Someone I'm not friends with tagged me on Facebook.
Someone (I assume an upline) just tagged me in a post even though I don't know them and am not their friend. The notification came through as a "tagged with friend" and I thought it was a sweet memory as our boys got on well as toddlers in baby club.
But no, some sh!t about losing weight with a product called "Phat". I've seen her yap on about the "products" you still have to count calories so what's the point?
Anyway, I blocked the unknown uplink. I will block friend if she tries again.
I couldn't find where to untag

Globe Life
My friend's husband quit his job and is now working for Globe Life. I can't tell for sure if they are an MLM or not. As far as I know he hasn't received a paycheck. His wife said it was commission only. I'm really worried he tossed away a good job for a scam.

LSSC lightning scooter app
Hey yall - it is with a heavy heart that I am typing this post. My family has gotten involved in this pyramid scheme called LSSC. It looks like it is an app that you download from their website (because it’s not available in the app stores). The company asks you to invest $5000 into the app and you are expected to get a profit of $150 daily. The moment my aunt told me about this I knew it was an mlm os some sort.
There is no proof of this scooter company actually producing scooters or selling scooters at all. They just have pictures of the scooters. I am finding that this company is prevalent in immigrant communities or church communities. I made a post on social media asking if others have heard of it and a friend reached out to let me know one of his pastors got others involved in this scheme.
I am making this post for awareness. And maybe a little bit of advice. My family is shutting me out and refuses to believe that this is a pyramid scheme. Awful awful. Hopefully they don’t invest more that the $10k they already have.

My sister and I got hurt from MK products due to the sample hostess skin care routine package- ROSACEA AWARENESS
Disclaimer: The whole reason I posted my surgical scar initially, was because redditors have a tendency to claim every story is fake. I figured if I had some kind of picture (since I can’t post my sister) it would show this is absolutely true. Well that backfired. I also posted a link unknowingly a fake hospital. I fixed it to post the link for the official rosacea awareness site. For whatever reason, I was downvoted 19 times for posting the awareness site instead. Which I’m still posting it because my sister is the one, who because of MK, is now suffering severe flares. The site shows you what that actually looks like.
The rest of anything I said was ignored and downvoted. After that everyone was an AH I asked for kindness and received vitriol and toxicity save for one person. ONE. Even after I explained numerous times I was grieving and on oxy. Which dries my skin, makes my nails brittle and dulls my hair. And lets face it there’s a mental gap in there on opiates. My brother died April 11. I received judgment instead.
I wanted to bring awareness to the damage this did to us and to warn anyone who might know someone who sells it to never sell it again or if you know someone with the condition to immediately stop using it or even try this sample facial.
I don’t want this to happen to anyone else.
I deleted that post and I’m trying one last time. I thought it mattered to this page to bring awareness of the dangers of MLM products and MLM in general.
If you know someone who sells MK (Mary Kay) or someone who has the condition who is even thinking of using it; tell them NO.
My sister who has had the condition for years, never had a reaction before and this time she did.
I also need to make absolutely clear; THE HUN BOT DIDN’T TOUCH US. It was over a video call. It wasn’t even my party, I was just there because I was staying at the hostesses house since I had major surgery and I live in a different county. In video chat, the hun bot instructed us how to use in order of seven to eight different products.
Let me make this clear I dipped out at around the third to fourth one.
Disclaimer over.
So unfortunately I can’t post pictures of my sister’s reaction to it because I don’t have her permission; so out of respect for her privacy I’ll have to verbally describe what happened to both of us. I myself recently had major surgery, I had to get my ligaments grafted.
My adorable niece was just trying to get her favorite people for a free spa day. Everyone is broke man lol Ya gotta do. (Someone tried to tell me that my niece had poor intentions. How dare you. I’m standing up for her and myself. She wasn’t the hun bot. You don’t get to say what her intentions were) So she contacted her consultant and my niece knew nobody was actually gonna be able to just outright buy anything.
Genuinely free spa day. Just to emphasize.
Me and my sister both have rosacea. You see where this is going. It felt like there had been I think six or eight skin products.( Remember major surgery happened and at the time I was two weeks and four days in to my six week recovery. I don’t remember the exact number I’m doing my best. I’m currently as of this post going on the third week).
Mom and I share her sample package. I was a last minute invite since, as stated I live out of town. Five hours to be exact.
By the the third product my skin was screaming. It BURNED. The micro abrasion was MURDER on my already shot skin from oxy which does a number on you. A number. I was hissing.
By the third or fourth product I dipped out because I tested a small sample on my cheek and yep still burned I had to use my stuff. I had to wash everything off with my personal cleanser and had to use my moisturizer to attempt to counteract any reaction. Even afterwards I had to use a cold wet compress because my cheeks were HOT and tight.
Ever since that Sunday mine and my sister’s skin just suffered. I was a lot more mild but that’s because of
This Kleo stand at the beauty salon.

