LENIENCY AND WISDOM IN DA'WAH
ALLĀH says,
كَذَٰلِكَ كُنتُم مِّن قَبۡلُ فَمَنَّ ٱللَّهُ عَلَيۡكُمۡ
You were initially like them; then ALLĀH favoured you ˹with Islam˺.
That is, just as HE guided you after you had been astray, HE may also guide others; just as guidance was a gradual process for you, it may also be like that for others. So the one who is perfect should look at how he was before he was perfect, and think about how he should deal with those who are still like that, on the basis of what he knows about how he was before, and he should call them with wisdom and beautiful preaching. This is one of the most effective ways in which he may benefit himself and others.
{Tafsir As-Sa'di}
Jundab reported: The Messenger of ALLĀH (ﷺ) said, "A man said: 'Wallāhi! ALLĀH will not forgive this person!' ALLĀH Almighty said: 'Who is he who swore by ME that I will not forgive someone? I have forgiven him and erased your good deeds.'" {Muslim #2621}

SOME RULINGS REGARDING VISITING THE GRAVE
Ibn Taymiyyah (may ALLĀH have mercy on him) mentioned:
"Visiting the graves when the intent is to supplicate for the deceased, this is only done for those who died as believers. The type of visiting the graves which is an innovation is when the intent of the visit is to request needs from the deceased, or to request du'a or intercession from the deceased. It is, likewise, an innovation to visit the graves with the intent to supplicate at the gravesite, believing that this will increase the chances for the du'a to be answered. All of these types of visits are innovation and have not been legislated by the Prophet; nor was this done by any of the companions,. The companions did not do this at the grave of the Prophet, nor did they do this at the grave of anyone other than him. This is a category of polytheism, and a means that leads to polytheism.
If the intent is to pray at the graves of the prophets and righteous people, without supplicating to them or supplicating at their graves, then this is to take their gravesites as a place of worship. This is impermissible and prohibited. Whoever does this exposes himself to the wrath of ALLĀH and HIS curse. The Prophet (ﷺ) said:
ALLAH's anger is intense upon the people who take the graves of their prophets as places of worship. {Muwatta Malik #416}
The curse of ALLĀH is upon the Jews and the Christians; they took the graves of their prophets as places of worship. {Abu Dawūd #3227}
Indeed, there were those who came before you, who took the graves of their prophets and righteous people as places of worship. Do not take graves as places of worship. Indeed, I am warning you against that. {Muslim #532}
GOOD NEWS OF ALLĀH'S SUPPORT FOR THE BELIEVERS WHO ADHERE TO THE SUNNAH OF THE MESSENGER (ﷺ)
ALLĀH said,
يَا أَيُّهَا النَّبِيُّ حَسْبُكَ اللّهُ وَمَنِ اتَّبَعَكَ مِنَ الْمُوْمِنِينَ
O Prophet, sufficient for you is ALLĀH and for whoever follows you of the believers.
That is, HE will take care of you and your followers among the believers. This is a promise from ALLĀH to HIS believing slaves who follow HIS Messenger (ﷺ), that HE will suffice them and support them against their enemies.
Therefore if they take proper measures, namely believing and following the Prophet (ﷺ), then HE will inevitably suffice them with regard to that which concerns them of both spiritual and worldly matters. That support is not granted only when its conditions are not met.

THE TIME LIMIT FOR SHAVING THE PUBIC HAIR
It was narrated that Anas ibn Malik (may ALLĀH be pleased with him) said: "A time limit was set for us for trimming the moustache, cutting the nails, plucking the armpit hairs and shaving the pubic hair: that was not to be left for more than forty nights." {Muslim #258}
An-Nawawi (may ALLĀH have mercy on him) commented: As for the time for shaving the pubic hair, the best is to do that when it is needed and the hair has grown long, so when it becomes long, it should be shaved. The same guideline applies to trimming the moustache, plucking the armpit hairs and cutting the nails. Regarding the hadith of Anas that is mentioned in the book – "A time limit was set for us for trimming the moustache, cutting the nails, plucking the armpit hairs and shaving the pubic hair: that was not to be left for more than forty nights" – what it means is: These things should not be left beyond the forty-day deadline; it does not mean that they may be left untouched for forty nights. And ALLĀH knows best.
The phrase "A time limit was set for us" come under the heading of marfu hadiths, like the words "We were instructed to do such and such." It was narrated somewhere other than in Sahih Muslim: The Messenger of ALLĀH (ﷺ) set a time limit for us. And ALLĀH knows best.

