ለወጣት ሴት ሥራ ፈጣሪዎች የስራ መጀመሪያ ድጋፍ ተደረገ
ወጣት ሴት ሥራ ፈጣሪዎች ላይ ትኩረቱን አድርጎ ለአመታት ሲሰጥ የነበረው የፕሮጀክት ስልጠና የማጠቃለያ መረሃ-ግብር ተካሄዷል፡፡
ታህሳስ 22/2017 ዓ.ም (ባሕር ዳር ዩኒቨርሲቲ) የባሕር ዳር ዩኒቨርሲቲ ከአሜሪካ ኢምባሲ ጋር በመተባበር ባገኜው የገንዘብ ድጋፍ ከዘጠኝ በላይ ለሆኑ ወጣት ሴት ስራ ፈጣሪዎች በተለያዩ የስራ መስኮች ላይ ስልጠናውን ወስደው ላጠናቀቁ ሴት ስራ ፈጣሪዎች የመስሪያ ቁሳቁስ፣ የመስሪያ ቦታ እና የምስክር ወረቀት አሰጣጥ መርሀ ግብር በባሕር ዳር ዩኒቨርሲቲ ጥበብ አዳራሽ ተካሂዷል፡፡
በመድረኩ ላይ ተገኝተው የመክፈቻ ንግግር ያደረጉት የባሕር ዳር ዩኒቨርሲቲ የምርምር እና ማሕበረሰብ ተሳትፎ ም/ፕሬዚዳንት ፕሮፌሰር እንየው አድጎ እንደገለጹት የስልጠናው ዋና አላማ የስራ ፈጠራ ሐሳብ ያላቸው ሴት ወጣቶችን በማወዳደር ሐሳባቸውን ዕውን እንዲያደርጉ ዩኒቨርሲቲው ከአሜሪካን ኢምባሲ ጋር በመተባበር በተገኜው ገንዘብ የሙያ እና የቁሳቁስ ድጋፍ በማድረግ ስራ ፈጣሪዎች በሚያገኙት ስልጠና ራሳቸውን ለውጠው ለህብረተሰቡ በእውቀት ላይ የተደገፈ አገልግሎት እንዲሰጡ ማድረግ መሆኑን ተናግረዋል፡፡
የባሕር ዳር ዩኒቨርሲቲ የምርምር እና ማሕበረሰብ ተሳትፎ ም/ፕሬዚዳንት ጽ/ቤት በምርምር የሚገኙ ዕውቀቶችን እና የቴክኖሎጂ ውጤቶችን በማቀናጀት ወደገበያ እንዲወጡ አስፈላጊውን ድጋፍ ለማድረግ ስራዎች እየተሰሩ መሆኑን ፕሮፌሰር እንየው ተናግረዋል፡፡ በዘጠኝ የሙያ መስኮች ስልጠናውን የወሰዱ እና የመስሪያ ቁሳቁስ ድጋፍ ለተደረገላቸው ሰልጣኞች በዘላቂነት የክትትል እና የድጋፍ ስራዎች በአማካሪዎቻቸው አማካኝነት መሰራት እንዳለባቸው ተናግረውዋል፡፡ የከፍተኛ ትምህርት ተቋማት ከመማር ማስተማር ስራቸው ባሻገር ወጣቶች የራሳቸውን የስራ እድል እንዲፈጥሩ ስልጠናዎችን በመስጠት ዘላቂ ክትትል በማድረግ የበኩላቸውን አስተዋጽዎ ማድረግ ይገባቸዋል ሲሉም በመክፈቻ ንግግራቸው ተናግረዋል፡፡
ዶ/ር ተሾም ይዘንጋው በኢንዲያና ዩኒቨርሲቲ የዓለም አቀፍ አጋርነት ለተቋማዊ ለውጥ እና አቅም ማጎልበት ምርምር እና ልማት ተባባሪ ምክትል ፕሬዝዳንት በበይነ መረብ ገብተው ባስተላለፉት ቁልፍ መልዕክት ወጣት ሴት ስራ ፈጣሪዎች የንግድ ስራ ሐሳቦች ሰፊና ጥልቅ አንድምታ ያላቸው እና አበረታች ናቸው ብለዋል፡፡ ስልጠናውን የወሰዱ የቢዝነስ ስራዎች በደብረማርቆስ ባሕር ዳር ኮሪደር የሚገኙ በሺ የሚቆጠሩ ወጣቶች የሚፈለገውን ድጋፍ ካገኙ በተግባር ማሳየት ከሚችሉት የቢዝነስ ሐሳቦች መካከል በጣም ጥቂቶች ናቸው ሲሉ ተናግረዋል፡፡ ከዩኒቨርሲቲ፣ ከመንግስት እና ከልማት አጋሮች የሚደረግ ትንሽ ድጋፍ በጣም ብዙ ውጤቶችን እንደሚያመጣ በቁልፍ መልዕክታቸው ገልፀዋል፡፡