Final post i made for letting ny actual friends know im out
MWR TRAVEL ADVANTAGE
Just unfriended all the fake “boss babe” MLM chicks from MWR. FINALLY some damn peace. That whole experience was one of the biggest, most humiliating mistakes of my life. If you’re thinking of joining that company—or ANY MLM—don’t walk. Fing RUN.*
These companies prey on the vulnerable—single moms, broke students, struggling workers—people just trying to survive. They sell you a dream and gut your wallet. It’s not a business; it’s a trap. And MWR is no different—it’s just a polished scam wrapped in fake empowerment.
They lie about what you’ll earn. They lie about what’s included. They twist every damn word to make it sound like an opportunity, when it’s really a pyramid of manipulation. Women like me were exploited as “flowters” so someone above us could hit their bonuses faster. We were nothing but numbers in their game. And the numbers don’t lie.
84%—yes, eighty-four percent—of the people you recruit (aka your friends and family) will LOSE money. That’s not a side hustle. That’s financial predation.
This is what I found from digging through their own materials, and the math is ugly:
85.4% lose money.
92.6% make $13/year or less.
Only 3.8% make more than $164/month—which is less than you’d earn in TWO shifts at a crap job.
Only 0.2% make more than $1132/month, less than what you’d earn working part-time for minimum wage.
And let’s talk about how shady this company really is. It costs $100/year just to be allowed to be scammed. Their Compensation Plan is a masterclass in culty buzzwords and confusion. Their Income Disclosure is vague as hell and basically admits that no one makes money—without saying it outright. Convenient.
Here’s my spreadsheet with the real math.
The harsh truth? If you’re making decent money in an MLM, it’s because you’ve become the scammer. You made that money by screwing over the 85% of people you recruited who won’t. That's the only way the system works.
MLMs are not empowerment. They're not entrepreneurship. They are corporate parasites hiding behind glitter and hashtags.
Never again. I’m done. And if you’ve been sucked into one, I hope you get out too—before it bleeds you dry.

What is the most insane thing you’ve ever witnessed or heard of an MLM hun doing? I’ll start.
I should start by saying this is not my story. This was a story submitted to anti-MLM YouTuber Hannah Alonzo, whose video featuring this story I watched earlier. But I’ve never heard anything crazier than this so I figured I’d share a summary of the story. Basically this girl who submitted this story grew up with an MLM hun as a mom, and the product being shilled was this weird “gut health” drink that apparently was disgusting. The mom eventually went off the deep end and asked people who bought this product from her to send them pictures of their… BOWEL MOVEMENTS. People actually did, and the mom kept these photos in her purse, and she would WALK AROUND STORES and go up to people and ask them how their bowels were. And then she would pull out the pictures and SHOW THEM TO PEOPLE. I would pay actual money to be a fly on the wall during those interactions because I gotta imagine people were insanely weirded out by that.

How to get MLM (Primerica) to stop contacting me for "job opportunities?"
Every time I am called or approached by these people I let them know I am not interested because I am only looking for salaried positions (Nicest way I can put it that I detest their company).
Is there a way to get onto their "do not contact" list or does this not exist? It isn't just a single phone number I can block, and I have to allow unknown numbers to call me for legitimate recruiters, unfortunately. Any help is appreciated, thanks.

