Aspartame Could Cause Memory and Learning Deficits in Future Generations, a New Study Suggests
The non-sugar, low-calorie sweetener aspartame — which is found in many sugar-free or "diet" foods and drinks — has been linked to potential problems with memory and learning, according to a study from the Florida State University (FSU) College of Medicine.
In the study, which was published in the journal Scientific Reports, male mice that consumed aspartame — even at levels deemed safe by the FDA — had offspring that "demonstrated spatial learning and memory deficits," a press release from FSU stated.
Over a 16-week period, the researchers studied three groups of mice.
One group consumed 15% of the FDA’s maximum recommended intake of daily aspartame per day, which is equivalent to four 8-oz. sodas.
A second group consumed 7% of the recommended maximum intake (two 8-oz. sodas daily).
A third control group consumed only water.
The mice were tested in mazes at intervals of four weeks, eight weeks and 12 weeks. The ones that drank only water were able to find the "safe" box to escape from the maze much faster than the ones that consumed aspartame, the researchers found.
The aspartame-consuming groups eventually completed the task, but they took "much longer" to do it and sometimes needed extra help, the release said.
"There is some overlap in terms of learning, memory and anxiety, in the sense that often there is an emotional component to our learning," said co-author Pradeep Bhide, the Jim and Betty Ann Rodgers eminent scholar chair of developmental neuroscience in the Department of Biomedical Sciences, in the press release.
"When there’s an emotional impact, you remember better. But this is a quite distinct function and brain network."
He also said, "The second thing we noticed here, unlike the anxiety (research) — this went only [in] one generation. It was not seen in the grandchildren, only in the children [of the male mice], which is another line of support that these kinds of transmissions occur due to epigenetic changes in the sperm."
Based on the study findings, Bhide suggested the FDA takes a "closer, multi-generational perspective on the effects of aspartame."

🚨New Lancet Study📖: Biodistribution of mRNA COVID-19 Vaccines in Human Breast Milk — The Lancet
COVID-19 mRNA vaccines play a vital role in the fight against SARS-CoV-2 infection. However, lactating women have been largely excluded from most vaccine clinical trials. As a result, limited research has been conducted on the systemic distribution of vaccine mRNA during lactation and whether it is excreted in human breast milk (BM). Here, we evaluated if COVID-19 vaccine mRNA is detectable in BM after maternal vaccination and determined its potential translational activity...
Findings
Of 13 lactating women receiving the vaccine (20 exposures), trace mRNA amounts were detected in 10 exposures up to 45 h post-vaccination. The mRNA was concentrated in the BM EVs; however, these EVs neither expressed SARS-COV-2 spike protein nor induced its expression in the HT-29 cell line. Linkage analysis suggests vaccine mRNA integrity was reduced to 12–25% in BM.
Interpretations
Our findings demonstrate that the COVID-19 vaccine mRNA is not confined to the injection site but spreads systemically and is packaged into BM EVs. However, as only trace quantities are present and a clear translational activity is absent, we believe breastfeeding post-vaccination is safe, especially 48 h after vaccination. Nevertheless, since the minimum mRNA vaccine dose to elicit an immune reaction in infants <6 months is unknown, a dialogue between a breastfeeding mother and her healthcare provider should address the benefit/risk considerations of breastfeeding in the first two days after maternal vaccination.
.... Initially, it was thought that the vaccine mRNA encapsulated in LNPs would remain localized at the injection site and quickly degrade. However, several reports suggest that the LNPs/mRNA can enter the bloodstream and accumulate in distant tissues.
The Pfizer and Moderna Assessment Reports provided to the European Medicines Agency concluded that a small fraction of the administered mRNA dose was distributed to distant tissues, mainly the liver, adrenal glands, spleen, and ovaries. Additionally, mRNA constructs persisted for 1–3 days in tissues other than the injection site. For lactating mothers receiving the vaccine, our results suggest that the vaccine LNPs will reach the breast tissue.
However, since the intact blood-milk barrier prevents an uncontrolled exchange of soluble and cellular components between blood and milk in the mammary gland it is unlikely that intact LNPs will pass the blood-milk barrier to the BM. Using the fraction of RNA we detected in breast milk/mL, we calculated that the expected level of lipids in the same volume of milk was below the level of detection using the currently available analytical methodology.
Our model (Fig. 5) proposes that following intramuscular administration, the LNPs containing the vaccine mRNA are likely carried to mammary glands via hematogenous or lymphatic transport. The LNPs will release their mRNA content into the cytosol of the mammary gland cells, and a portion of this mRNA will be recruited, packaged, and released in the BM EVs (exosomes or microvesicles). This can be significant as the BM EVs act as natural LNPs, protecting the mRNA from degradation.
Milk-derived EVs are resistant to proteolysis by gastric and pancreatic secretions and can be readily absorbed by intestinal epithelial cells. Because of their ability to transfer and protect the mRNA, milk EVs have been tested as a vehicle for COVID mRNA oral vaccine.

