Spent an hour doing a tourist mission just for the passenger to freak out and fail me 5 seconds before I docked back at the station.
Really not happy about this. I visited every single waypoint and confirmed before moving on, she tells me to go back to the station, I do it, and then she gets pissed and tells me the mission is done 5 seconds before I dock. I wish there was a way to eject passengers into the void of space because boy did she fucking deserve it.

An Ode to the Megameter (and the Lightsecond)
Just wanted to rant a little about how playing Elite Dangerous gave me a pleasant appreciation of in-system distances, and the ability to compare them in a mentally handy way.
For some reason that makes no sense to me at all, distances at the scales I'm thinking of are only ever discussed in kilometers or thousands of kilometers instead of megameters. Earth to Moon? 384 399 km. Earth to Sun? 149 598 023 km. Dafuq is my brain supposed to do with that.
Enter the Megameter. A million meters, or a thousand kilometers.
Speed of light? \~ 300 Mm per second. Easy.
Earth's diameter? \~ 13 Mm. A photon zips by in much less than a second.
Moon's diameter? \~ 3.5 Mm. OK, that's 3-4 times smaller.
Earth to Moon distance? \~ 400 Mm. So a bit longer than a light-second. Also, about 30 times longer than Earth's diameter.
Largest planet? Jupiter, with a diameter of over 140 Mm. 11 Earths would roughly fit that length.
Sun's diameter? \~ 1400 Mm, or under 5 ls. So you could fit over 100 Earths alongside its diameter, or 10 Jupiters. Or 3 and a half Earth-Moon pairs.
Sun to Earth distance? \~ 500 ls, or 150 000 Mm. Over 100 Suns would fit in that path.
I know academic writers react to intuitive ease like vampires to sunlight, and would be ashamed to break from boring tradition. But I wish this unit were more commonly used at least among layman fans of astronomy and sci-fi.
PS. I formed my love for the megameter before SCO drives were introduced, when you could be stuck at a particular scale/particular depth of the gravity well for a while, and it felt more real.

Pilot update. I got the best wingman in the galaxy. My brother :D
He may be small , he may be only in the grade of 5 but god he is one of the best fighter pilots I’ve seen. I literally gave him a beam laser taipan and nothing can swat him away. 😭 he is also great a ground engagements he knows who to target ANDDD it does not cost me a single credit. He is also great with quick thinking and communication. We named our Krait MK 2 “The Big Brother” because I mostly fly it. Anyway that’s our update so far. I hope all your space adventures are fruitful and badass. :D

Fdev you've opened up a beautiful can of worms with the exclusive slots in the Panther clipper time to triple down on this.
So we found out today the Panther Clipper doesn't have military slots it has cargo slots that boost the cargo racks hold by 50%. This opens up a who new can of wonderous worms for ship customization and I think you guys need to double triple and quadruple down on it. Imagine, using an engineer or paying a credit cost to retrofit your ships slots to be exclusive slots for combat, exploration, mining, internal computer systems that boost specific modules, making perma or semi-perma retrofits to the optional internals for your ship.
The sky's the limit with this, a retrofit class six slot in conda could be fit for a fighter bay, boosting it's performance, maybe it can now launch two ship-launched fighters, maybe now it can have that canon Sidewinder fighter the conda is supposed to have?
What about a retrofit drone or limpet slot, boosting repair limpets, collector limpet timeout or total limpets in the slot you decide to refit to specifically handle limpets. Your Retrofit limpet slot can now have 6+2 because it's exclusively for your limpets and nothing else?
What about boosts to military slots, a slot for hull reinforcements that are lighter, making your skip more maneuverable for jumping or combat agility out side of what the engineer's can mod into the specific module! This slot was built properly into your combat baby and doesn't weigh her down as much. Suddenly that military slot in your Corvette isn't such a detriment to fill with heavy ass hull mods because of the retrofit to the slot. Hell maybe you don't even want military slots on your Corvette, maybe you're one of those weird degen commanders that takes their Corvette out for exploration *Cough cough* lets retrofit those worthless military slots into something else!
Seriously! The sky is the limit, go nutty with it, let us broach a whole new era of shipbuilding, ripping out the pure cores of our beloved vessels and corrupting them into new, twisted amazing monstrosities!
If you see this Fdev, consider this it could be a whole new avenue of gameplay and shipbuilding!
