Today in TLDR. It's manic, sad, cultish, long-winded, and very manipulative.

It's a scam but she hasn't figured it out yet.
I have an old friend that I lost contact with that has a daughter waist deep into this. She post 5 to 10 posts each day on facebook. Years ago she had a boyfriend that got involved in the ACN video phone MLM scheme. Just like most of those that tried, he lost his ass. When I tried to message her about it she politely blew me off. I pushed a little and asked if it was an MLM like her old boyfriend got caught up in. She said no but would tell me anything about the program. She said I have to join in on a call and listen to it. Then I can decide if I want to join in on making lots of money. I found a few FB videos and the one girl definitely uses MLM in her speech saying she has around 7 levels below her. Another one let it slip that it cost up to $21000 to join. A third one says there are no products to sell. To me, it's an obvious pyramid scheme. How do they get away with it?

I Recovered My QNet Investment Capital– Here’s What I Learned, Who Was Involved, and Why You Should Be Careful
After months of persistence, I’ve finally recovered most of the capital I had put into QNet. I’m sharing my experience here because I know many others may be stuck, confused, or afraid to speak up. I was one of those people too.
Here’s what happened:
• I was referred to a “business opportunity” by people I trusted: Ratan Yandapalli, Yashpal Krishna Bandaluppi, and Gautham Krishna B.
• They pitched it as a startup-style venture where I’d need to “invest in myself.” Only after transferring the money did they reveal it was used to purchase QNet products—not to build any actual business.
• What followed was a web of emotional manipulation, secrecy, and fear tactics designed to keep me from asking questions or backing out.
What I did next:
• I exited in December 2024.
• I ensured those I had brought in (including family) also resigned.
• I sent a legal notice via QNet’s Bangalore office and filed a police complaint in Delhi.
• I even escalated the issue up to the Bangalore City Police Commissioner, but progress was slow.
Why I’m posting this:
This is not about revenge. This is about awareness and accountability. These people may continue to recruit others, and I want to ensure nobody else falls into this trap.
I’ve also started an initiative named Akatsuki, a support system for QNet victims who are trying to get out but feel stuck, scared, or financially drained.
A few important notes:
• QNet is not officially banned in India, but many of its practices are questionable.
• The Amezcua Disc, one of their key products, has been banned by the FSSAI.
• MLM schemes often hide behind motivational language—don’t be fooled.
If anyone reading this needs help exiting, understanding refund procedures, or just needs to talk, I’m here.

MONAT's Punta Cana passport trip feels emptier
Notice all the empty seats?
Monat huns are currently at the Hard Rock Resort in Punta Cana for the annual passport incentive/indoctrination trip. About half the huns I follow are at this trip compared to last year, and it was a similar decline last year. I've been trying to deduce how many people are attending this year from people's stories, but the huns are being very careful about not showing the size of crowds like they used to brag about in the past. However, in some videos (like the shot above) of the main events, it seems like fewer than 100 people in attendance (with some of that being spouses). Anyone have the dirt of how bad their attendance numbers are? Surely the people there can't gaslight themselves into thinking their business is still thriving, right?

Top Monat hun selling house?
Just saw some posts on Instagram from the current top Monat hun. Seems like she is getting ready to list her Lake Havasu compound. Not really sure what the market is for a house that has a 5 thousand square foot garage, but whatever. I’m more curious why she is selling it. Are they having financial trouble and are trying to downsize? That whole garage is full of boats and jet skis that will need to go somewhere. Anyone have the inside scoop?

Crying hun
Breaking news: Arbonne hun is crying on story and heartbroken because she’s not actually qualified for national vice president.
Thought she made it last month, just found out due to a “counting” error once they like looked into it and tallied or something (they being Arbonne I guess?) that she didn’t actually make it.
They had like air bnbs and stayed up selling and popping champagne while one ran for NVP one top 2% and a bunch of other smaller huns.
It’s just such BS.
Oh and now they’re using it to “rise up” and do it again this month (and have 2 weeks to push to get it). Like isn’t this exhausting?

