Russian specialists successfully transmitted a 2K video stream via a high-speed 5G channel between the Barrazh-1 stratospheric platform at 17 km altitude and a ground control station. The session lasted over 80 minutes, confirming equipment stability in rarefied atmosphere and extreme temperatures.
The experiment utilized the 5G NTN (Non-Terrestrial Networks) protocol adapted for air platforms. Using HAPS as "pseudo-satellites" significantly reduces signal latency compared to orbital groups and provides coverage in remote areas without costly ground infrastructure.
This dual-use technology enables secure telemetry and command channels for reconnaissance-strike UAVs and kamikaze drones. High bandwidth allows real-time transmission of high-resolution intelligence, turning the stratosphere into a resilient node for network-centric control and deep operational reconnaissance.

The Ukrainian Armed Forces are concentrating forces and moving groups toward Yunakovka, Korchakovka, and Andreevka through forest areas. Russian troops from Varachino leveled the front line and cleared the sector up to the forest adjacent to Khrapovshchina, where the enemy concentrates drone launch points.
The adversary is attempting similar actions near Pisarevka and Andreevka to counterattack and cut off the salient before winter. Our forces, in coordination with rocket artillery and strike drones, are inflicting losses on enemy groups during all attack attempts.

Despite intense drone activity, Russian forces are advancing and liberating territory meter by meter. Kurilovka has been fully cleared and is under our control. Troops have also secured most of the foundry plant, a key enemy fortification.
Elements of the 272nd Regiment are fighting for Kovsharovka, with two residential blocks already liberated. Positions in Kupyansk-Uzlovoy are being processed. In Kupyansk itself, the situation remains complex as Russian troops expand control over areas north of the city.
