So I’m watching @The Sam Dee and she figured this out - I totally didn’t - but now I can’t stop laughing because I made fun of the name in a comment of someone else’s post. Arieyl’s idiotic “O Take My Pic” is named so absurdly because it’s a “brilliant MLM Hun-mind” play on the word Ozempic. Because, per the Huns, it’s a NATURAL version of the drug.
If only Dante had a segment called Idiota: this would be 10th level stuff.

How in the world are these "one size"
I own a single pair of these leggings and I have a hard time imagining how they would fit someone much larger than me. I wear them under jeans when it's cold.
For reference, I'm 6' tall but with a longer torso and short ish legs, I weigh about 150 and my hip measurement is 41 inches. A size 8 or 10 in most jeans and dresses. So not the smallest person ever but not all that big either. And every time I put these on, I wonder how tf these would fit anyone larger than me. I feel like there's just not that much more stretch in the butt when I'm wearing them and getting the waistband over my hips is like a project.
Just...how? Do they rip more easily on people over a size 8?

Attempted Relationship MLM Recruitment at My Knitting Circle
I have recently taken up knitting and I go to an Open Knit one evening a week. Last week I think I witnessed an MLM recruitment in the wild. I hope you find this post interesting and/or darkly amusing.
Two women, let’s call them Debbie Downline and Rebecca Recruiter, started talking about a “relationship” app. Debbie Downline states that she highly recommends this app that helps you “find a relationship”. The penny didn’t drop for me at first. I assumed it was something like Bumble that I just haven’t heard of yet.
But then I realize the two of them are working off a script feeding questions to each other. Should I stay on the app if I start a relationship? (Yes, you can make your existing relationship stronger.) Can I talk to my coach about non-romantic relationships? (Why yes! Using the magic X app can make ALL your relationships stronger.) And Rebecca Recruiter just posted a relationship seminar on the app and did Debbie Downline see it? (Debbie Downline was just so impressed with how hard Rebecca Recruiter works.) Debbie Downline admitted she was taking a break from paying for the app due to under-employment concerns. I did wonder if there was some kind of guilt thing going on. DD can’t pay so she will make it up by helping recruitment
I found myself composing point-by-point arguments in my head. At one point Rebecca Recruiter was saying that at first, she and the other investors didn’t understand why they were in these long planning meetings and then “I realized it is because we are investors so we should be interested.“
If she was an employee receiving compensation, being invited to business meetings wouldn’t be a surprising event. If she really was a venture capital investor, she wouldn’t be acting as an employee doing “a ton of work”. An investor who also does a ton of sweat-equity work is a founder and plans the meetings instead getting invited and showing up mystified as to why she was there.

Is doterra just a MLM or a pyramid scheme?
I’ve seen people saying it’s NOT a scheme but my mom is working for them and she barely gets paid and she spends around 600$ a month on it. She’s like a walking ad towards everyone in the family. She wears merch and is her whole lifestyle. She’s been working there for a year and only makes around 50-60$ per month from them sometimes.

A few weeks ago, a guy came up to while I was at work telling me that my dedication and passion for work is really admirable and he wants to help me achieve “financial freedom”, and got my number. A few days later he messaged me, inviting me to meet him and asked me to bring a girlfriend or anyone that I could. That was our first meeting and our second one happened just a few days ago. The next thing now is to attend a seminar/meeting along with other people from the Amway community, an almost 2 hour drive from me. I’ve read around about this being a pyramid scheme and what not but should just I carry on and go there just for the hell of it just to check it out? What do you guys think?