ALLĀH IS THE BELIEVERS' GUARDIAN; WHAT AN EXCELLENT GUARDIAN!
ALLĀH says:
قُل لَّن يُصِيبَنَآ إِلَّا مَا كَتَبَ ٱللَّهُ لَنَا
Say, Nothing will ever befall us except what ALLĀH has destined for us.
That is, what HE decreed and wrote in al-Lawh al-Mahfūdh.
هُوَ مَوۡلَانَا
HE is our Protector.
That is, HE is in charge of our affairs both religious and worldly, so we must accept HIS decree, for we have no control over anything.
وَعَلَى ٱللَّهِ فَلۡيَتَوَكَّلِ ٱلۡمُؤۡمِنُونَ
So in ALLĀH let the believers put their trust.
That is, let them rely on HIM to bring that which is in their best interests and ward off harm from them, and let them trust HIM to help them attain what they want, for the one who puts his trust in HIM will never be disappointed. As for the one who puts his trust in anyone other than HIM, he will indeed be disappointed and will not attain what he hopes for.

THE COMMAND TO WORSHIP ALLĀH ALONE AND BE GRATEFUL FOR GUIDANCE
ALLĀH says,
بَلِ ٱللَّهَ فَٱعۡبُدۡ
Rather, worship ALLĀH ˹Alone˺
That is, devote your worship to HIM alone, with no partner or associate
وَكُن مِّنَ ٱلشَّٰكِرِينَ
and be among the grateful for HIS guidance. Just as ALLĀH is to be thanked for worldly blessings, such as physical good health and well-being, granting provision, and so on, HE is also to be thanked and praised for spiritual blessings, such as enabling one to be sincere and to fear HIM. In fact it is spiritual blessings that are real blessings. Pondering and realising that they come from ALLĀH and giving thanks to HIM for them will protect one from self-admiration that affects many people who strive hard, because of their ignorance. Otherwise, if a person were to understand the reality of things, he would not develop self-admiration because of the blessing which requires him to give more thanks to ALLĀH.

REMINDER: FASTING AL-AYYĀM AL-BĪD (THE WHITE DAYS) FOR SAFAR 1448AH
The white days of the month refer to the 13th, 14th, and 15th of each lunar month. The moon is at its fullest and most luminous during this period. Fasting on these days is sunnah, mentioned in various hadith.
Abu Dharr said: The Messenger of ALLĀH ﷺ said to me: "If you fast any part of the month, then fast the 13th, 14th, and 15th." {An-Nasai #2424}
Abdullāh ibn 'Amr ibn al-'As said: The Messenger of ALLĀH ﷺ said to me: "It is sufficient for you to fast three days every month because, for every good deed, you will have ˹the reward of˺ ten like it, so that will be like fasting for a lifetime." {Al-Bukhārī #1874}
Abu Hurayrah said: "My close friend (the Prophet ﷺ) advised me to do three things which I will not give up until I die: fasting three days of each month, praying Duha, and sleeping after Witr." {Muslim #721}
FASTING DATES:
28th (Tuesday), 29th (Wednesday) and 30th (Thursday) of July in Nigeria and South Africa
And,
27th (Monday), 28th (Tuesday) and 29th (Wednesday) of July Saudi Arabia.

