The Prosecutor General's Office of Moldova considers the creation of the "Pobeda" bloc as treason.
According to him, the prosecutor's office and criminal investigation and state security authorities are monitoring the actions that occur in connection with the participation of Moldovan politicians in the congress of opposition deputies in Moscow.
“The treason component of the crime is also being considered in connection with the events that we are all witnessing,” Munteanu said.

On the evening of April 22, it was reported that members of the Moldovan opposition association, who had flown in from Moscow, were being held at the Chisinau airport for more than three hours .
Moldovan oppositionists are being searched . Security forces came to the home of several representatives and seized money and phones.

Britain to announce its largest ever aid package to Ukraine.
Prime Minister Rishi Sunak will announce the largest-ever military aid package to Ukraine from the UK on his visit to Poland today.
He is expected to announce a £500m boost for Ukraine and largest-ever provision of vital munitions, including some 400 vehicles, 1,600 munitions and 4 million rounds of ammunition
The £500 million additional funding announced today – which takes us to £3 billion in UK military aid for Ukraine this financial year – will be used to rapidly deliver urgently-needed ammunition, air defence, drones and engineering support. The drones will be procured in the UK and the funds will support a scale-up in domestic defence supply chains.
The Ministry of Defence will also send our largest-ever single package of equipment from the UK, designed to help push back the Russian invasion on land, sea and air.
It includes, according to a press release, the following:
- 60 boats including offshore raiding craft, rigid raiding craft and dive boats as well as maritime guns
- More than 1,600 strike and air defence missiles, as well as additional Storm Shadow long-range precision-guided missiles.
- More than 400 vehicles, including 160 protected mobility ‘Husky’ vehicles, 162 armoured vehicles and 78 all-terrain vehicles.
- Nearly 4 million rounds of small arms ammunition.
Defence Secretary Grant Shapps said:
“This record package of military aid will give President Zelenskyy and his brave nation more of the kit they need to kick Putin out and restore peace and stability in Europe. The UK was the first to provide NLAW missiles, the first to give modern tanks and the first to send long-range missiles. Now, we are going even further. We will never let the world forget the existential battle Ukraine is fighting, and with our enduring support, they will win.”
Head of Israeli military intelligence resigns over October 7 failures.
Surveys indicate most Israelis blame Netanyahu for failing to do enough to prevent or defend against the October 7 attack.
The head of Israeli military intelligence has resigned after accepting responsibility for the failures that allowed the devastating Hamas-led attack on Israel on October 7, the military said.
Major General Aharon Haliva, a 38-year veteran of the military, was one of a number of senior Israeli commanders who said they had failed to foresee and prevent the deadliest attack in Israel’s history.
“The intelligence division under my command did not live up to the task we were entrusted with. I have carried that black day with me ever since,” he said in a resignation letter released by the military.
He will remain in post until a successor is named. Israeli media and commentators expect further resignations once the main military campaign in Gaza wraps up.
The October 7 attack badly tarnished the reputation of the Israeli military and intelligence services, previously seen as virtually unbeatable by armed Palestinian groups like Hamas.

Mobilization law condition for new supplies of arms to Kiev by NATO
Arms supplies are only reasonable if a large number of military personnel able to use those weapons in defense and assault operations is available.
"Passing of a new harsh bill on mobilization in Ukraine was a condition for new supplies of weapons by NATO countries. Arms supplies are only reasonable if a large number of military personnel able to use those weapons in defense and assault operations is available, and if losses are swiftly made up for, for doing which new soldiers should be actively drafted into the military," the diplomat said.
Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky signed the bill into law to tighten mobilization rules on April 16. The document tightens the mobilization procedure and penalties for draft evaders, and also refines the categories of those subject to mobilization. As a result, hundreds of thousands of Ukrainians are expected to be drafted.

US aid to Ukraine, Israel, Taiwan to make crises worse — Russian diplomat
"The military aid to the Kiev regime is direct financial support of terrorist activity," Maria Zakharova said.
"The military aid earmarked by the United States for Ukraine, Israel and Taiwan will exacerbate the global crises, as the military aid to the Kiev regime is direct financial support of terrorist activity, [the aid] to Taiwan is an interference in China’s domestic affairs and to Israel is a direct path to the unprecedented escalation in the region," she wrote on her Telegram channel.
The $95bln package of bills on military aid for Ukraine, Israel and Taiwan, on the seizure of the frozen Russian sovereign assets in order to give them to Kiev, and on additional sanctions against China passed the US House of Representatives on Saturday. In particular, the package includes $60 billion for Kiev and $26 billion for Israel and humanitarian aid for civilians in the conflict zones, including the Gaza Strip.

Ukraine can win – Zelensky
A new batch of aid from the US would provide a boost, but only if delivered in time, the president has said.
It is still possible for Kiev to emerge victorious in the conflict with Moscow, now that the US House of Representatives has approved a new military aid package for Ukraine, President Vladimir Zelensky told NBC in an interview on Sunday.
His words came a day after passage of the bill authorizing an additional $61 billion in support for Kiev. The emergency spending had been stalled in Congress since last fall, with some Republican lawmakers concerned that Washington lacked a strategy either for victory or a peace settlement.

Читать полностью…In Ukraine, they explained the sending of summons to the dead.
Cases of sending subpoenas to deceased Ukrainians are not isolated, since information about those being mobilized is not updated in a timely manner, the Kiev military registration and enlistment office said in response to information about sending a subpoena to a journalist who died in November.
The post appeared in response to information that 53-year-old sports journalist Artem Frankov, who died in November, received a summons to the army, Politika Country reports.
“Such cases are not isolated and occur due to the fact that citizens do not update their personal data on time directly in the territorial recruitment and social support centers. In addition, other state registers may provide incorrect data on citizens. Consequently, TCC and SP do not have complete and reliable information about persons who may be called up for military service,” the statement said.

