When your "all natural" vitamins stink so much, you have to sell little air fresheners.
They must stink to high heaven. But, girl, think about the opportunity, you're gonna be so rich that you can store your stinky pills in another part of your mansion.

"The Promotions Company" - UK - Big MLM
This has also been posted on r/Devilcorp .
After applying to a bunch of retail and sales roles on Indeed, I was contacted by someone representing "The Promotions Company".
I did not see any such applications on Indeed, but I traced it to a job posting listed by "Hirematic" (which is an AI-powered recruitment marketing platform), given that the postcode matches that of the job.
Everything seemed fine initially, including in the Zoom Call that I was asked to attend first; I was quickly invited in to a face-to-face interview.
This is where red flags started to appear. Firstly, they barely had a following on social media or on LinkedIn. Then, their website was a very low-effort Wordpress site. Finally, despite the office in Chelmsford supposedly being open since October/November 2024, it was not listed on Google Maps (until I added it) and the office itself was basically empty. They didn't even have a sign, instead having a "we are here" kind of hand-written whiteboard in front of the door for those of us attending the interview. Very unprofessional for a supposedly huge sales/marketing firm.
The interview itself was mostly fine (although very long) with an array of people (although many were 19/20 years old), until we got near the end and it was explained that the role would be 100% commission-based with no base salary and consisted of door-to-door sales (or being setup somewhere). We were also shown incentivising images of people making £1000 a week or more from this role, which we could do too if we put in the work. A lot of it would be getting people to sign up to subscriptions to charities and such as well, although they happily proclaimed working with huge names like Google and such.
After the interview, I was immediately offered the job, but I told them I'd hold off as I was still exploring other options. They were incredibly enthusiastic in getting me to join up ASAP however, which was an odd experience. At the time I was obviously overjoyed as I have been unemployed for a fair while, however my partner was far more sceptical.
I then spent several hours that evening looking into this company and ended up going down an insane rabbit-hole, which included me finding this sub and r/Devilcorp , amongst some very negative reviews.
Firstly, the address for their head office in Bristol lists about 8 different companies, notably:
\- THE PROMOTIONS SPECIALISTS LTD
\- EMPIRE MARKETING GROUP LTD
\- ADWAY MARKETING LTD
\- RESOLUTE MARKETING GROUP LTD
The thing about these companies is that their websites ALL have the exact same promotional images AND text. I was therefore able to link the directors of all of the above "businesses", but I do not know where the top of the pyramid actually is. "Empire Marketing" and "Adway Marketing" are also both run by the exact same person, with (I believe) one of them being based in Exeter and the other having been dissolved.
Funnily enough, the director of "Resolute Marketing Group" is the exact same guy who held the interviews in the Chelmsford office. I ended up doing a reverse Google Image Search on him and found that he was also linked to yet another company called "Hydra Sales Group", based in London.
Therefore, "The Promotions Company", "Adway Marketing", "Empire Marketing Group", "Resolute Marketing Group", AND "Hydra Sales Group", are all part of the same MLM/Pyramid.
Nearly all of these companies have been posted about on this sub, or on Devilcorp, with some claiming that they have further links to BriteVox and AppCo.

I’m about to loose a friendship with a 3rd friend due to ARbonne.
I know that there are many MLM’s out there but for me I find Arbonne to be the worst.
I have now lost 2 very close friends due to them continuously pushing me to sign up to be an Arbonne consultant. They would continuously push and push until I just had to stop being friends with them. They didn’t care about my friendship anymore. They just wanted me to buy Arbonne products from them or wanted me under them in the Arbonne lineup.
Now I have a third friend who recently got into Arbonne six months ago. It sucks because she’s a really good friend of mine and our sons are the same age so we’re also experiencing motherhood together. But she has completely been brainwashed by Arbonne. She makes 5-30 Instagram stories a day about Arbonne. Every conversation is about Arbonne. She shames people for drinking coffee and suggest they should drink Arbonnne fizz sticks instead because coffee is yucky. She started shaming me because I drink alcohol once in a while and she told me I should be drinking Arbonne stress relief instead of a glass of wine. She also has claimed that drugstore products or basically any products that aren’t Arbonne are extremely toxic and led to infertility and so on. She acts like she is a medical professional and a dietician.
I’m honestly exhausted and fed up and I have told her numerous times that I do not want to sign up. I honestly don’t know if I can hold onto this friendship either 😵💫