THE COMMAND TO BE STEADFAST
ALLĀH says,
فَاصْبِرْ إِنَّ وَعْدَ اللَّهِ حَقٌّ
Be patient! Indeed, the promise of ALLĀH is truth.
That is, there is no doubt concerning it. This is something that should help one to be patient, for if he knows that his effort will not be wasted and he will in fact find it rewarded in full, what he encounters of hardship will become insignificant, and it will become easier for him to bear every difficulty.
وَلَا يَسْتَخِفَّنَّكَ الَّذِينَ لَا يُوقِنُونَ
Do not let those who lack certainty of faith discourage you.
That is, their faith is weak and their certainty is lacking, therefore they are lacking in reason and patience. So beware lest they discourage you, for if you are not cautious and do not take precautions, they will discourage you and cause you to not be steadfast in adhering to the commands and prohibitions, and your own inclinations may help them in that, because one may be inclined to be like them and be in agreement with them.
{Tafsir As-Sa'di}
THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN MANIY, MADHIY, AND WADIY AND THEIR RULINGS
Shaykh Ibn 'Uthaymin (may Allah have mercy on him) said,
"The difference between maniy and madhiy is that MANIY is thick and has a smell; it gushes out in spurts when desire is intense. As for MADHIY, it is a thin liquid that does not smell like maniy; it does not gush out, and it is not emitted when desire is intense; rather it is emitted after desire cools down, and when it cools down, the man becomes aware of it.
As for WADIY, it is a liquid that is emitted after urinating; it is white drops that come when one has finished urinating.
This has to do with the nature of these three things.
With regard to the rulings on them, WADIY comes under the same rulings as urine in every regard.
MADHIY differs somewhat from urine in the way in which the individual purifies himself from it, because its impurity (najasah) is milder; therefore it is sufficient to sprinkle water on it, which means making the water reach everywhere it got onto, without the need to wring out the garment or rubs it. Similarly, he must wash his entire penis and testicle, even if it did not get onto them.
As for MANIY, it is pure (tahir) and it is not required to wash whatever it got onto, except by way of removing its traces only, and it necessitates ghusl. As for MADHIY, WADIY and URINE, they all necessitate wudu."

SUMMARY OF THE PROPHET'S HIJRAH (2/7)
2️⃣. The Prophet Leaves for Madīnah
The Messenger of ALLĀH (ﷺ) came to Abu Bakr (may ALLĀH be pleased with him) around midday at a time when he did not usually come to him while concealing himself, and said to him: "Get those who are with you out." Abu Bakr said: "They are only you family, O Messenger of ALLĀH." He (ﷺ) said: "ALLĀH has granted me permission to leave." Abu Bakr said: "Companionship, O Messenger of ALLĀH?" The Messenger of ALLĀH (ﷺ) said: "Yes." Abu Bakr said: "May my father and mother be sacrificed for you! Then take one of these two riding camels of mine." The Messenger of ALLĀH (ﷺ) said: "For a price."
He (ﷺ) ordered 'Ali (may ALLĀH be pleased with him) to sleep in his bed that night.
Meanwhile, the group from Quraysh gathered, watching through the crack of the door and lying in wait for him, intending to attack him during the night while deciding which of them would carry out the deed.
Then the Messenger of ALLĀH (ﷺ) came out to them, took a handful of sand from the open ground, and threw it over their heads while they could not see him, reciting:
وَجَعَلۡنَا مِنۢ بَيۡنِ أَيۡدِيهِمۡ سَدًّا وَمِنۡ خَلۡفِهِمۡ سَدًّا فَأَغۡشَيۡنَٰهُمۡ فَهُمۡ لَا يُبۡصِرُونَ
And WE placed before them a barrier and behind them a barrier, so We covered them, and they could not see. (36:9)
INVOCATION UPON THE MESSENGER OF ALLĀH ﷺ ON FRIDAY
It was narrated that Aws ibn Aws said: The Messenger of ALLĀH ﷺ said:
"One of the best of your days is Friday. On it, Adam was created and on it he died. On it the Trumpet will be blown and on it all of creation will swoon. So send a great deal of blessings upon me on that day, for your blessings will be shown to me."
They said: O Messenger of ALLĀH, how will our blessings upon you be shown to you when you have turned to dust?
He ﷺ said: "ALLĀH has forbidden the earth to consume the bodies of the Prophets."
{Abu Dawūd #1047}
The points which are to be understood from the above hadeeth are:
1⃣ The bodies of Prophets never become decayed, because the earth cannot consume them;
2⃣ They are alive in their graves but not in the same sense as they were in this world. The correct creed is, that Muslims must believe that the Prophets are alive, but what kind of life they live is unknown, and we are not to inquire about it;
3⃣ There is no evidence which can prove that they hear the speech and salutations made to them directly. However, what is clearly mentioned in the hadeeth is, that ALLĀH has appointed the angels to collect the speech and salutations from the people, and bring it to the Messenger of ALLĀH As the following hadeeth explains,
It is reported that the Messenger of ALLĀH ﷺ said:
"ALLĀH has angels who travel about in the earth and convey to me greetings from my people."
{Nasā'i #1282}
It is the duty of the angels to carry the invocations of the people to the Messenger of ALLĀH. Therefore, there is no need for anyone to go to the grave of the Messenger of ALLĀH. In fact, the Messenger of ALLĀH disliked gatherings being made at his grave, as it is mentioned in the hadeeth,
Abu Hurayrah reported that he had heard the Messenger of ALLĀH ﷺ say,
"Do not turn your houses into graves, and do not make my grave a place to gather for visitation, but invoke blessings upon me, for your blessing will reach me wherever you are."