ዶ/ር ተሾም አክለውም የክልሉ መንግስት የፌዴራል ኤጄንሲዎች እና የልማት አጋሮች ለስራ ፈጣሪ ወጣቶች የፈጠራና የንግድ ስራዎች የተሳኩ እንዲሆኑ እና የአካባቢውን ኢኮኖሚ ለመለወጥ የሚደረገውን ጥረት በገንዘብ፣ የንግድ ስራ ፈቃድ አሰጣጥን በማቀላጠፍ የመስሪያ ቦታ በማመቻቸት የስራ ፈጣሪ ወጣቶችን እንዲበረታቱ ማድረግ እንደሚገባ ተናግረዋል፡፡
በፕሮጀክቱ ታቅፈው ስልጣናውን ከወሰዱት ሴት የስራ ፈጣሪ ወጣቶች መካከል በልብስ ስፌትና ዲዛይን፣ መሽሩም በማምረት፣ የቤት ለቤት የህክምና አገልግሎት፣ የተመጣጠነ የእናቶች እና ህፃናት ምግብ ዝግጅት፣ የወተት ተዋጾ ልማት፣ በህፃናት ማቆያ እና በፍየል ርባታ እና ማድለብ ስራዎች ሰልጥነው ለስራው የሚያስፈልጋቸውን ቁሳቁስ እና የመስሪያ ቦታ እንዲሁም የእውቅና ሰርተፊኬት ከፕሮጀክቱ አስተባባሪዎች ተበርክቶላቸዋል፡፡
በእውቅና አሰጣጥ መርሃ ግብሩ ላይ እንደተገለፀው የፕሮጀክቱ ዋና ዋና አላማዎች ዩኒቨርሲቲዎች ጋር በጋራ በመስራት አቅም መገንባት፤ በኮሪደሩ ያሉ ስራ አጥ የሆኑ ሴት ወጣቶች የራሳቸው የቢዝነስ ሀሳብ አቅርበው በስልጠናና በገንዘብ እንዲደገፉ በማድረግ የራሳቸውን ስራ እንዲፈጥሩ ማድረግ እና በአገር ውስጥም ሆነ በውጭ ከሚገኙ የተለያዩ ተቋማት ጋር በቅንጅት መስራትን መሰረት ያደረገ መሆኑም ታውቋል፡፡

Bahir Dar University Leads the Way in Regional Food Safety Collaboration
Bahir Dar University, Ethiopia – Bahir Dar University (BDU), in partnership with the Bahir Dar Branch of the Ethiopian Food and Drug Authority (EFDA) and the RAISE-FS project of SWR Ethiopia, has taken a significant step towards enhancing food safety in the Amhara region. A dedicated one-day meeting was held to establish a regional food safety technical working group platform.
The event, which brought together over 30 participants from regional bureaus and projects, was inaugurated by Prof. Netsanet Fantahun, from Research and Community Service at BDU.
Prof. Netsanet emphasized the critical importance of addressing food safety challenges in the region, particularly in light of the global concerns surrounding foodborne illnesses and mycotoxin contamination.
