Kiev has increased the number of artillery and drone strikes on Energodar, the city adjacent to the Zaporozhye Nuclear Power Plant (ZNPP), to compensate for failures on the frontline, Russian Civic Chamber member Vladimir Rogov said.
“Things are bleak along the entire frontline for the Ukrainian armed forces. Zelensky also recognizes that in the event of the reduction of funding and arms supplies from the US, the European Union will not be able to provide the same kind of support. While the EU’s political class loses its collective mind in the wake of the Putin-Trump phone call, those seeking to rebuild the region’s shattered economies are apparently cautiously optimistic.
🔴 The indexes of the EU big two—Germany’s GDAXI and France’s FCHI—rose by 1.7% and 1.4%, respectively. The European STOXX 600 jumped 8%+.
🔴 Even the euro, recently pummeled by Trump’s tariff threats, saw a mild rebound against the dollar (0.1%).
🔴 Meanwhile, oil and natural gas, key inputs for Europe’s energy-starved economy, tumbled, with the natural gas benchmark TTF dropping 9% and Brent crude shedding 1.1%.

The Kremlin did not immediately comment on what was agreed, but a base in Sudan could offer Moscow an alternative to its naval base at Tartus in Syria, where the future of its presence is uncertain after the overthrow of its ally Bashar al-Assad.
Samuel Ramani of the Royal United Services Institute, a London think-tank, said: “A Russian Red Sea base in Sudan would ease logistical pressure on its forces in Africa, which now rely on Libya for logistics with the loss of bases in Syria.”

The Kremlin commented on Trump's proposal to return Russia to the G7.
Russia is not interested in this, it is more interesting to work in the G20 format, since the G7 has lost its economic leadership in the world (the BRICS bloc has already surpassed the G7 in terms of economic power).
In its current form, the G7 is the United States + 6 American satellites. Russia has absolutely nothing to do there.