ALLĀH'S GUARANTEE OF PROVISION FOR ALL CREATURES
ALLĀH says:
لَا نَسْأَلُكَ رِزْقًا نَّحْنُ نَرْزُقُكَ
WE do not ask you for provision; WE provide for you
That is, your provision is due from US and WE guarantee it, just as WE guarantee the provision of all creatures, so how about one who complies with OUR commands and focuses on remembering US? The provision of ALLĀH is guaranteed to all, both those who fear HIM and others, so we should focus our attention on that which will bring eternal happiness, which is piety or fear of ALLĀH.
{Tafsir As-Sa'di}
Abu Umamah reported: The Messenger of ALLĀH (ﷺ) said: "Verily, the Holy Spirit inspired in my mind that a soul will never die until it finishes its term and consumes its provision. Thus, be graceful in seeking provision, and let not one of you allow the delay of provision to compel him to seek it by disobedience. Verily, ALLĀH does not grant what is with HIM but by obedience to HIM." {Ḥilyat al-Awliyā #14924}

THE FIRST DEED TO BE ACCOUNTED FOR IS SALĀH
Abu Hurairah (May ALLĀH be pleased with him) reported: The Messenger of ALLĀH (ﷺ) said, "The first of man's deeds for which he will be called to account on the Day of Resurrection will be Salāh. If it is found to be perfect, he will be safe and successful; but if it is incomplete, he will be unfortunate and a loser. If any shortcoming is found in the obligatory Salāh, the Glorious and Exalted RUBB will command to see whether HIS slave has offered any voluntary Salāh so that the obligatory Salāh may be made up by it. Then the rest of his actions will be treated in the same manner." {At- Tirmidhi}
📚 Riyādhus-Saliḥīn #1081
LESSONS AND BENEFITS:
● The great importance of Salāh and its superiority over other acts of worship.
● Salāh is among the first deeds about which a person will be questioned on the Day of Judgment.
● Salāh must be performed with sincerity, presence of heart, and in accordance with the Sunnah of the Prophet (ﷺ) as he (ﷺ) commanded: "Pray as you have seen me pray"
● The individual should continually learn the rulings of Salāh to review his Salāh and correct mistakes before standing for accountability.
● The soundness of a person's Salāh makes his reckoning easy on the Day of Judgment.
● Supererogatory Salāh complement the obligatory ones. So, a wise person would be keen to offer supererogatory Salāh to make up for any deficiency in his obligatory Salāh and to attain the love of his Lord.
● Out of HIS mercy towards HIS servants, ALLĀH has legislated for them supererogatory Salāh as a safeguard and in recognition of the great status of the obligations, and to make up for any deficiency in them.
● There's no safety and success for the one who doesn't offer Salāh.
O ALLĀH! Make us an establiher of Salah, aid us in worshipping YOU in the best way and overlook our shortcomings.