The meeting served as a platform for discussing the challenges associated with implementing EFDA policies and regulations, as well as the findings of recent mycotoxin studies conducted in the Amhara region. Participants recognized the need for a coordinated approach to tackle these issues, highlighting the potential for duplication of efforts and fragmentation of resources.
To address these challenges, the establishment of a sustainable regional food safety technical working group platform was proposed. The group will facilitate collaboration among key stakeholders, including government agencies, academic institutions, and industry partners. The Regional Health Bureau was selected to chair the group, with the Bureau of Agriculture serving as co-chair and the Bahir Dar EFDA branch as secretary.
This collaborative initiative signifies a promising step towards safeguarding public health in the Amhara region.
#SWAT+ and Python Workshop Kicks Off for Water Resource Management
Bahir Dar University, Ethiopia , (December 6, 2024) - The Geospatial Data & Technology Center (GDTC), in partnership with the SWAMP project, has initiated a four-day intensive workshop on "SWAT+ and Python for Water Resource Management." The event, which commenced on December 4th, 2024, is gathering 20 promising researchers and postgraduate students specializing in hydrological modeling and water resource management.
The SWAMP project, dedicated to fostering a global network of water professionals, is aligning with this workshop's practical approach. Participants are actively engaged in hands-on training sessions that seamlessly integrate the powerful SWAT+ model with Python programming. By tackling real-world case studies within the Lake Tana Sub-Basin, attendees are gaining invaluable experience in applying advanced hydrological modeling techniques.
This initiative is poised to cultivate a skilled workforce capable of addressing the intricate challenges of water resource management. By equipping participants with the necessary tools and knowledge, the workshop is contributing to the development of a robust community of water professionals committed to sustainable water resource management and conservation.
Bahir Dar University and University of Sinnar Sign Memorandum of Understanding
In a significant move to foster academic excellence and innovation, Bahir Dar University (BDU), Ethiopia, and the University of Sinnar (UoS), Sudan, signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) today. The agreement, signed by Dr. Mengesha Ayene, President of BDU, and Prof. Abderrhman Ahmed Mohammed Ismeil, Vice Chancellor of UoS, establishes a framework for robust collaboration between the two institutions.
Among other things, the partnership will focus on joint research projects, organizing training courses, conferences, and workshops to enhance staff and student capacity, developing innovative teaching methods, curricula, and course designs, and facilitating staff and student exchanges between the two universities. Both institutions expressed their strong commitment to turning this agreement into actionable initiatives, signaling a shared vision for long-term collaboration.
The event marked the culmination of a productive visit by the University of Sinnar delegation, which included Prof. Abderrhman Ahmed Mohammed Ismeil, Vice Chancellor, Dr. Ammar Abdella Ahmed Suleiman, Secretary of Academic Affairs, and Dr. Hysum Ibrahim Mohammed Muhmode, Director of International Relations, University of Gezira.

