Usborne Experiences?
Does anyone have any experiences with UBAM/PaperPie, on the consultant or consumer level? Even here, people continuously say “it’s not that bad,” “it’s one of the better ones,” etc. I was embarrassingly a consultant and am on my path to healing.
I feel like they’re an example of good product, horrible business method. I do really enjoy the books as they’re sold the normal way everywhere else in the world—if only they would allow people from the US to buy from the UK!!
They keep their circles tight. I truly cannot find a negative thing said about any of their leaders, low stock, failing financials, bad experiences. It’s not frequently mentioned in here, and there isn’t a place to go for validation of a bad experience/recognition of the gaslighting done in their circles.
Would love to hear anybody’s thoughts.

Scamway World Wide Dream Builders (WWDB)
A few weeks ago, I posted my experience with a mystery MLM. Original post:https://www.reddit.com/r/antiMLM/comments/18jbs6c/horror\_story\_in\_the\_silicon\_valley/?utm\_source=share&utm\_medium=web2x&context=3
Majority of my fellow Anti MLMers here had commented that it was indeed, Scamway. So, I did a deep dive into the Scamway rabbit hole and found out that this group is called the World Wide Dream Builders (WWDB) and is somehow linked to Amway. I could not understand the whole concept though because it sounds like I ghosted the recruiters during Stage 1 of the six stage recruitment process. Back when this happened, I thought that mine was an isolated incident and this scam would have just faded away. But, I was wrong. A couple of weeks ago, an Indian International student had posted about a fellow graduate recruiting for this scam. Reading his experience, I figured out that this group is very much active, a lot more aggressive and actively targeting fresh immigrants and students; which frankly is disgusting.
My question here is, What exactly is this WWDB? What do they do? How exactly are they related to Scamway? Does anybody here have more information about this scam? If so, please do comment about your experience.
I was able to find very limited information about this particular group. I wonder why!! Honestly, this whole thing sounds a lot closer to a pyramid scheme than a MLM.

You are not a business owner if you are in a MLM. From a real small business owner
What I do not understand is how these MLM huns call themselves small business owners. They are not any company that requires you to purchase things and recruit is a scam. I am a real business owner. I am a therapist and run my own small private practice. I have to make sure I pay my own taxes, I’m in charge of billing. I have to make sure all of the lights stay on. I also have to make sure that I have my tax id. It’s a lot of work

What is the deal with trauma coaches?
Has anyone else noticed this rise in popularity? I know a woman who is always advertising coaching sessions and her friends’ coaching businesses. She’s constantly posting about “Girl Boss conferences” and using all the therapy buzzwords (“trauma,” “narcissistic abuse,” “fill your cup,” “hold space,” “gaslighting,” etc.) to sell herself as a trauma coach. Here’s the thing… this is brand new, and she doesn’t even have a GED, so this feels very irresponsible to me? Like I know for a fact she has no certifications or degrees to be practicing any kind of therapy. She does coaching and a new podcast. She’s not the most stable and from what I’ve seen of the others she’s advertising (who also coach and have their own podcasts), neither are they. Is this just another brand of the life coach MLMs?

Logan Shippy–Ficasave?
Welp. I got a text from a former coworker that sounds a lot like MLM... and then I see a thread here about the apparent founder, Logan Shippy. Anyone heard of this Ficasave group from Logan? Doesn't show up in the MLM thread.
My former coworker pitched this to me as a referral program that costs nothing to the business, but saves them tons of money, and gets each employee a higher paycheck, and gets me a recurring fee as well. Evidently also getting him a fee too, considering he sent me a referral link with a pitch video about how amazing this program purportedly is.
He wants me to pitch this to a Fortune 500 company that I work for... I have no intention of doing so, given what I'm seeing about Logan, and how sketch this sounds, and seems like it'd be a massive conflict of interest even if it is legit.

That time I was recruited for an MLM
Back in the mid-1990s, while I was home from college during spring recess, a friend from high school invited me to a sales pitch for a MLM scheme. This friend of mine was invited to it by a friend of his, with whom he worked at Costco.
The product was pre-paid phone cards (this was before cell phones were everywhere). It didn't take me long to figure out something was wrong, and I had a noticeable sour look on my face. The Costco friend (a real moron - future NYPD officer - so yeah a real knucklehead) asks me, "Allen, what's the matter? Why don't you want to buy in?" I said, "At what point, are we actually selling the phone cards directly to anyone?" Let's just say I made a few enemies quickly.
Happy New Year, folks!

Brent & Molly
There is an Aussie couple on TikTok signing people up for an affiliate marketing software/course.
You know the ones - The guys does all the talking, and claims they have given up their 9-5 years ago and travel all over the place on their newfound wealth, never been happier blah blah blah.
All the comments are yelling at them, that this is a MLM/scam and he denies it passionately as they "aren't pushing a product" which initially seems true.
After some digging, I can gather its $129/month to access the "software" that runs all the tunneling etc and only requires a few hours a day to maintain. The emphasis being on "there is no selling, we are just converting purchases into commission". "We purposely stayed clear of models that required us to push a product" is their mantra.
So it seems to me, that the "software" is the product. They are getting a cut for each person they sign up, and a cut of the $129 each month as "sponsors of that person"? The kicker is you can only sign up through them, so they are definitely getting some sort of referral. Name of the software is never discussed, so finding out more about that is impossible, and any question they don't like, they just ignore.
Is there any ammo to go back to them with to make them see its a crock and they are in fact part of an MLM?

Narcissistic Optavia cRoach is at it again.
The Optavia hun who was taking pics at a funeral with her clients has gotten even more narcissistic than ever from what I can see from this new post. I wasn't aware that Optavia can keep your significant other from cheating on you, cure cancer and Alzheimers, and fix a whole plethora of problems. There has to be something in those fuelings that makes these huns make such outlandish claims. Or they really are that numb to believe the crap that comes from their mouths. She coaches results with HER plan...
