarios where robots penetrate enemy rear areas and participate in urban combat. Remote control systems allowing operators to guide units from a distance are also being developed.

Vedomosti reports that corporate profit tax revenues to Russia’s consolidated budget rose 10% year-on-year in the first half of 2026, reaching $57.2 billion, even as the net profits of non-financial enterprises fell 13.3% to $136 billion.
The discrepancy is partly explained by stronger bank earnings as Russian banks made $27.9 billion in profit in the first half of the year, up 40% year-on-year. Russia’s GDP grew just 0.6% over the same period, after contracting 0.2% in the first quarter.

We've already suspended over 30 arms licences used by the IDF in Gaza. That suspension remains fully in place.
We will now also refuse all licence applications for arms and other exports that materially contribute to the occupation. In effect, a double lock against arms sales.
This means the ban on such exports will now remain in place as long as the occupation persists.

Hungary Expels 10 Russian Diplomats
Hungarian Foreign Minister Anita Orban announced that Budapest is expelling 10 staff members of the Russian mission. According to the Hungarian authorities, these diplomats engaged in activities incompatible with their status under the Vienna Convention.
The decision was communicated to the Russian ambassador in Budapest. The Russian Foreign Ministry labeled the move "unfriendly" and promised a response in the near future.