ለዩኒቨርሲቲው መምህራን የእንግሊዝኛ ቋንቋ ፈተና ስርአት ስልጠና ተሰጠ

ከዩኒቨርሲቲው የተለያዩ የአካዳሚክ ክፍሎች ለተውጣጡ መምህራን የዓለም አቀፍ የእንግሊዝኛ ቋንቋ ፈተና ስርአት (International English Language Tasting System /IELTS/) ስልጠና በፖሊ ግቢ ከህዳር 20 እስከ 24/03/17 ዓ.ም ለ5 ተከታታይ ቀናት እየተሰጠ ነው፡፡
ስልጠናውን ያዘጋጀው የዩኒቨርሲቲው የስልጠና ዳይሬክቶሬት ሲሆን ዳይሬክተሩ አቶ ወርቁ አበበ ስልጠናውን የሚሰጡት ለሙያው ቅርብ የሆነ የዩኒቨርሲቲያችን ምሁራን መሆናቸውን ገልጸው የስልጠናው ፋይዳ የጎላ ስለሆነ ሁሉም ሰልጣኝ ትኩረት ሰጥቶ በንቃት እንዲከታተል አሳስበዋል፡፡
በስልጠናው ላይ ያገኘናቸው የዩኒቨርሲቲው የ IELTS አስተባባሪና አሰልጣኝ ዶ/ር አማረ ተስፌ የስልጠናው ዓላማ የመምህራንን የእንግሊዘኛ ቋንቋ ችሎታ ለማዳበርና መማር ማስተማሩን ለማዘመን እንዲሁም ደረጃቸውን የጠበቁ ፈተናዎችን አዘጋጅተው ተማሪዎችን በአግባቡ ለመመዘን ታልሞ የተዘጋጀ መሆኑን አስገንዝበዋል፡፡
ዶ/ር አማረ በማስከተል ስልጠናውን የወሰዱ መምህራን መማር ማስተማሩን ከማዘመን ባሻገር የውጭ እድል በሚያገኙበት ወቅት የ IELTS ፈተና በቀላሉ ወስደው ውጤታማ እንደሚሆኑ በተጨማሪም ፈተናውን ለመውሰድ የሚፈልግ በርካታ ሰው ስላለ ከዩኒቨርሲቲው ማህበረሰብ ውጭ ለአካባቢው ኗሪ ፈተናውን በመስጠት ከፍተኛ አስተዋፅኦ ማበርከት እንደሚቻል ገልፀዋል፡፡

Alumni Stories: Academy of Presidents!
BDU have had 6 Presidents since PTI (BiT-BDU) and Peda (BDTC) merged together 25 years ago. 3 of its 6 presidents, Tsehaye Jemberu (PhD), Ambassador Yeshimebrat Mersha (PhD) and Mengesha Ayene (PhD) received their bachelor degrees from Peda (BDTC).
The first two got their degrees with Pedagogical Sciences in 1975 E.C and 1984 E.C respectively whereas the later graduated in 1994 E.C. with B.Ed. in Physics.
Ambassador Dr.Yeshimebrat was actually the first female university president in the country's history.
Astoundingly, in 2015 E.C. while BDU was celebrating its Diamond Jubilee, about 25% (10) of Ethiopian public universities presidents were graduates of Peda (9) and Poly (1). The universities lead then by BDU alumni include the likes of Gondar, Arbaminch, Adama, Ambo, Kotebe, Debre-Markos, Debre-Tabor, Wollo, Assosa and Worabe.

Bahir Dar University Hosts Stakeholders Consultative Workshop on Lake Tana Water Hyacinth and Water Quality Monitoring
(December 27, 2024) Bahir Dar University, Ethiopia – Bahir Dar University (BDU) successfully hosted a Scientific Project Stakeholders Consultative Workshop on Remote Sensing for Community-driven Applications: from WA+ to Co-learning (RS-4C), focusing on Lake Tana Water Hyacinth and Water Quality Monitoring.
The workshop brought together key stakeholders, including researchers, government officials, and community representatives, to collaboratively address the urgent environmental challenges facing the vital lake.
The workshop commenced with welcoming remarks from Dr. Muluken Zegeye, Deputy Scientific Director for Research and Community Service at BDU, who emphasized the crucial need for collaborative efforts to protect and sustainably manage Lake Tana.
Dr. Claire Mikhailovsky, RS-4C Project Leader, IHE Delft Institute for Water Education , the Netherlands, in a recorded video presentation, introduced the RS-4C project, highlighting its focus on bridging the gap between the growing availability of remote sensing data and its effective utilization by communities. The project emphasizes a community-centric approach, prioritizing co-identification of issues, co-development of tools, integration of local knowledge, and fostering local ownership.
Dr. Minyichil Gitaw, Deputy Scientific Director for Administrative Affairs at BDU and Project Co-PI, presented findings on the significant impact of water hyacinth infestation on Lake Tana's water quality.
Dr. Goraw Goshu, Director of the Blue Nile Water Institute and Project PI, shared the progress of the RS-4C project, emphasizing key findings on the watershed export of nutrients and its detrimental effects on the lake's ecosystem.