Nickole Atkinson Leaves Thrive
Nickole was an integral part of solving Shannon Watts murder. I know initially there was probably a windfall for everybody involved in her up line and downline and her parents even got her 200 K posthumously but last week NA announced, she was moving to shop club/Maleuca. I noticed on a recent announcement that Shannan’s entire up line was in the millionaires club, but none of her downline or her team was so I wonder if that played into it. I hate to see her go to another MLM because it’s an MLM but I understand the need to change and do something different but I would imagine she received a fair amount of orders just from lookie lews so I wonder what happened….

Met a guy at work
So basically the other day I was at work and a guy came up to me with his baby in a stroller. He complimented my earbuds and asked me what brand they were i told him what the brand was and then he asked me about my phone and that he has an iPhone that he wants to switch to Samsung. And then we started talking about what I do, and I told him I'm in college.
He said, that's cool and I should keep doing that, then he mentioned that he runs an e Commerce business with his wife to generate passive income. long story short, we ended up exchanging information, and we just met on a zoom meeting today. In the zoom meeting, he told me Some basic information about business and how employees are just working for big bosses, and how in life you're gonna wanna be the big boss if you want to make money and do all this and that. Throughout the meeting, he mentioned him having a mentor a lot and how his mentor helped him build what he has now. By the end of the meeting he sent me a pdf of this book called who moved my cheese and then asked me if I can go to his presentation at a mutual friends house. I said I should be able to go but when the meeting ended something seemed off. Is this a pyramid scheme? Should I even go to the presentation. He seems nice and kept mentioning how he's willing to invest his time into me but after looking around I came to this reddit and Im seeing stuff similar to what I experienced.

Friend recurited me into Primerica. What do I do?
As the title states, my friend recruited me into Primerica. I didn't know that's what it was until my call today. It started with her wanting to meet her coworkers, I agreed, and she said wanted me to meet with her boss before the event because she's usually super busy during them and wouldn't have much time to chat. That seemed innocent enough. I thought it was going to be like a coffee chat where I'm just literally getting to know more about what they do. Obviously, I knew my friend was wanting me to do all of this because she wanted to recruit me, but what I did not expect was for this call to be, essentially, a job interview/pitch.
To make a long story short, I ended up paying the $124. It was stupid, I didn't feel comfortable doing it, but I felt like I was in too deep to say no at that point, especially because I was caught completely off guard by what the call was vs what I thought it was supposed to be. As we know, they are very talented people and can redirect someone's no into a yes.
Thankfully, I found this sub, and I'm going to start the process of requesting a refund. I'm also going to ask about having my account completely deleted, but I need advice on how to approach it with my friend. A lot of the reason I got that far was because I didn't want things to look bad for her, and I still don't. If she wants to rope her other friends and family into this, that's her business, but I want no parts of it, but I still don't want this to negatively affect what she has going on. I don't want to do the training, I don't want to make the list of referrals, I don't want them to have any of my info, and I just want my money back.
So how do I approach this conversation with her?

my normal skin care and I stopped midway. She did the rest of the routine. It was so aggressive that she had vicious red marks/blood vessels, itchy, pustules, tight and flaky. She now has all the hallmarks of an intense flare due to this facial.
We tried to tell the consultant that we weren’t reacting to this okay and she had this look like the wind was taken out of her sale pitch. Instead of asking us if we’re okay, the first thing she does is try to gaslight us and proceeds to tell us that people with rosacea have noticed improvements from this exact routine. ☠️☠️
No ma’am I bet they didn’t. Or if they did they had such a mild case it didn’t show it’s ugly head. Ever since; my cheeks have been flakey and red and uncontrollably warm and my sister has been having intermittent severe flares 😭
Moral of the story- if you know someone who does MK and or prone to go to the parties and has rosacea, let them know to stay far…FAAAAAAAAAARRRRR away from the sample hostess skin care routine. Also at least our hun bot was evil enough to still try to convince us that it would HELP us. BRUH.
This was in the old post but: Be kind I’m already going through a lot. I don’t need vitriol while doing due diligence to bring awareness. MK is an extremely popular MLM and a lot more common than the others. It’s more likely what happened to us can repeat.
Edit: fixing grammar as best as I currently can.
