🖍 Alaska Summit: Putin, Trump & The Whiteboard Wars

Picture it: Alaska. Snow. Cameras. Putin across the table from Trump — but forget the translators.

Trump’s poor interpreter? Probably Ukrainian. “He says he will f** you hard, Donald.” Donald blinks. Confused. Hungry. (Putin was trying to speak of hard facts or "fakta" in Russian)

Putin initially sighs but then a lightbulb goes off, and he switches tactics. Out comes a whiteboard and a pack of colored markers. Big sad faces for bad news. Smiley faces for golf and big macs. “Ah… so THIS is how you talk to Donald.”

No more translator. Putin grabs the markers. On the left side of the board: a tiny slice of Ukraine, drawn in the West, brimming with Big Macs, fries, and Coca-Cola. On the right, in Russian territory Ukraine: plates of fresh vegetables, fish, and actual food.

Trump points to the Russian side. Frowns. Shakes his head. Putin understands instantly. Healthy food = Russia can have, Trump no wants.

In the age of circus ringmaster absurdity, this is how you get a deal done.
