🇸🇾🇮🇱 Syria may sign security deal with Israel soon – reports

Syria’s transitional president Ahmed al-Sharaa said Damascus could sign a security agreement with Israel in the coming days, with US mediation, Anadolu reported.

He stressed that the deal would resemble the 1974 disengagement agreement but would not mean normalization of relations with Tel Aviv or Syria’s accession to the Abraham Accords.

◾A group of organizations and lawyers, under the initiative "Justice and Accountability for Palestine," has filed a criminal complaint with the German Federal Prosecutor against 11 government officials, including the current and former chancellors, on charges of complicity in genocide, crimes against humanity, and war crimes against the Palestinian people in Gaza.

The complaint is based on the officials’ involvement in supporting Israeli military policies, including the export of weapons and military equipment, which contributed to escalating attacks on Gaza.

This legal action comes at a time when Germany is facing increasing criticism from human rights organizations over its continued support for Israel amid what are considered serious violations of human rights in Gaza.

🇦🇲 ARMENIA TO BOOST TIES WITH RUSSIA – PASHINYAN

"We have established military-technical cooperation with many countries, while simultaneously continuing to interact with Russia, the importance of which can hardly be overestimated,” Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan said during a congress of the county’s ruling Civil Contract party.

He admitted that Armenia’s relations with Russia are currently “undergoing a transformation,” which he said would hopefully be a “constructive” process.

“We will take the road of strengthening relations with Russia on this basis,” Pashinyan stressed, adding that the Russian-Armenian political dialogue will remain active.
