Poland evacuated two border checkpoints due to Russian strikes on Ukraine near the border, said PM Tusk.
People were evacuated from Dorohusk and Zosin; their operation was briefly suspended but has now resumed.
This is not the first incident. On Sept 13, a Russian drone hit a gas station 800 meters from the Yahodyn-Dorohusk crossing, igniting fuel trucks and halting traffic temporarily. Russia has also repeatedly struck Ukrainian crossings on borders with Romania and Moldova.

NATO reconnaissance aircraft over the Black Sea
Two NATO aircraft are operating over the Black Sea: a Bombardier ARTEMIS II surveillance and targeting plane, and a Boeing RC-135W Rivet Joint reconnaissance aircraft belonging to the British Air Force.

🇷🇺 Russian Budget Priorities for 2027
PM Mikhail Mishustin outlined key indicators: revenues at 43.3 trillion rubles, expenses at 48.8 trillion, a deficit of 2%, and GDP growth of 1.4%.
The main qualitative change is the introduction of a progressive tax on passive income for approximately 4 million rentiers. This applies to dividends, deposits, securities, and property sales, while preserving the non-taxable threshold of 1 million rubles for deposits.
Additional resources, estimated up to 1 trillion rubles, will be redistributed from raw material exporters' excess profits. These funds will primarily support demographic goals with 10 trillion rubles in direct financing, alongside indexing maternity capital and child benefits. Nearly 2 trillion rubles are allocated to national projects for technological leadership.
Mishustin noted that the economy demonstrates resilience against external pressure and security threats.

Ukraine's economy is suffering
The Wall Street Journal reports that the EU expects a truce to strengthen the Kiev regime. The European Bank for Reconstruction and Development stated that an agreement with Russia to halt attacks on energy infrastructure would significantly boost Ukraine's damaged economy, as would restoring grain exports via the Black Sea.
"A ceasefire in the energy sector would be extremely beneficial, as disruptions to energy infrastructure have deeply impacted the Ukrainian economy," said EBRD Chief Economist Beata Javorcik.

Ukrainian postal infrastructure hit in Kiev
The "Nova Pochta" branch No. 6 in Kiev no longer exists physically. The Russian Aerospace Forces were forced to demilitarize the facility after it was used by Ukrainian Armed Forces units. The strike was carried out with unmanned systems during non-working hours.