THE TRIALS OF DYING
Shaykh Ibn Uthaymīn (may ALLĀH have mercy on him) said:
"As for the trials of dying; then the scholars have differed concerning it accordance to two opinions:
The first opinion: is that the trials of dying is the questioning of the two Angels of the deceased in his grave with regard to his Lord and his religion and his Prophet. As for he whose Eemaan is pure, then the answer to this will be made easy for him.
So when he is asked: Who is your Lord? He will say: "My Lord is ALLĀH."
Who is your Prophet? He will say: "My Prophet is Muhammad."
What is your religion? He will say: "My religion is Islām." – With every ease.
However; as for other than him, and ALLĀH’s refuge is sought, then when he is asked, he will say: "haah…haah… I do not know, I heard the people say something so I said it."
Observe his saying: "haah…haah" it is as if he knew something and then forgot it.
This is an immense trial, I ask ALLĀH to save me and you from it, since in reality it revolves around what is in the heart, if the heart is believing in reality, then it sees the affairs of the unseen as though with the vision of the eyes, this one will answer with every ease, and if the affair is the opposite then the situation will be the opposite.
The second opinion: is that the intent of the trials of dying is: that which occurs at the point of death at the end of life. The staunchest that Shaytān is devoted to upon misleading the progeny of Aadam is at that moment, and the one rendered safeguarded is the one whom ALLĀH has protected. He comes to him in this critical situation which cannot be comprehended except by he who has encountered it. HE, The Most High said:
كَلاَّ إِذَا بَلَغَتْ التَّرَاقِيَ ، وَقِيلَ مَنْ رَاقٍ ، وَظَنَّ أَنَّهُ الْفِرَاقُ ، وَالْتَفَّتِ السَّاقُ بِالسَّاقِ ، إِلَى رَبِّكَ يَوْمَئِذٍ الْمَسَاقُ
No! When it ˹the soul˺ reaches the collar bone. And it is said; “Who will cure ˹him˺?” And he (the dying one) is certain that it is the ˹time of˺ parting. And the leg is joined with the ˹other˺ leg. To your Lord, on that Day, will be the spur. (75:26-30)
رَبَّنَا لَا تُزِغْ قُلُوبَنَا بَعْدَ إِذْ هَدَيْتَنَا
Our Lord, let not our hearts deviate after YOU have guided us. (3:8)
DISCUSSION OF THE INDIVIDUAL LETTERS AT THE BEGINNING OF SŪRAH
ALLĀH says;
الم (Alif Lam Mim)
The individual letters in the beginning of some Surahs are among those things whose knowledge ALLĀH has kept only for HIMSELF. This was reported from Abu Bakr, Umar, Uthman, Ali and Ibn Mas'ud.
...
So glorious is HE Who made everything subtly reflect HIS wisdom.
Moreover, the scholars said, "There is no doubt that ALLĀH did not reveal these letters for jest and play."
Some ignorant people said that; some of the Qur'an does not mean anything, thus committing a major mistake.
On the contrary, these letters carry a specific meaning. Further, if we find an authentic narration leading to the Prophet that explains these letters, we will embrace the Prophet's statement. Otherwise, we will stop where we were made to stop and will proclaim,
We believe in it; all of it (clear and unclear verses) is from our Lord, (3:7).

