⚠️ Manual Intervention Required ⚠️
- 16.2 requires a clean flash initially, else it will get stuck on OnePlus boot logo.
- Once you are on 16.2, dirty flash and local updater will work fine again.
- This means, all your data will be lost. Back it up e.g. with SwiftBackup before installing!
- Enter recovery; Factory Reset -> Format Data, then proceed with installation.
- If you forget and get stuck on bootlogo, don't panic, you can just enter recovery then and format data all the same, and it will boot.
- Some users report boot.img not working on clean flash. Use december-boot.img instead then!

⚠️ Manual Intervention Required ⚠️
- 16.2 requires a clean flash initially, else it will get stuck on OnePlus boot logo.
- Once you are on 16.2, dirty flash and local updater will work fine again.
- This means, all your data will be lost. Back it up e.g. with SwiftBackup before installing!
- Enter recovery; Factory Reset -> Format Data, then proceed with installation.
- If you forget and get stuck on bootlogo, don't panic, you can just enter recovery then and format data all the same, and it will boot.
- Some users report boot.img not working on clean flash. Use december-boot.img instead then!
