Discussion: Taish is a great movie.
It's on Zee5 and I have rewatched it a couple of times now.
Just the flow of the movie is perfect. Everything fits. This is a key aspect of whats been wrong with most of the hindi films in recent past. It is a type of film to flow smoothly. Every other movie is a multi-cast team up movie where you can see editting and pacing issues.
Music always strengthens the movie. Beautiful soundtrack.
The plot is fairly good and you dont know how the movie is going to end. Every character has grey shades. Like no one is completely right or wrong with their respective actions.
The plot points all lead up to one central storyline. Mob Family, Child Abuse, Sunny's Rage, Pali's internal conflict. The storyline is handled in an extremely serious manner.
Bejoy Nambiar is such a great storyteller. He is very serious about his story as he understands all the minute details. He has a couple of funny moments but stands to be a serious storyteller. Sadly he messed up with David a bit & it did not deliver.
Creative car chase scene, like dimming the lights and driving in pitch black to trick. The car chase scenes in hindi films just dont measure up when compared to the ones in his films.
Harshvardhan Rane's performance- I really appreciate how slow and dramatic a lot of the scenes are with him swooping down. There's just something unbelievably deep and sad about his character; Pali. I always felt like Affleck's Batman was the closest thing to what Batman supposed to be according to the comics, i mean the warehouse fight scene. He is almost like a killing machine WITH EXTREMELY DEEP, EMOTIONAL ISSUES , always on the edge of snapping for good. He will break your bones one by one if he feels like he that needs to. He will give you severe brain injury if he feels like that he needs to. One could see the rage, paranoia and pain in Pali. You just looked at Pali and could feel the years of pain and torment he carried within him. Harshavardhan Rane had a certain aura around him in that movie you could sense. You wonder and ask yourself just what happened to this guy over the last 20 years.
And he summed it up perfectly.
He is a fantastic actor. Acting is just that, an act. And no matter how great you can act, you know its an act.
Taish is probably one of the coolest hindi films of recent times.

The massy actor of Bollywood, who has multiple projects under his belt, recently spoke about his marriage plans with childhood girlfriend Natasha Dalal. Talking about it, the Badlapur actor told Filmfare, “Everyone is talking about this (his marriage) for the last two years. There is nothing concrete right now. There is so much uncertainty in the world right now, but if things settle down (COVID and its impact), then maybe this year. I mean… I am planning for it definitely soon. But let there be more certainty"
Varun, who recently recovered from COVID-19 further added, “The excitement when people see your work and that euphoria of watching it, gave me a lot of joy. And I'm feeling much better.” While the actor is shooting for Raj Mehta’s Jug Jugg Jeeyo with Kiara Advani, Anil Kapoor, and Neetu Kapoor, he will start shooting for Sriram Raghavan's Ekkis after that. Speaking about the film, Sriram told E Times, “We have been prepping for the film as much as possible. The pre-production work has been on, but now we have to work around the new scheme of things. Weather-wise, we would have liked to start the film last September and wrap up by now, but the lockdown just pushed everything ahead.”

Even though Aishwarya Rai and Hrithik Roshan look absolutely smashing together and ensure a hit every time they feature together, papa Rakesh Roshan was not convinced. While the world went gaga when Hrithik and Aishwarya featured together in Jodha Akbar and Dhoom 2, Rakesh Roshan thought otherwise.
Rakesh Roshan had once publically said that he wouldn't be able to cast Aishwarya Rai opposite Hrithik Roshan as she looks older than Hrithik. Ouch! That was quite a strong statement to make.
However, Aishwarya had reacted to his statement and said, "It's strange that Rakesh Roshan thinks I look older than Hrithik. In fact, he's approached me for all his home productions," reported HT.

Bollywood actress and the main accused in the Sushant Singh Rajput death case, Rhea Chakraborty is gradually bouncing back to her normal life. But the actress got recently trolled yet again after her pictures spending quality time with the TV reality show 'Roadies' fame Rajiv Lakshman started making rounds on social media. The pictures were from the birthday party of VJ Anusha Dandekar, which the 'Jalebi' actress attended along with the couple Farhan Akhtar and Shibani Dandekar. In the pictures, Rhea Chakraborty, the girlfriend of late Sushant Singh Rajput, was all smiles and could be seen enjoying with Rajiv. The latter shared some pictures with her on his social media handle and captioned it as, 'My girl,' but after coming under the scanner of trolls, he deleted the pictures and issued an apology for the same.

Are Shah Rukh Khan and Juhi Chawla still good friends? If not, then what went wrong between them? Somehow this iconic pair of the 90s has drifted apart, for no particular reason available in the public domain. Juhi is not regularly seen at Mannat either.
Even Gauri Khan and Karan Johar, the gatekeepers of Shah Rukh Khan's social circle, aren't particularly close to Juhi. I feel a bit sad for the state of affairs between them as Juhi was SRK's friend since his struggling days.

Pankaj Tripathi is becoming a victim of overexposure
Saw a tweet from some random handle that was posted here saying Pankaj Tripathi can only play typical UP/Bihar roles. While I vehemently disagree with it, I think there's some merit to that statement. This perception is being created because those are the roles he seems to be getting offered the most and unfortunately, he doesn't seem to be too picky when it comes to choosing work.
I kinda understand the reason behind this too. After having struggled for almost two decades, I'm sure PT would want to make hay while the sun is shining. But by appearing in every second movie and series out there, he might be diminishing his own worth. Nothing wrong with it, it's just what it is.