Dr. Ayalew Wondie, General Director of the Lake Tana and Other Water Bodies Protection Agency in Amhara Region, discussed the multifaceted challenges and potential opportunities for effective water hyacinth management in Lake Tana. Dr. Assefa Tessema from Wollo University provided valuable comparative insights by presenting on water management challenges in the Lake Hayq-Ardibo Catchment.
A lively panel discussion followed, moderated by Prof. Yihenew G/Selassie, where experts debated effective water hyacinth management strategies, explored the potential of remote sensing technology for environmental monitoring, and discussed opportunities for collaborative action among stakeholders.
The workshop, organized by in collaboration with the Bahir Dar Institute of Technology and the Blue Nile Water Institute, served as a vital platform for fostering dialogue and collaboration among diverse stakeholders in addressing the pressing environmental challenges facing Lake Tana. By bringing together researchers, government agencies, and community representatives, the workshop aimed to pave the way for innovative and sustainable solutions to protect this vital resource for generations to come.

BDU Researcher Wins Prestigious Young Statistician Showcase Award
We are delighted to announce that Getahun Mulugeta Awoke, an Assistant Professor and PhD candidate at Bahir Dar University, has been awarded the prestigious Young Statistician Showcase Award at the 32nd International Biometric Conference (IBC) in Atlanta, USA.
Getahun's research focuses on developing innovative statistical models to predict renal graft survival in Ethiopian transplant recipients. His award-winning paper, "Developing Prognostic Models to Predict Renal Graft Survival: Comparison of Statistical and Machine Learning Models," explores the use of advanced machine learning techniques to improve patient outcomes.

Collaborative Food Safety Initiative Launched in Amhara Region!
Bahir Dar University, the Ethiopian Food and Drug Authority (EFDA), and the RAISE-FS project collaborated to establish a regional food safety technical working group platform. At a one-day meeting, stakeholders emphasized the urgent need to address food safety challenges in the Amhara region. Prof. Netsanet Fantahun representing RCE office of BDU underscored the importance of coordinated action to tackle concerns from duplication and sometimes fragmented efforts to policy challenges.