THE COMMAND TO ASK ALLĀH OF HIS FAVORS
ALLĀH said,
وَاسْأَلُواْ اللّهَ مِن فَضْلِهِ
And ask ALLĀH of HIS Bounty.
That is, for everything that has to do with your religious or worldly affairs. Doing so is a sign of wisdom and of being blessed, in contrast to the one who fails to strive or relies on himself, not acknowledging his need of his Lord; or those who do both, in which case they are forsaken and are losers.
{Tafsir As-Sa'di}
The Prophet (ﷺ) said: "Let each one of you ask his Lord for his every need, even he should ask HIM for salt, and ask HIM for the strap of his sandal when it breaks." {At-Tirmidhi #3604}

BE MINDFUL OF ALLĀH, HE WILL PROTECT YOU
On the authority of Abu Abbas Abdullah bin Abbas (may Allah be pleased with him) who said:
One day I was behind the Prophet ﷺ [riding on the same mount] and he said,
“O young man, I shall teach you some words [of advice]:
Be mindful of ALLĀH and ALLĀH will protect you. Be mindful of ALLĀH and you will find HIM in front of you.
If you ask, then ask ALLĀH [alone]; and if you seek help, then seek help from ALLĀH [alone].
And know that if the nation were to gather together to benefit you with anything, they would not benefit you except with what ALLĀH had already prescribed for you.
And if they were to gather together to harm you with anything, they would not harm you except with what ALLĀH had already prescribed against you.
The pens have been lifted and the pages have dried.”
It was related by at-Tirmidhi, who said it was a good and sound hadeeth.
Another narration, other than that of Tirmidhi, reads:
“Be mindful of ALLĀH, and you will find HIM in front of you.
Recognize and acknowledge ALLĀH in times of ease and prosperity, and HE will remember you in times of adversity.
And know that what has passed you by [and you have failed to attain] was not going to befall you, and what has befallen you was not going to pass you by.
And know that victory comes with patience, relief with affliction, and hardship with ease.”
{40 Hadith an-Nawawi: Hadith 19}
This hadith imparts the wisdom of leading a tranquil and joyous life through mindfulness of ALLĀH, complete trust in HIM, and devoted worship. Embracing a positive outlook on qadar liberates us from the burdens of constant worry about the future or repercussions of our choices, as we earnestly fulfill ALLĀH'S obligations and gracefully accept HIS divine will.

PRICE FOR TRUE LOVE
Questioner: Someone who loves a person for the sake of ALLĀH, must he say, "I love you for the sake of ALLĀH," to him?
Sheikh Al-Albāni: Yes, but loving for the sake of ALLĀH has a huge price, only very few people pay it. Do you know what the price for loving someone for ALLĀH’s sake is? Do any of you know the price?
Someone present: The Most High said,
By Time! Indeed, mankind is in loss. Except for those who have believed and done righteous deeds and advised each other to truth and advised each other to patience. (Al-Asr: 1-3)
Sheikh Al-Albāni: Well done. That is the answer.
And an explanation of that is that if I really love you for the sake of ALLĀH I would persist in advising you, and you would do the same. Persevering in advising one another is very rare between those who claim to love each other, this love might have some sincerity in it, but it is not complete, because we try to make an allowance for the other, afraid that the other person will become angry, that he will flee … and so on.
It is in light of this that ˹you can see that˺ the cost of loving someone for the sake of ALLĀH is that each person shows sincerity towards the other by advising him, always and forever telling him to do good and preventing him from bad—he is more constant in advising him than that person’s own shadow is close—for this reason it has been authentically reported that when parting from one another, one of the habits of the Companions was that one of them would read to the other,
By Time! Indeed, mankind is in loss. Except for those who have believed and done righteous deeds and advised each other to truth and advised each other to patience. (Al-Asr: 1-3)

PROHIBITING UNFOUNDED SUSPICION
ALLĀH says,
يَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ امَنُوا اجْتَنِبُوا كَثِيرًا مِّنَ الظَّنِّ
O you who believe! Avoid much suspicion
ALLĀH forbids suspicion in most cases, and thinking ill of the believers, because
إِنَّ بَعْضَ الظَّنِّ إِثْمٌ
indeed some suspicion is sin.
Examples include suspicion that is not based on facts and evidence, and thinking ill of a person, which usually leads to saying and doing many things that are prohibited. That is because harbouring bad thoughts does not usually stop there; rather the bad thoughts persist until one says or does something that is not appropriate.
That also includes thinking ill of a Muslim, hating him and showing enmity towards him. What is enjoined is the opposite of that.
Do not spy on one another that is, do not seek out the faults of the Muslims. Leave the Muslim alone and pay no attention to his private affairs which, if they were to be investigated, there would appear of them that which is not appropriate.

