Greenway and how it can ruin my life
sorry for bad English
Greenway is a Russian-based "universal" MLM company that has a "great goal" of getting rid of super bad chemicals in our daily life and saving our planet from BIG CORP and his dirty-dirty plastic rubbish. They aren't even hiding the fact that they are MLM. This is a brief story how this bs company got in my life
So, half a year ago, my mom started bugging me about getting into some Zoom calls. I already started feeling some bad business, because 2 or 3 years ago our family, including numerous other people, got scammed by getting into a pyramid scheme, called Finiko, they also "recruited" and reassured people that their pyramid scheme is very safe via Zoom calls, so, my mother is known for being scam-prone.
Fast-forward a few weeks, I got sick and my mom started giving some pills that I didn't recognize and they certainly weren't prescripted. Then she gave me some supplements. From omega-3 to some red berry(?) paste in a tube. At this time I already knew we were f-ed.
Since that time we now have Greenway towels, Greenway shampoo, toothpaste, rags, kissel for your heart, herbal tea for your d-ck, EVERYTHING. Even my dad, who is supposed to be "the smart one" of the family is deep into this bs. Worst of all, she hooked my grandma onto this too, and she is a very sick (physically) person, she would probably cling onto her dear life with anything. Man, she even started to go to their company meetings, she is WIRED.
After a quick look at the web, I found a few overwhelmingly negative reviews from 2020-2024, but nothing more. In those reviews people say that their products are too expensive and that for the same price you can get a lot more quality products. Sh-t, they even "giveaway" cars for guys who get the most people into their cult
A few days ago, I heard that my mom entered some kind of lottery for their products, that was the last straw, I dont want our money getting sucked into some bs again.
I am afraid that my family is not going to listen to me, and that my research will be very shallow. The fact that I am not a confident person nor a salesman isnt helping me. That raises another question, how should I present this thing to them?
So, I kindly ask anyone here who saw this post and gave a f-ck about it, please help me, im so very tired. (if anyone here is Russian, please help me out in Russian too, the fact that I wont need to translate anything would be fabulous) (also, I wanted to include some links, but Reddit instantly deleted that post, so sorry for no links)

Tiktok digital marketing/letter writing
I have been seeing a significant increase of people selling courses on Tiktok of “digital marketing” and “letter writing” under the guise of just letting people work remotely. It’s the same course that everyone is selling and everyone is always making $506 exactly every day. This HAS to be an MLM. The course is $600 and you get like a podcast library and the phone number of whoever you bought the course from.
I’m trying to figure out what the course is but from the sound of it, this is an MLM scam right?

WHY?! (just venting)
Ugh. So a colleague my partner has worked with for YEARS and is essentially a work bestie has a wife in an MLM. They want to hang out and share information about a business opportunity.
This is the worst part about MLMs. Like - first of all, no chance of us getting involved because I am firmly, 100% in the anti-MLM camp and have no problem vocalizing why.
But it makes things awkward with what has been a normal, strong, healthy work friendship for years for my partner.
And it pisses me off because they've never wanted to hang out outside of work for years. But all of a sudden, they see us as great downline fodder and I feel commodified.
I know my partner will handle it well and feels less "commodified" than I do. I'm also glad that as soon as I told him, he looked into it and was like "nope. Not going to try to prey on all my friends/family - not for me." But it is so insulting to me that they see us as an easy mark, lol. And I hate if it causes awkwardness at work.
Mostly venting - but whyyyyyyy?!!?!!?!