Attended an Amway meeting a few days ago. Losing sleep. What the fuck! Long post.
TLDR: old friend is in Amway. Invited me to a meeting. So bizarre and manipulative. I attended and said no to moving forward. and I’m genuinely shook on what I found out about it.
I was invited to an Amway meeting this past Monday. I was told by my friend. Someone who I have know since early 20’s now in our 40’s. Never saw him as a positive person or a go getter. Lost touch I. Our 30’s Last couple years we reconnected. We live 10 minutes away from each other. I was really impressed on how much he had grown. Kids, stopped drinking, talked about personal growth. Mindset, wanting to get out of the financial rat race etc etc.
I found it in intriguing. I myself have made some changes over the past 8 years. Personal development and the literature around it has been in my orbit. 7 habits, think and grow rich etc. I haven’t read most of them. Not motivated enough I guess. But the idea of growth appeals to me. Wanting to build my network and make more money is also stuff I have been longing for. I’ve been open to getting coaching. I was a good prospect.
My friend recognized that. It took a while. I didn’t come across as desperate. I spoke with confidence and could keep up with his speak. We would go on walks and catch up. Happy to have a friend that was growing up.
He started mentioning the people he knew now. Ballers. People that have broken out of the system. Money was no longer their worries. Just growing more and more.
He would offer me his energy drinks. B12 viramins and a little goody sampler bag to take home.
We didn’t get together too much. We were both busy but I would gripe about my work life balance.
Last couple months he started reaching out more. My schedule fluctuates a bit so thankfully I really was busy. Otherwise I would attend some social get together but we met a couple more times more frequently. Just got back from my grandmas funeral this past weekend. We met the day after I got back and he gave me the whole spill.
99% of us will only ever be employees, free enterprise. The network. The value. He was wearing a suit. I was wearing shorts. Still didn’t see what I was agreeing to attend.
Monday I attended the Amway meeting. At his mentors house. Same neighborhood. 40 or so people there. Mainly 30’s. All positive all thankful for me coming. I’m very lucky someone said. My friend got me a seat front and center.
His mentor( and long time friend) spoke briefly and then introduced to main attraction. The Diamond speaker. The guy who made it. Dressed sharp. Hair was perfect. His wife was super fit and supportive. Spoke fast lots of whiteboard. He drew a dollar sign. He had a whole script. I’ve heard my friend laugh for years. The laugh he gave while the guy was being “funny” was so fake.
Testimony from people how this has saved their marriage. My friends wife spoke that this got her out 40k debt for student loans. Looking back I truly think they were told to invision what they wanted and speak it like it had happened. The married couple didn’t appear very happy.
Testimony on the products. Healthy energy drinks. Protein shake. Something for sinuses. Something for vision. Save their lives.
More diamond speak. This is the opportunity. People who quit don’t believe. Etc etc.
They didn’t get me to sign up or buy shit. The meeting ended at 10p so you can go to bed and think about it. My friend introduced me to the diamond. They gave the bro hug. Everyone else got the handshake. Asked me about my job and said maybe we will all get together and talk.
My friend walked me out and we ran into his mentor. They wanted to have another talk. Us 3 to answer any questions. I told him I wasn’t available till next week. Kind of true.
Went to bed questioning my effort, my relationships. My life. Didn’t sleep.
I talked to my therapist, I sent my friend a text the next day thanking him for the invite, recognizing his growth, wanting to retain friendship but declining to move forward. He replied he had a feeling and

Epicure Relaunches Under New Canadian Ownership, Led by Proven Entrepreneurs
Beloved “good food, real fast” brand returns with trusted products, a reenergized vision, and a commitment to remaining proudly Canadian-made and Canadian-led
VANCOUVER, April 17, 2025 — Epicure, the iconic Canadian brand known for helping families prepare high quality, delicious meals with everyday convenience, is entering a bold new chapter. Acquired by a passionate group of Canadian entrepreneurs, Epicure is preparing to relaunch with a renewed commitment to its values, community, and made-in-Canada roots.
The new ownership includes Adam and Amir Assadkhan, founders of Magic Scoop Nutrition and co-founders of Vitasave; Kyle Vucko, co-founder of Indochino; and Amelia Warren, the former Epicure CEO who helped lead the company through decades of product growth and brand expansion. The group emerged as the successful bidder for Epicure’s assets, driven by a clear vision and deep passion for the brand’s future.
Kyle and Amelia are married
“Through our 2024 partnership, we came to know Epicure not just as a company, but as a community,” says Adam Assadkhan, Managing Director of Magic Scoop. “The people behind the brand — its Ambassadors, customers, and employees — left a lasting impression. When the opportunity arose to bring this brand back to life, we knew it was one worth investing in.”
Bringing Back the Products Canadians Know and Love
The team is already working with Canadian manufacturers to reintroduce Epicure’s most-loved products, making them available coast to coast via epicure.com, select retailers, and a robust affiliate program.
(so, wiped out the debt - and still owe $$ to ambassadors! - likely buying back the building/equipment for cheap at auction, scrapping the ambassadors and teams and moving to an affiliate program. Rich get richer.)
Epicure’s success over nearly three decades has always been driven by its passionate Ambassadors and loyal customer base. This community remains central to the brand’s relaunch and future.
“We believe in Epicure’s mission to deliver good food, real fast — and in the value it brings to millions of Canadians,” says Amir Assadkhan. “We’re committed to honouring that legacy while building a stronger, more innovative company that extends this mission into the future.”
Returning to Re-Build: Amelia Warren Rejoins Epicure
After stepping down as CEO in May 2024 due to strategic differences with the former board, Amelia Warren worked closely with the new leadership to ensure a smooth transition and, at the company’s request, retained the CEO title given her connection with the community. While her formal involvement in operations, decision-making, and governance had ended, she continued to support Epicure’s ambassadors at public and corporate events.
(note, it was never announced to the ambassadors that she'd left, she was called the CEO by everyone until the sudden closure in January!)
Today, she returns as Managing Director and equity partner, ready to help rebuild the brand she helped shape and reignite the community that has always inspired her.
“I’ve always believed in Epicure — in the products, the team, and especially the people who are so passionate about our shared mission,” says Warren. “This brand fills a real need in the market, and it has always held a big place in my heart. When Adam and Amir invited me to return in an ownership role, I didn’t hesitate. It feels deeply meaningful to be offered my first equity stake in the company I helped build. I have immense respect for my new partners, and together, we’re ready to re-found Epicure and bring clean, convenient food to even more Canadians.”
With relaunch plans already underway, more details will be shared in the coming weeks. For updates, visit epicure.com and follow Epicure on social media.