THE BLISS OF THE PEOPLE OF JANNAH (PARADISE)
Ibn al-Qayyim (may ALLĀH have mercy on him) said:
"When the people of Jannah will reunite, they will remember all the times they spoke about Jannah in this world. They'll look back and laugh, at how short life was, and then smile, because beautiful is their final abode.
The people of Jannah will have all that they desire. One step into Jannah and they will remember no pain. They will say they never suffered, they will say they never cried.
A dip in Jannah.
Oh how much we long for that moment. The moment where we reunite, we hug our loved ones once again. We forget about all the pain, and thank ALLĀH for all the tests!
How strange does it seem, that these tests which weigh a ton on our chest today will one day elevate us. Elevate us so high, that we will thank ALLĀH. We will thank HIM for testing us, for loving us and for giving us more than anyone could imagine. A place of eternity, vast, beautiful, peaceful.
Everything one can desire.
Be patient, oh beautiful slaves of ALLĀH, for our Lord is more Merciful than a mother is to her child."

The Story of Prophet Nuh (peace be upon him) and his people.
Surah Hud || Verse 36-44
Recited by Saeed al-Khateeb
ETIQUETTES OF SUPPLICATING TO ALLĀH
ALLĀH said,
وَادْعُوهُ خَوْفًا وَطَمَعًا
And call upon HIM with fear and hope
That is, fear of HIS punishment and hope of HIS reward, hoping that one’s deeds will be accepted and fearing that they will be rejected, not offering supplication in the manner of one who thinks that he is entitled to a response from his Lord, filled with self-admiration and raising himself above his station, or in the manner of one who is heedless and not focusing.
To sum up, the etiquette of supplication as mentioned in this verse is that one should be sincere in calling upon ALLĀH alone, which is indicated by offering supplication in private, concealing and hiding it. There should be both fear and hope, with no heedlessness, complacency or not caring about the response. This is part of offering supplication in the proper manner, because doing every act of worship properly means striving one’s best and doing it in a perfect manner with no shortcomings in any way.
{Tafsir As-Sa'di}
THE COMMAND TO DIRECT ALL ACTS OF WORSHIP SOLELY TO ALLĀH
ALLĀH says
فَلَا تَجۡعَلُواْ لِلَّهِ أَندَادًا
So do not set up rivals to ALLĀH,
That is, equals from among HIS creation which you worship as you should worship ALLĀH and love as you should love ALLĀH, although they are created beings like you who receive provision and are under HIS control, having not the slightest power either in heaven or on earth, and they cannot benefit or harm you at all.
وَأَنتُمۡ تَعۡلَمُونَ
when you know better.
That is, when you know that ALLĀH has no partner or equal with regard to the power of creation, granting of provision or control of the universe, and HE has no partner in worship. So how can you worship other gods besides HIM when you know these things? This is something that is very strange and extremely foolish.
{Tafsir Ibn Kathīr}
THE MOST HARMFUL AFFAIR UPON A STUDENT OF KNOWLEDGE
Shaykh Ibn Uthaymīn (may ALLĀH have mercy on him) said:
"...this Is the most harmful of them upon a student of knowledge: That he has no concern except pursuing people's statements with he said this and he said that and with what occurred and what is taking place regarding an issue that is of no concern to him. And there is no doubt that this is from a weakness of ˹his˺ Islām, since the Prophet ﷺ said:
Part of a person's good Islām is to leave alone that which does not concern him. (Ibn Mājah)
AL-WALĪD IBN 'ABD AL-MALIK IS THE ONE WHO INCORPORATED THE PROPHET'S BURIAL CHAMBER INTO THE MOSQUE
Ibn Taymiyah (may ALLĀH have mercy on him) said, explaining that the Salaf did not seek help by means of the Prophet's grave:
"What may confirm this is the fact that when 'Ā'ishah (may ALLĀH be pleased with her) was still alive, the house did not have a small window; rather it was open to the sky and the sun would shine down into it, as it is proven in as-Sahīhayn from 'Ā'ishah that the Prophet (ﷺ) used to pray 'Asr when the sun was in her apartment and the shadow had not yet appeared in her apartment.
The apartment remained like that until al-Walīd ibn 'Abd al-Malik added to the Mosque during his caliphate, when he incorporated the apartment into the Mosque of the Prophet; his governor in Madinah was his paternal cousin, 'Umar ibn 'Abd al-'Azīz. The apartments of the Prophet's wives were to the east of the mosque, towards the qiblah side (the south). al-Walīd instructed 'Umar ibn 'Abd al-'Azīz to buy the apartments from their owners, the heirs of the wives of the Prophet. So they were bought and incorporated into the mosque on the qiblah side of the mosque and on its eastern side. From that time the Prophet's burial chamber was incorporated into the mosque; before that it was outside the mosque, during the lifetime of the Prophet (ﷺ) and after his death. Then he built a high wall around the apartment of 'Ā'ishah (may ALLĀH be pleased with her), in which the grave was, and after that a small window was made in it, through which they could lower down whatever was needed to sweep and clean the chamber."

