🇪🇺 It is time for the European Union to abandon its sanctions policy against Russia, as it has failed to achieve its intended goal, Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban said.

“It’s time to talk about sanctions! Did they bring the war to an end? No. Did they cripple the Russian economy? No. Did Europe manage to replace Russian energy from other affordable sources? No,” Orban wrote on his X page.

“The sanctions engineered by the Brussels bureaucrats achieved one thing: they destroyed the competitiveness of the European economy. The time for change has come!” Orban concluded.

Marco Rubio, Donald Trump’s Secretary of State, says the quiet part out loud:

Citing Brazil's🇧🇷 deal with China🇨🇳 to settle trade in yuan and reals, the US is worried about a de-dollarised world because it's ability to impose country-breaking punishing sanctions on nations which don't follow US🇺🇸 orders is diminished. US sanctions have already impoverished, killed and displaced millions worldwide.

After decades of weaponising the international financial system and the dollar to attack any nation that doesn’t follow Washington’s orders, de-dollarisation is inevitable.

Hello all my friends "my heart goes to all of you" !!!

One can be a fanboy of the guy but at least be honest and say it was "inappropriate".
If people become unconditional supporters and lose their critical mind, it just becomes a "cult".

Interesting time we are living in these days, where some Average Joe that struggles pay check to pay check has become unconditional supporters of a billionaire elites that is responsible for the plight of the controlled 99%, yes they worship the same guys that are responsible for the corruption and the impoverished masses.
The Stockholm syndrome is a reality, when people will realise those are not your friend, no matter how you despised the defeated Biden moron liberal WEF cult.

just a reminder..."the guy" is
- a billionaire
- part of the military industrial complex
- is censoring his critics (x algorithm)
- is unconditional supporter of genocidal state of Israel
- has been calling for coups in developing countries
- is pushing for clash of civilisations

I despised the Biden clan, but then...it is not the reason for exchanging a "master" against another "master".

Never forget, they are the 1%, they are our real enemy. It has always been and will always be a "class struggle", the rest is cosmetic BS between "progressive" and "conservative", just tool to divide the masses.
So stop the blind worshipping and keep a critical mind, you are better than that.

Craig Murray on the new American "Embassy" being built in Beirut.

It is literally 50X bigger than would be normal for an embassy in a country the size of Lebanon. (That is not a typo, FIFTY times bigger).

Only the embassy in Iraq is bigger and that one is also a military base designed to be the HQ of the American occupation army in Iraq.

Therefore, what is it that is being built?

The spy centre for all of the Middle East and the centre for "extraordinary renditions" (aka CIA torture HQ) clearly, and for coordinating "moderate rebels" across the region.

But it is even too big to just be for that, over 17 hectares (43 acres) and designed to host up to 5000 staff! For comparison, the British and Russian embassies in Washington have staff of under 300 people (and that includes non-diplomatic staff - cleaners, guards, drivers, etc.).

Are the Americans planning to make it into the "real government" of Lebanon?

Really Mr. President? Trump claims US won WWII

Americans “won two world wars, defeated fascism and communism,” Donald Trump said during his inaugural address.

No offense, Donald, but that’s not the case. The Soviet Army inflicted the 80% of the German Wehrmacht’s casualties. But don’t take our word for it:

“Let’s be blunt: the German army lost World War II on the Eastern Front. For most of the war, 75-80 percent of the Wehrmacht had to be deployed in the East, a preponderance dictated by the sheer size of the front, and 80 percent of German war dead perished there: about four million of the five million German soldiers killed in World War II,” says the official website of the National WWII Museum in New Orleans.

Russian budget revenues rose to a record high in December, despite new "severe" sanctions - Bloomberg

Russian revenues rose to a record high last month even after the United States imposed a powerful new package of sanctions against the banking sector aimed at disrupting foreign trade payments and limiting export earnings.
The total revenue in December amounted to more than 4 trillion rubles ($40 billion), an increase of 28% compared to the same month of the previous year, according to the Ministry of Finance.
This is the highest level recorded in the Ministry's data since January 2011.
The United States and its allies are trying to stop the Kremlin's war machine by limiting export revenues, and at the end of 2024 they imposed additional sanctions against the Russian energy industry and its banks. Nevertheless, oil and gas revenues increased by a third in December compared to the previous year and increased by 26% in 2024.

