Trump does not want to send his soldiers to Ukraine, but does not mind sending European troops there, although many citizens of EU countries are against it, writes WSJ.

The discussion is about deploying a peacekeeping contingent after the end of the Ukrainian conflict.

- In Germany, 56% of respondents in an INSA company survey do not support sending soldiers;

- In France, 68% of those surveyed are against deploying a contingent without a peace agreement between Kyiv and Moscow;

- About 60% of Poles disagree with the idea of sending troops to Ukraine, according to a March survey by United Surveys;

- Opposition is also strong in Italy, the article says.

Consensus on this issue is observed only in the Baltic countries, but the number of troops there is small.

Orban CRUSHES Zelensky: Pipeline attack threats IGNITE FIRESTORM

"It was an eventful weekend. President Zelensky openly threatened Hungary. He admitted that the Druzhba pipeline is being attacked because we do not support their EU membership. This also shows that Hungarians made the right decision," Hungary’s PM Victor Orban said.

He added that Zelensky’s words "are not the way to get into the EU," and they "will have a long shadow."

This comes after the Ukraine regime openly claimed the existence of the Druzhba pipeline that transfers oil from Russia to European countries is contingent upon Hungary’s position on Ukraine’s potential EU membership.