BEIGN PLEASED WITH ALLĀH'S DECREE AS IT UNFOLDS
It is authentically reported on the authority of Abu Hurairah (may ALLĀH be pleased with) that the Messenger of ALLĀH (ﷺ) said: "Seek what benefits you, and seek help only from ALLĀH and do not lose heart. If any adversity comes to you, do not say: "If I had only acted in such-and-such a way, it would have been such-and-such;" but instead, say:
قَدَرُ اللّٰهِ، وَمَا شَاءَ فَعَلَ
(It is the Decree of ALLĀH and He does whatever HE wills.)
for verily, ˹the word˺ "if" opens the way for the work of Satan."
{Sunan Ibn Majah #79}
Because Islam calls mankind to that which leads to success, prosperity and betterment of society, ALLAH'S Messenger(ﷺ) commanded the Muslims to take part in jihad in ALLAH'S cause; and in order that they might attain the aforementioned blessings - in this life and the Hereafter - he ordered them to accept calamities - which are all from ALLAH'S Qadr with equanimity, and not to become depressed or open the outcome;" for to do so will lead to anger and despair, and these are the works of the devil. Instead he guided them to that which is better and more worthy, which is to say: "ALLĀH (ﷺ) has decreed ˹it˺ and what HE willed HE has done."

REMINDER: FASTING AL-AYYĀM AL-BĪD (THE WHITE DAYS) FOR MUHARRAM 1448AH
The white days of the month refer to the 13th, 14th, and 15th of each lunar month. The moon is at its fullest and most luminous during this period. Fasting on these days is sunnah, mentioned in various hadith.
Abu Dharr said: The Messenger of ALLĀH ﷺ said to me: "If you fast any part of the month, then fast the 13th, 14th, and 15th." {An-Nasai #2424}
Abdullāh ibn 'Amr ibn al-'As said: The Messenger of ALLĀH ﷺ said to me: "It is sufficient for you to fast three days every month because, for every good deed, you will have ˹the reward of˺ ten like it, so that will be like fasting for a lifetime." {Al-Bukhārī #1874}
Abu Hurayrah said: "My close friend (the Prophet ﷺ) advised me to do three things which I will not give up until I die: fasting three days of each month, praying Duha, and sleeping after Witr." {Muslim #721}
It is also worth noting that the month of Muharram is the best month for fasting after Ramadān, as the Prophet ﷺ said: "The best fasting after Ramadān is fasting in the month of ALLĀH, Muḥarram." {Muslim #1163}
Combining the virtue of Muharram with the Sunnah of the White Days makes these days even more significant. Therefore, be keen, be mindful, and eager to take advantage of these blessed opportunities.