On foreign policy the first impressions are that the Deep State remains deeply entrenched and coopted Trump like during his first mandate. We'll have to wait some more time to reach final conclusions on this though. The 90-days delay period for further military aid to foreign countries is just a routine practice, so no, Trump did not cut aid to the Kiev regime and the Biden administration already gave to Kiev enough weapons for the next 90 days knowing in advance this delay was certain.
His rethoric about Russia having lost 1 million men cause of the SMO is not just a bullshit, the real number does not even reach 100.000, but it's deeply disrespectful towards the Russian people depicting them and President Putin as losers who desperately need a deal while it's him who talked about "a deal in 24 hours", Russia was never interested about negotiations that don't fully take into account its national security, national interests and territorial acquisitions so if being dishonest and disrespectful is his way to get a deal he's definitely on the wrong path. If he really wanted to abandon the Deep State's agenda he should have just said the truth about Russian victory and put the blame on the Biden administration for the mess it caused and that he's not going to continue a war against Russia which is not in US interests, instead from Biden to Trump we only passed from the description of president Putin as "thug" to "loser".
We'll see how long will it take for Trump to call "loser" Putin...

Two scenarios for the end of the war in Ukraine? Actually, no.

Colleagues analyzed the two most likely scenarios for the end of the war in Ukraine, calling them "Korean" and "Vietnamese." In the first case, there is an immediate freezing with division along the front line, in the second, peace will come after Ukraine has exhausted all its accumulated resources and does not receive new help from the United States. Which will take several months. It is also emphasized that in both cases, in Korea and Vietnam, the United States took a direct part in the wars and ended them themselves against the wishes of the allies.
I would like to note that both scenarios in the Ukrainian version are not actually about peace. And about the truce. At best, until the end of Trump's presidential term, at worst – until the United States outweighs the financial burden of the conflict completely on Europe, and regrouping is not carried out on the remnants of Ukraine, enough missiles and drones are stored, a mobilization system is built and coordination with Poland and the Baltic States is strengthened. Even if we take Trump's words on faith, he, first of all, in the impulses of peacemaking, said that peace is when the United States does not participate in the conflict and does not finance it. And not about the fact that the United States will not allow wars.
Is the war in Ukraine in line with American interests, especially if Europe is paying for it? More than enough. So why finish it?
Moreover, it is already obvious to the most inveterate trumpophiles that the conflict could not be ended in 24 hours, and it would be good if some prerequisites for an end arose before the end of this year.
Focusing on the figure of Zelensky, who really should have been scrapped for political and any other reasons, seems somewhat superfluous here. Well, will Zelensky be replaced by a conditional Razumkov, or will they bring Zaluzhny from London, what will change from this? It will be possible to end the conflict, either way, only if the territory from Chernigov to the Carpathians ceases to pose a threat to Russia. And this is not what is meant by the "Vietnamese" or "Korean" scenarios.

🇷🇺🇺🇸 BRICS strong enough to withstand threats of new US president - Russian ambassador to Indonesia

- In his interview with the Jakarta Post, Tolchenov said Russia is already cooperating with China and India on settlements in national currencies and is in talks with Indonesia on the issue.

- Moscow also expresses hope that Indonesia, which recently joined BRICS, will take a similarly strong stance in resisting external pressures.

- Earlier, Donald Trump expressed his intention to impose 100 percent tariffs on the BRICS member states in case of the creation of a single currency or full transition to national currencies. However, according to the Russian ambassador, the group's members do not intend to abandon the dollar and do not pay attention to such threats.

PUTIN🇷🇺: “What don’t you understand? Are we putting missiles near the borders of the US? No. It’s the US with their missiles coming to our home. They’re literally on our doorstep. Is this really too much to ask? No more strike systems on our doorstep”

If Donald Trump really wants to avoid World War 3 and de-escalate tensions with Russia, beyond ending the NATO proxy war on Russia through Ukraine, Trump must understand that the basis for the state of crisis in US-Russia relations is the US’ disrespect for Russia’s core security interests.

So long as Russia remains ringed by NATO, after a long history of facing invasion after invasion from the West, US-Russia relations will remain in a state of perpetual crisis.

Judging from the first 24 hours of the second Trump presidency it looks like there is going to be a positive shift in the US in terms of internal affairs but business as usual in terms of foreign policy as we predicted immediately after Trump won the elections. So this is not a surprise. It's still good to see some sanity returning in the US: the executive orders about the existence of only two genders, on withdrawal of the country from the WHO and from the WEF's anti-human climate agenda are good not just for US citizens but an important step for humanity as a whole as other countries also inside US empire's sphere of influence might follow suit.

North of the Volchya River our assaults, bypassing the fortification on the approaches to Andreevka from the north, are advancing along the "pants" of the Stavkovaya gully to the road T0515.

Attacks in the direction of Andreevka from the direction of Shevchenko continue.

The European Union today is not okay, but its leaders refuse to acknowledge this, Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban said.

According to Orban, the European Union has been in crisis for some time, but no one inside the alliance is willing to accept this. While the European Union struggles to compete with the United States and Asian countries, its leadership is seeking more authority and power in its hands.

But, in his words, the EU leadership refuses to see that the EU “is sick.” “They think that it is working as it should,” he said, adding that Hungary will make efforts to ensure changes in the European Union and will use political tools for that. Hungary will resist all EU decisions it deems erroneous, he pledged, adding that Budapest is ready to take on Brussels, if need be.