ለብሉ ናይል ኢንስቲትዩት ተመራማሪዎች የፕሮፖዛል ጽሁፍ ዝግጅት (Grant Proposal Writing) ስልጠና ተሰጠት፡፡
የባሕር ዳር ዩኒቨርሲቲ የስልጠና ዳይሬክቶሬት በብሉ ናይል ኢንስቲትዩት (Blue Nile Water Institute) ስር ለሚገኙ ተመራማሪዎች (Grant Proposal Writing) ጽሁፍ ዝግጅት ስልጠና በጥበብ ሕንፃ የምርምርና ማህበረሰብ አገልግሎት አዳራሽ ከህዳር 20-22/2017 ዓ.ም ድረስ ተሰጥቷል፡፡
ስልጠናውን በንግግር ያስጀመሩት የዩኒቨርሲቲው የስልጠና ዳይሬክተር አቶ ወርቁ አበበ ሲሆኑ ዩኒቨርሲቲው የመምህራንን አቅም ለመገንባት በርካታ አጫጭር እና የረጅም ጊዜ ስልጠናዎችን በስፋት እየሰጠ መሆኑን ተናግረዋል፡፡
ዳይሬክተሩ አክለውም ስልጠናው ዓለም አቀፍ ተሞክሮ ባላቸው የዩኒቨርሲቲው ምሁራን እንደሚሰጥና ፋይዳውም የጎላ መሆኑን በመጠቆም ሰልጣኝኞች በትኩረት እንዲከታተሉ አሳስበዋል፡፡
በስልጠናው ላይ ያገኘናቸው የኢንስቲትዩቱ ዳይሬክተር ዶ/ር ጎራው ጎሹ የስልጠናውን አስፈላጊነት ሲገልፁ በኢንስቲትዩቱ ስር በርካታ ወጣት ተመራማሪዎች ስላሉ የተለያዩ ስልጠናዎችን ማግኘት ተገቢ መሆኑን አስገንዝበው የስልጠና ክፍሉ ጥያቄውን ተቀብሎ ማዘጋጀቱንና ለስልጠናው መሳካት ጉልህ አስተዋፅኦ ላበረከቱ አካላት ላቅ ያለ ምስጋና አቅርበዋል፡፡
ባሕርዳር ዩኒቨርስቲ በመደመኛው መርሃ ግብር የግል ትምህርት (Self Sponsor) መስጠት ጀመረ።
ዩኒቨርሲቲው ራስ ገዝ የምርምር ዩኒቨርስቲ ለመሆን መጠነ ሰፊ ቅደመ ዝግጅቶችን እያደረገ ሲሆን በተከታታይ ትምህርትና የማታ ኢ-መደበኛ መርሃ ግብሮች ትምህርት ፈላጊዎትች ከፍለው እንደሚማሩት ሁሉ በመደበኛው መርሃ ግብር በግላቸው የትምህርት ክፍያ እየፈጸሙ የሚማሩበትን አሰራር ይፋ አድርጓል።

ELIC/BDU holds its annual program opening event
English Language Improvement Center/ELIC held the annual program opening event at Peda Campus of Bahir Dar university. In the event that hosted more than a couple of hundred students, a few teachers and graduate students, professor Abiy Yigzaw made a inspiring speech that aims to motivate students to join ELIC and be proficient in the language in short time. The professor who presented research supported and efficient language learning strategies emphasized the importance of cooperative learning. The event was introduced by Dr. Abebe Admasu, ELIC Head and officially inaugurated by Dr. Waltenigus Mekonnen, Dean of Faculty of Humanities.
In the event, Roza Tilahun presented Film based language activity as a way to inspire the new entrants and a presentation about the historical background and the major annual club activities of the center was presented by Dr. Fisseha Derso.
An brief but quite inspiring speech was also made by a former ELIC member and a student at Poly, School of Computing, Hasset Abrham. She explained the benefits she reaped as a participating student in the language improvement center at Peda.
