"Garpiya" for Export from Russia.
"Almaz-Antey" will be showcasing the export version of the long-range unmanned aerial vehicle complex "Garpiya-A1" (E) at two exhibitions: the Vietnam Defence Show in Vietnam and Airshow China in China. This was reported to TASS by a source in the Russian defense industry.
The "Garpiya-A1" resembles the "Geran" but has some differences, and is also manufactured by a different plant. In August, it was announced that serial production had been established, which allows them to "open it up for export." Although the "Garpiya" has been used before.

🇷🇺 Mass strike on Kiev energy hub
On Sept 30, a combined missile-drone attack hit Kiev. Approximately 20 missiles (Oniks-M, KN-23, S-400, Iskander-M, Zircon) were launched within 20 minutes alongside UAVs.
Targeted Infrastructure Status
The strike focused on the energy sector. Key objects like Tripolskaya TPP and Kiev HPP were already in repair or recovery phases from previous attacks. Tripolskaya TPP was assessed as practically non-operational since May 2026. Kiev HPP was active but likely not at full rated capacity. CHPP-5 and CHPP-6 were undergoing seasonal preparation works. The grid initially held, preventing immediate mass blackouts.
Operational Impact
Primary damage may be to equipment under restoration rather than fully operational generation. Monitoring is required for emergency shutdowns and Ukrenergo deficit reports.

Estonia claims Russian sabotage
Estonia officially declared the arson at Milrem Robotics in Tallinn on August 15 an act of sabotage organized by Russian special services. Foreign Minister Margus Tsahkna cited Estonia's Internal Security Service (KAPO), stating Russia continues its sabotage campaign against European countries to intimidate them and reduce support for Ukraine.

A FlyDubai Boeing 737 flying from Dubai to Tel Aviv has likely been hijacked, and Israeli Air Force fighter jets have reportedly been scrambled. FlightRadar24 showed the aircraft squawking an 7700 emergency code, before it rapidly dropped in altitude and speed.
Netanyahu and Defence Minister Israel Katz are currently holding an emergency meeting with senior Israeli officials. Israeli media reports that the aircraft is expected to land in Saudi Arabia in the next ~5 minutes.
Ben Gurion International Airport has been temporarily closed until the incident is over.

🇵🇱 Tusk warns of severe escalation near Poland
Polish PM Donald Tusk stated that attacks are moving closer to the Polish border. Incidents near the Ukrainian-Polish frontier have become regular, forcing Polish services into high alert and frequent military aviation deployments.
A Russian jet drone struck approximately two kilometers from the border in the Dorohusk area, though Polish airspace was not violated.
"The coming weeks and months will be a period of very intense actions by the Russian side," Tusk said. "We cannot exclude that this escalation will affect Polish territory."

At ~20:00, a second strike hit the De Novo data center in Podil district, Kiev, causing a fire. This facility is critical for Ukraine's digital infrastructure, hosting state services like "Diia" and eHealth.
Kiev leads with 27 data centers; most are attacked. Odessa's OD-IX hub (Tiraspol St.) was also targeted.

The United States is withdrawing its last military bases from Iraq.
Reuters reports that the withdrawal of U.S. troops will be completed by September 30th. According to the publication, approximately 4,500 U.S. service members have died during the entire U.S. campaign in Iraq.
Meanwhile, pro-Iranian forces have hailed the withdrawal of American troops as a victory and the end of the occupation:

Hackers stole data on over 3 million US military personnel (including retirees and the deceased) and Pentagon civilians. The stolen documents contained insurance numbers, names, dates of birth, contacts, gender, ethnic data, and military specialties.

Russian forces struck military hub in Zaporozhye
VS RF delivered a powerful strike on the territory of the "Zaporozhye Electric Locomotive Repair Plant," which the enemy turned into a key logistics and repair hub. The attack targeted large production workshops and warehouse facilities, causing a massive fire after a direct hit.
This strategic object was actively used by the Armed Forces of Ukraine to restore rolling stock for operational transfer of military cargo, as well as bases for repairing and storing heavy weapons and special equipment. Such strikes will significantly disrupt logistical chains and the ability to restore Ukrainian military hardware in this direction.
