Credit card mlm?
I was at the bus stop and this guy came a little bit after me, talking on the phone. I was just sitting on the curb listening to music when I noticed him say something and then look at me. I took off my headphones and said "huh?"
And he said "It's a good deal, isn't it?"
Again, having heard nothing, I said "what is?"
"I have a credit card, and if you get one through me you get thirty dollars." That's my best recollection, anyways.
"Is that some kind of pyramid scheme?"
Suddenly, he looked very embarrassed. "No. Well, it's..." he cut himself off and suddenly stopped talking to me.
Anyone know what he was getting at? Why would he think someone at a bus stop would have money for his scam anyways?

Coworker trying to sign people up for Primerica
I'm a team lead at my job and I recently learned one of my coworkers has been going around work asking people to sign up for Primerica.
Today he offered me to sign up and I told him straight up that I think it's a pyramid scheme, at first he act shocked that there's no way it is and tried dissuading me from thinking that and tried to to turn it around that he's only trying to help people and his family, at first maybe I thought I was wrong and that i had judged too harshly.
But after looking into Primerica further it definitely was a pyramid scheme and even worse managed to scam our newest and youngest coworker out of $150 into signing up and it infuriated me, thankfully he realized what it was but he still spent those $150.
Tomorrow I'm gonna tell my boss all that I know what he's been doing and that he's probably violating company policy in doing this too
Sorry about this, I just didn't realize this guy I've known for almost two years was this scummy and needed to vent.

Someone I'm not friends with tagged me on Facebook.
Someone (I assume an upline) just tagged me in a post even though I don't know them and am not their friend. The notification came through as a "tagged with friend" and I thought it was a sweet memory as our boys got on well as toddlers in baby club.
But no, some sh!t about losing weight with a product called "Phat". I've seen her yap on about the "products" you still have to count calories so what's the point?
Anyway, I blocked the unknown uplink. I will block friend if she tries again.

A Mum that I know from nursery has recently signed up to UW as a partner. She tried to give me the whole spiel a month ago when we met up and I just dropped into conversation how my mum’s beautician had started the whole UW
thing and nearly lost my mum as a customer. Now she’s sent me a videonote saying she’d love to meet up and see my kids and tell me
about how much I can save with UW. We aren’t massively close. I’m not sure how to deal with this, I do find it a bit offensive that she’s chosen me to try and sell to and I am massively drama averse. Appreciate any ideas! Thanks

I went down a tik tok rabbit hole of women who are deep into some kind of mlm. Of course they don't say the name. I was on one woman's page but then really the only people commenting were people who were also in the mlm. Her stick is she lives in the holler in West Virginia in a double wide and makes thousands online starting with no followers.
Buzzwords include:

Retire my husband at 28
Multiple streams of passive income
I was made for more
You need a mentor
They want you to buy this guide to be able to make money.

Which MLM do we think it is?
I had a friend trying to sell arbonne for about a year or more, that came to a stop I guess. Now they’re clearly trying to sell something else and they’re spouting off about “financial freedom” and to message them for a “free 15 min zoom call”. No company named. Is there a certain MLM that does this or is it pretty common for a lot of them?

Ewwwww just got to my local crunch gym and theres an Herbalife table set up... I want to say so badly to her that I don't support MLM and wish her luck, but I will refrain unless she gets pushy when I walk out. So sad to see them here. Is Pampered Chef legit an MLM?
Long story short, there’s someone who wants to use my space to hold a fundraiser for a local youth ministry. Except the fundraiser is a pampered chef party. I was asked to approve this but I know whether I do will set a standard for future fundraisers.
I feel very strongly that MLMs are stupid and unethical, but I definitely don’t see the same kind of behavior with pampered chef as I do in other MLMs. Would you consider it one? Do you feel it’s dangerous or harmful?

How to get MLM (Primerica) to stop contacting me for "job opportunities?"
Every time I am called or approached by these people I let them know I am not interested because I am only looking for salaried positions (Nicest way I can put it that I detest their company).
Is there a way to get onto their "do not contact" list or does this not exist? It isn't just a single phone number I can block, and I have to allow unknown numbers to call me for legitimate recruiters, unfortunately. Any help is appreciated, thanks.

Nickole Atkinson Leaves Thrive
Nickole was an integral part of solving Shannon Watts murder. I know initially there was probably a windfall for everybody involved in her up line and downline and her parents even got her 200 K posthumously but last week NA announced, she was moving to shop club/Maleuca. I noticed on a recent announcement that Shannan’s entire up line was in the millionaires club, but none of her downline or her team was so I wonder if that played into it. I hate to see her go to another MLM because it’s an MLM but I understand the need to change and do something different but I would imagine she received a fair amount of orders just from lookie lews so I wonder what happened….