The event was come to halt by Dr. Manendante Mulugeta, Director for External Relations and Partnership, BDU. While officially closing the event Dr. Manendante told the participants that participating in ELIC helpful. He told them how much his debate club students changed in their language and argumentation abilities in his tenure as debate coach a few years back. The director reiterated that students shouldn't bother about their background. He even insisted students with different level of language
(low to advanced) will surely benefit from their time in the center.

ባሕር ዳር ዩኒቨርሲቲ ለመጀመሪያ ጊዜ በእንስሳት ህክምና ያሰለጠናቸውን ዶክተሮችን በደማቅ ስነ-ስርዓት አስመረቀ
የእንስሳት ህክምና ትምህርት ክፍል በትምህርት ቤትነት ማደጉም ተነግሯል።
(ጥቅምት 30/2017 ዓ/ም ፣ ባሕር ዳር ዩኒቨርሲቲ) የባሕር ዳር ዩኒቨርሲቲ ግብርና የአካባቢ ሳይንስ ኮሌጅ የእንስሳት ህክምና ሳይንስ ትምህርት ክፍል በእንስሳት ህክምና ሙያ የትምህርት መስክ ዶክትሬት ያስተማራቸውን 21 ተማሪዎች በደማቅ ስነ-ስርዓት አስመርቋል።
የምረቃ መርሐግብሩን በንግግር የከፈቱ የዩኒቨርሲቲው ፕሬዝደንት ዶ/ር መንገሻ አየነ የእንስሳት ህክምና ሳይንስ ት/ክፍል ከትምህርት ክፍልነት ወደ ትምህርት ቤትነት ያደገ መሆኑን አብስረው ያለንበት የ21ኛው ክፍለ ዘመን ሳይንቲስቶች እንደሚሉት "በራስ መነሻ ወደ ራስ መድረሻ" የራስን ድልድይና ሀዲድ በመገንባት ሙያዊ አበርክቶቱን በቀጥታ ከመቀጠር ባለፈ በተለያዩ ዘርፎች ላይ ራሳችሁን ሙሉ ተዋናይ ሁናችሁ መሳተፍ የሚገባችሁ ጊዜ ላይ ናችሁ ብለዋል።
ፕሬዚደንቱ ለተመራቂዎች ባስተላለፉት መልዕክት "መጻዒ ዘመናችሁ በብዙ ድሎችና ተግዳሮቶች ላይ የሚቆም መሆኑን በመረዳት ዝግጁ ልትሆኑ ይገባል" በማለት መክረዋል።
ዶ/ር መንገሻ አክለውም ዩኒቨርሲቲው በስራ ፈጠራና ቅጥር ብቁ ምሩቃንን እያፈራ መቀጠሉን በማስገንዘብ ለምሩቃኑ መልካም ዕድል ተመኝተዋል።
የዕለቱ የክብር እንግዳ የሆኑት ዶ/ር ወርቅነህ አያሌው ለተመራቂዎቹ የስራ መመሪያ የሰጡ ሲሆን በመልዕክታቸውም ለአገራችን የእንስሳት ህክምና ዘርፉ አዲስ ተስፋዎች በመሆናችሁ ለአገራችሁን ለወገናችሁ ጠቃሚ በመሆን የተጣለባችሁን ሙያው ሃላፊነት ለመወጣት በቀጣይነት ባገኛችሁት እውቀት አገልጋዮች መሆን እንደሚገባቸው መክረዋል። የክብር እንግዳው በስራ መመሪያቸው አክለው እንደተናገሩት ባሕርዳር ዩኒቨርሲቲ በዘርፉ ሰፊ ድጋፍ መስጠቱን በማስታወስ በቀጣይም ከተቋሙ ባገኛችሁት እውቀት ለአገር አለኝታ ዜጎች መሆን እንደሚገባቸው በአንክሮ ለተመራቂዎቹ በመናገር የእንኳን ደስ አላችሁ መልዕክታቸውን አስተላልፈዋል።
በምረቃ ስነስርዓቱ የ "ብሩክ ኢትዮጵያ" በዩኒቨርሲቲው የእንስሳት ክሊኒክ እና የእንስሳት ደህንነት በዕለቱለሚያደርገው የአጋርነት ሰናይ ስራው እውቅና ተሰጥቶታል።
በእለቱ በእንስሳት ህክምና (Veterinary Medicine) በዶክተርነት ከተመረቁ ተማሪዎች ውስጥ ዶ/ር ዘላለም በላይነህ 3.97 በማምጣት በከፍተኛ ማዕረግ ከተመራቂዎች አንደኛ በመሆን የወርቅና መዳሊያ ተሸላሚ ሲሆን ከሴቶች ዶ/ር ሶስና አሸናፊ አንደኛ በመውጣት የሜዳሊያ ተሸላሚ ሆናለች።
እንዲሁም ሰሎሞን ሽብሩ 3.89 በማምጣት ሁለተኛ ፣ ዶ/ር ሀቢብ ሀብታሙ 3.87 በማግኘት ሶስተኛ በመሆን እውቅና ተሰጥቷቸዋል።
በመጨረሻም ከባሕር ዳር ዩኒቨርሲቲ ጋር የመግባቢያ ስምምነት በመፈረም ለረጅም አመታት ሲሰራ የቆየውን ብሩክ ኢትዮጵያ የዕውቅና ምስክር ወረቀት ተሰጧቸዋል፡፡
በምረቃ ሥነ ሥርዓቱ የዩኒቨርሲቲው ፕሬዚዳንት ዶ/ር መንገሻ አየነ ጨምሮ የዩኒቨርሲቲው ከፍተኛ የሥራ ኃላፊዎች፣ መምህራን፣ ተመራቂ ተማሪዎች፣ ተጋባዥ እንግዶች እና የተመራቂ ወላጆች ተገኝተዋል፡፡
ባሕርዳር ዩኒቨርሲቲ በእንስሳት ህክምና ዶክተሮችን አሰልጥኖ ሲያስመርቅ ይህ የመጀመሪያው ነው።