🚨 BREAKING: HHS Pulls All Federal Funding from Wuhan Institute of Virology
The Department of Health and Human Services on Wednesday issued a notice barring the Wuhan Institute of Virology from federal funding for 10 years due to conducting experiments with high potential for dangerous public health consequences.
"[T]he [National Institutes of Health] determined that the WIV may have conducted an experiment yielding a level of viral activity which was greater than permitted under the terms of the grant ... which possibly did lead or could lead to health issues or other unacceptable outcomes," the agency said in a letter sent on Wednesday to WIV Director General Yanyi Wang.
Researchers at the WIV received U.S. federal funding between 2014 and 2020 through a grant project between the NIH and the EcoHealth Alliance, which has been known as a preeminent coronavirus and gain-of-function research organization.
A declassified report released earlier this summer from the Office of the Director of National Intelligence explained that the illness of three WIV lab workers in late 2019 was likely unrelated to the beginning of the COVID-19 pandemic. The report found that "some of their symptoms" were consistent with COVID-19, but they were ultimately "not diagnostic" of the virus.
In connection with the incident, the NIH requested documentation regarding potential risks of "viral activity in violation of the grant" in November 2021 and January 2022 but received no response.
The debarment was effective starting on July 17 when HHS officials first attempted to send notice of formal fiscal suspension. Emailed notifications to addresses on the WIV's English webpage, however, received undeliverable errors. The lack of ability to communicate with WIV officials was deemed an "aggravating factor" by HHS, adding to the determination to increase debarment to 10 years from the standard three years.
"The Wuhan Institute of Virology should not receive another cent of U.S. taxpayer funding," said House Select Subcommittee on the Coronavirus Pandemic Chairman Brad Wenstrup (R-OH), whose committee has pressed both the NIH and HHS regarding funding of the WIV.
"After years of conducting dangerous gain-of-function research at inadequate biosafety levels, cutting off all American taxpayer dollars from the WIV is an essential and obvious step in the right direction," Wenstrup said. "This is especially timely as mounting evidence and intelligence continue to suggest that the COVID-19 pandemic originated from a laboratory failure in Wuhan."

Moderna, Pfizer Stocks Fall with Weak COVID-19 Vaccine Demand
🇺🇸💉Demand for COVID-19 vaccines has dropped sharply since 2021, when they first became available.
Shares of vaccine makers moved lower Monday (Sept 18) after Pfizer's finance chief predicted weaker demand for COVID-19 shots this year. Pfizer CFO David Denton said his company projects a roughly 24% COVID-19 vaccination rate in the U.S. this year.
"Keep in mind the flu is probably closer to a 50% vaccination rate, so we haircut that pretty significantly for the year," Denton said at a JPMorgan conference.
Meanwhile, the U.S. FDA has authorized updated COVID-19 vaccines from Pfizer and its partner BioNTech, as well as from Moderna, as the country prepares to start a fall vaccination campaign.

Editor at “Pro-Vaccine Publication” Experienced Serious Adverse Event After Second Pfizer Shot
A few weeks ago, I published a bombshell story in which I shared my private communications with editors at top publications who roundly rejected my writing critical of Covid mandates.
As an example, one editor made clear his publication’s strong “pro-vaccination” stance which could not be usurped:
"I’m going to pass.
As I’ve said many times before, we are a pro-vaccination newspaper, and personally I just wish everyone would get vaccinated already. While I respect your decision not to do so (and I agree jail time for those who don’t is overkill), I’m not keen on op-eds that even appear like they’re arguing against vaccination for Covid or anything else."
...As it turns out, I recently came into casual contact with an editor at one of these top American newspapers (who I will give the pseudonym “Ben” for privacy) who continually suppressed all my vaccine-myocarditis reporting because of their pro-vaccine position. For context, when I pitched one of their other editors, he responded with the following:
"Rav, sorry but we’re not going to run any anti-vaccine pieces.
I think the risk is totally overblown and amplified by right-wing pundits who have no concern for public health. These are the safest vaccines we’ve ever had and virtually everyone seeks to benefit."
Off-record, I started chatting with Ben about how he diverged with his colleagues’ authoritarian pro-mandate positions:
"My views differed a lot from the other editors there. They were all pro-vaccine passports. I remember being stunned when my colleagues said that these were the 'safest and most effective vaccines we’ve ever seen.'
After some extended communication, he revealed to me how he had a terrifying experience after the second Pfizer vaccine shot:
"About 7 hours after my 2nd shot I was in bed and started shaking. My heart began to pound. Then the shaking for worse and my heart was pounding so hard it felt like it was going to explode.
Every beat hurt. I continued shaking and heart pounding like that for hours. Hot and cold sweats."
None of this will come as a surprise to anyone who has tracked and reported on the vaccine-induced myocarditis issue. Ben predictably happens to be a young man — 32 years of age — in great shape who exercises regularly. Anyone who sees photos of him can tell he rarely skips gym day.
He further explained,
"I would have gone to the hospital but I was honestly also delirious and wasn’t in my right mind. It was extremely scary. Woke up and my heart was still noticeably racing, but not super bad. My entire body was sore and I could barely walk."
This led him to the following rational conclusion:
"I decided that would be my last COVID shot."

World Council for Health Proposes New Approach for Childhood Vaccines

The World Council for Health is the first international body of physicians, scientists, and health professionals to issue a cautionary statement on the ever-expanding routine childhood vaccine schedule. This is in response to growing concerns over the safety of many vaccines given early at life during the same administration. Here is what the Council said:
“The number of vaccines given to babies and children has increased dramatically without the necessary due diligence by regulatory authorities. Parents are urged to adopt a common-sense, ‘Safer to Wait” approach.”
Growing international concerns about vaccine regulatory processes and vaccine safety have emerged following the widespread regulatory failure of Covid-19 vaccines.
