The family of an NHS pharmacist who took his own life after suffering paralysing complications from a COVID jab are calling for urgent reform of the government's compensation scheme for vaccine damage.
John Cross was told by the official medical assessor for the scheme that the jab had caused his rare neurological effects, but that he wasn't disabled enough for a payment.
Mr Cross was unable to move, blink or breathe after his first dose of the vaccine.

The U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has quietly admitted that people who are unvaccinated for monkeypox could face “serious complications,” including “death,” if they come into “close contact” with those who have been vaccinated for the virus.

The Food and Drug Administration on Friday approved AstraZeneca’s bid to allow its nasal spray influenza vaccine, FluMist, to be sold for home administration.
Starting in fall 2025, people who want to order the vaccine to give it to themselves or their children at home will be able to do so.
FluMist is the only flu vaccine administered by nasal spray, not injection. It is licensed for individuals between the ages of 2 and 49. This FDA approval makes it the only flu vaccine in the United States that can be administered at home and that does not need to be administered by a health care professional.

Vaccine Disaster: Thousands of Brits Left Disabled After COVID Shots

A freedom of information request has revealed that over 14,000 people have applied for compensation through the UK's vaccine injury scheme.
The claims are so widespread that “staff processing these claims had to be increased from four to 80 people last year because they were coming in so quickly.”
5 and a half thousand claims have been rejected because they were not “disabled enough,” and more than 700 people have been waiting over a year for a decision.