Financial Advising Turned MLM Recruitment
I am an early career professional who was seeking out advice on my retirement plan and stock options. I often use a women’s social media group to vet different services (think mechanics, nail techs, etc.) and found a financial advisor this same way. Big mistake!
After several meetings with this advisor and one of her colleagues, I rolled over an old 401k to a traditional IRA and am/was in the process of taking out a new life insurance policy thru Transamerica (30-year). This is where I need advice: will the “advisor” who set me up with the IRA have any ties to the account now that it’s set up, or is his role in the process over?
I ask because I’m afraid of burning bridges with the insurance “advisor” if the retirement “advisor” has any access or ties to that account. Ideally, now that the roll over has occurred, I’d like to just block both of them and not sign the insurance policy.
As far as the scam itself goes, I felt really positive about the preliminary financial education meetings and after selling me the life insurance and helping me with the roll over, that’s when they tried recruiting me to join their team. I spiraled when I was in this last meeting because it made me question the validity of everything that had occurred before. Super violating and frustrating experience!

Pink Zebra Drama
Have you heard all the recent drama? Here’s the tea:
1. Supposedly this is the last ‘reunion’ and PZ is moving to incentive trips only basked on sapphire rank.
2. Company is not paying out yearly bonuses when promised. Payout happening in September instead of July.
3. Consultants continued to get harassed in a vile way from trolls, but a consultant went love yesterday saying it’s actually other consultants. (All fingers pointing to Kristin Fulton).
4. PZ top service rep at their headquarters fired. Still trying to get the tea there.
5. PZ continues to recruit trashy ladies and guys with their dollar join special.
6. Rumors that PZ moving to affiliate and will get rid of consultants up and downlines.

Does anyone know what Safe Shop actually is? Is it legitimate or something like MLM?
Hi everyone,
I wanted to ask if anyone here has any experience with Safe Shop or knows how it actually works. Any honest answers would be really appreciated.
Here's why I'm asking: One of our neighbour aunties is a member of Safe Shop, and she's been repeatedly encouraging (and honestly, kind of pressuring) my mother to join. She says that to become a seller/member, we first need to buy one of their products, which costs around ₹10,000–₹15,000.
She claims it's a great business opportunity and that we can earn good money by joining. However, I'm a bit skeptical because it sounds similar to an MLM or direct-selling model.

I worked an event recently that was hosted by Damsel in Defense and it was one of the weirdest things I’ve ever seen.
It was about four hours where they fed the attendees nothing but apple cider and little dessert platters to share. A lot of them were wearing what looked like prom and wedding dresses, there was a ton of biblical talk, and at one point one of the hosts was dramatically fake sobbing on the stage. The presentation was all over the place. They were giving out awards and showing PowerPoints throughout but at different times they would also show random clips from the movie Joyful Noise or show videos of impoverished girls in Africa that they would collectively cry over.
The people running it all seemed to be forty and younger while many of the attendees were older people. It’s unbelievably cult-y and I felt so bad for these people they’re emotionally manipulating into bankrolling them.

When the reality check hits...
So, on my local FB spotted, someone posted their CV stating "Due to an overall reduction in my working hours, I have to face the fact that I need to find another job".
Her job for the last 3 years? Stay-at-home mom and "entrepreneure aka digital product seller/content creator/marketing". Those products were Arbonne's and Digital marketing formation. Fun fact, she stated in march while she was recruiting that she gained 105 000$ in 5 months. And that women is now looking for an administrative officer position (which means around 45 000$ annual income). What is more ironic is that 3 people comment that they have "the perfect opporunity for her due to her experience in digital marketing", which are (looking at profiles because they wouldn't exposed it on comments), Primerica's and another digital marketing formation seller.

Was this an MLM Approach?
Last night I was approached at a parking lot by a man wearing a suit asking if I wanted to be set up on a date.
I said no, he started giggling about how “serious” I was, then asked my mom who was with me, if ai was her “baby” and if she wanted to make 8 figures for me by joining his international business.
He kept us from going to our cars for a minute and scared the living crap out of both of us. My mom is rightfully worried that I was followed home or that this was a more sinister encounter.
I’m familiar with a few MLMs but have honestly never been approached like this and was completely disarmed. Was this like an Amway person? Is this a script?
Similar stories welcome.