understood. No love lost he said.
Started going down the rabbit hole on this shit. It’s dark. Really dark. The motivation business. Making money constantly going upwards. Constant recruiting and promoting the inventory. Watched some interviews on people who got out and Doc about it. Christ I got close to the fire. This world completely takes advantage of people and they keep coming back for more because they are not motivated enough. It’s wild. I truly believe these people think they are doing the right thing. They are ahead of the game. On the right path. Just keep paying and staying motivated and one day it will come true. Fuck!!!

Just heard of Plexus for the first time...
One of My closest Friends is starting a challenging financial time right now because of life circumstances (married, 3 kids).
A few weeks ago she told me She's gonna venture with this business related to some products to help making some extra income. She told me She's been using the products for the last 6 years, but I've known her for almost 3 years and She's never mentioned them before.
I don't know anything about the products, Only that apparently, there are some sort of drinks or supplements (I know this barely because of the videos she started making and posting on social media). And she also mentioned how her friend who is in it already, makes thousands of dollars with it.
I felt a little concerned, but I want to be supportive.
Last night she and her friend had a chat group meeting with a Lot of ladies (me included) to give info about the products.
Here's where I learn about Plexus and ALL the many benefits. They offers the products, they gave away an Amazon card too, some ladies said they were interested in buying some...
At this Point, I'm very worried because it sounds like an MLM (I've personally never been involved in one, but have had multiple friends selling doterra, nuskin, Herbalife, etc, so I recognized the methods).
I'm concerned because My friend is already facing some financial problems and She's going all into this. She's very excited and hopeful.
I want to be supportive but I'm worried this is going to backfire, and if I Say something, but scared She'll be mad at me.
How can I tell her? Should I just mind my own business?
Her husband is supporting her, but I'm suspecting he doesn't know the extent of the whole thing.
Help!

Whistleblowing: QNet Bots Being in Higher Management Positions in the MNCs of India?
This may sound like a conspiracy theory at first, but hear me out.
Over the last year, I’ve been closely observing patterns and behaviors that strongly suggest that several individuals involved in QNet (or similar MLM schemes) have climbed to influential positions in major MNCs across India. These are not just entry-level recruiters or casual participants — we’re talking about senior managers, AVPs, and even directors who are subtly (or sometimes aggressively) pushing their downlines, manipulating hiring processes, or using company resources and networks to fuel recruitment pipelines.
The red flags:
• Selective hiring where only “team-friendly” candidates (often with a QNet background) are given preference.
• Cult-like team environments: Think forced positivity, exaggerated wealth signaling, and QNet-style motivational jargon being passed off as corporate culture.
• Push for financial “investments” disguised as “side hustles,” “freedom plans,” or “weekend projects.”
• Unusual attrition among employees who question the above practices or refuse to engage.
• Internal referrals abused to bring in more “network believers,” not necessarily qualified talent.
I used to think MLM was something that people did outside their job. But now it feels like the lines are dangerously blurred. These people are not just exploiting friends or family — they’re slowly infiltrating institutions, shifting company culture, and gatekeeping career growth based on loyalty to an MLM ideology.
It’s not just unethical, it’s potentially dangerous. We’re talking about data-sensitive industries — finance, IT, consulting — with people in power who report to uplines instead of boards.
Has anyone else noticed this? Is it just me, or are we sleepwalking into a corporate takeover led by a network-marketing cult?
I’m sharing this anonymously, but I hope it reaches people who’ve seen similar patterns. Feel free to DM if you want to connect privately.