Where is Respectfully Sarcastic?
I'm growing increasingly anxious and worried that one of my favourite anti-MLM creators on Youtube might be gone forever. Last video uploaded was 4 months ago. I haven't found any post from her about taking a break or leaving Youtube. I'm worried something happened to her since MLM companies have gone after smaller creators before. Does anyone have any information about what happened? I just hope she's OK.

Thank y’all for your service. Almost got pulled into Primerica
I’m a full time college student looking for a part time job and my college helps us look for employment through Handshake. I was honestly applying to everything that was part time so I didn’t look up Primerica. I thought it would just be a representative role with administrative responsibilities, which I have experience in.
Well, my interview was today. The minute it started the recruiter introduced a VP or whatever and immediately went on about how they both make 6 figures a year and that we can too. Then they went on about how we would ~help families~ and how we would be doing amazing things. They mentioned that there would be ⭐️paid training⭐️ but the background check would cost $99. I was already like wtf… this doesn’t sound right. the recruiter talked to me individually (there were others in the zoom call) and when I asked what my role would be he would basically say that we would be “independent contractors” and that I could “grow my business on my own time.” This was the biggest red flag I’d ever heard considering my dad used to be in MLM’s all the time and he would also talk about his buSiNeSs. That’s also when I realized that something definitely wasn’t right and that there’s no way I would be giving these people my money upfront even though they promised that we’d earn it back through the “paid” training and “$50 sign up bonus for the app.” Oh and there was mention of having to pay $25 a month for use their software lmao WTF.
He started me on the onboarding process but when he was busy I looked up on my phone Primerica because something didn’t sit right w me. Of course that’s what led me to several subreddits AND the WFHjobs sub talking crap about Primerica and how it’s a total MLM; I wasn’t crazy after all! So when the recruiter led me to the debit card page I was like um… I have decided not to go through this. He asked me why and in quick response I said I didn’t have the money at the moment to pay for the Background check (complete lie). He said ok that’s fine you can still join our orientation and you can pay us the fee when you’re comfortable.
I was like ok… see ya tomorrow then. Not.
Anyways kudos to this sub for actually exposing this weird scheme for what it is because otherwise I probably would’ve fell for it and would have to deal with the consequence of being scammed out of my money. I was on board at first because I didn’t think handshake would host MLM’s but 🥴

My friend has invited me to Amway seminar
Now she has been in this AMWAY business for few years, makes ₹6000 per month, says she'll make lakhs in upcoming years. She has understood everyone around her knows it's a scam. She's not trying to show that she's in desperate need of me to join her business but she is quiet desperate to make big money out of Amway. She's having BLIND FAITH on her mentor. She is a good friend but I don't understand how I can make her understand she's being scammed. Also what is this seminar where she tells me I'll be shown successful Amway businessmen?

Avoiding an MLM pitch
Had a friend/client for about 12 years (I'm in a home service business).
Thought he was doing reasonably well - retired on a generous state level pension, his wife still works doing hospital admin - a pretty well compensated executive job.
Called me out of the blue while I was away on a trip.
It wasn't to hire me to help him with the usual stuff I do.
"I'm launching a new business, but it's something I can't discuss in a minute or two. " He said.
"Sure, I'll call you when I get back." I replied (no intention to call him back).
That sure as heck sounded like typical MLM talk - to get me "invested in the process" we would have to either have a long phone convo or meet in person.
He's been calling at least once a day but doesn't leave a message - another sign that he doesn't need my services - if that were the case he would text me or leave me a VM. I've dealt with thousands of people over the years - not a single one of them, if they needed my help in the context of my service offerings, has been shy about leaving a message.
Anyhow - does this sound like he's gotten the MLM bug and is looking for me to join?