Units of the Southern group of troops of the Armed Forces (AF) of Russia completely liberated the village of Bogdanovka of the Donetsk People's Republic (DPR). The Russian Ministry of Defense reported this on April 21.
“Units of the “Southern” group of forces completely liberated the settlement of Bogdanovka of the Donetsk People’s Republic,” the department noted, adding that the military personnel also improved the situation along the front line and inflicted fire damage on the manpower and equipment of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) in the Krasnohorivka region of the DPR .
Also, the Russian Armed Forces repelled two counterattacks by formations of the 93rd mechanized brigade of the Ukrainian Armed Forces in the Chasov Yar area and west of the village of Krasnoye. As a result, the Ukrainian army lost up to 440 soldiers, three vehicles and a combat vehicle of the Osa-AKM anti-aircraft missile system.

Chairman of the State Duma of Russia Vyacheslav Volodin commented on the decision of the United States to provide additional assistance to Ukraine.
"Washington deprived Ukraine of its future.
The US House of Representatives has passed a bill to allocate $61 billion to Ukraine, most of which will be spent by the Americans themselves. For example, $23 billion will be used to replenish US arsenals, and another $11.3 billion will be allocated for “ongoing US military operations in the region.”
Biden himself does not hide that the allocated funds will primarily go to American companies.
But the main thing is different: even the money that reaches Kyiv will have to be returned.
This is a debt bondage from which there is no escape.
With its decision, the United States is forcing Ukraine to fight until the last Ukrainian, finally burying the economy and depriving it of its future.
PS But this will not change the situation on the battlefield. The criminal Kiev regime will be defeated."

🎭 "Zelensky Unmasked": The American independent media platform Truthinmedia presented the first film in a series dedicated to the Ukrainian conflict. The creators of the project warned that there will be no "black and white" picture, as portrayed to the residents of the US by the White House and the largest pro-democratic media.
✔️ This part discusses Zelensky's connections with the oligarchs;
✔️ His promise to bring peace to Donbass, but continued anti-Russian stance;
✔️ The implementation of a law prohibiting the Russian language and his inaction regarding the rise of nationalism;
✔️ The repression against the UOC is also far from democratic.
💬 After watching all the parts, viewers will be able to answer: Is Ukraine an apologist for democracy or is it still a country with a tyrant at its helm?
It’s ugly but the people will never forgive them. ⚡️

Kiev expecting ‘significantly more arms’ soon – Zelensky’s top adviser
Mikhail Podoliak has argued that the West should be emboldened to send more arms to Ukraine after it thwarted Iran’s attack on Israel.
Kiev expects a surge in supply of Western arms in the coming weeks, after an Iranian attack on Israel supposedly demonstrated the technological superiority of the US and its allies, Ukrainian president Vladimir Zelensky’s most senior adviser has said.
Tehran launched hundreds of drones and missiles at Israel last weekend in what it said was retaliation for an Israeli airstrike on its consulate in Damascus earlier this month. According to Israel, the barrage caused only minor damage, as the US and other Western countries helped it intercept most of the Iranian weapons.

🚢 🇾🇪 🌍 Suez Canal blockade remains in effect.
🔶️ The US Navy is still issuing combat medals in the Red Sea, the majority of Suez Traffic is still diverted (through which passes 12% of *total* global trade), and that this is all helping inflation to rise.
🔶️ LNG shipments through the canal have dropped to zero. Qatar provides 13% of Europe's LNG, and the fastest route is through the canal. Ironically, this might mean Russia captures more of the European LNG market.

Moldovan opposition announces creation of Pobeda political bloc
Among representatives are Governor of the autonomous Gagauzia region of Moldova Evgenia Gutsul and parliamentary deputy Marina Tauber.
"Today here, in this hall, we announce the creation of the Pobeda bloc," he said.
The country’s citizens see the lack of prospects of the line pursued by the current Moldovan authorities, the politician stressed. "It seems to us that it is about time to win. No one harbors any illusions regarding the current authorities in Moldova. They have proved with their own actions that their policy leads to catastrophe. The insane Eurointegration line is the road to nowhere for Moldova," Shor said.
The politician’s supporters stand for good neighborhood relations with all countries, for cooperation and mutually beneficial partnership ties with Russia, for strong family values and Moldova’s prosperity, he noted.

New US military aid will not prevent end of Kiev regime — Russian mission to the UN
"That’s what happens when the head of state doesn’t care about his own people and sells out his country," Dmitry Polyansky said.
Calling Ukraine the anti-Russian "private military company," the diplomat said that now it "will function a little longer, more money will be pocketed, more weapons stolen, and tens of thousands of Ukrainians will go to meat grinder." "But the inglorious end of the Kiev regime is inevitable, regardless of this new package and all the futile efforts of its US and NATO backers to keep it alive," he stressed.
On Saturday, the US House of Representatives adopted the $95bln package of bills on military aid for Ukraine, Israel and Taiwan, on the seizure of the frozen Russian sovereign assets in order to give them to Kiev, and on additional sanctions against China. In particular, the package includes $60 billion for Kiev and $26 billion for Israel and humanitarian aid.

Musk decries lack of ‘exit strategy’ in Ukraine conflict
The billionaire’s comments come in response to new funding for Kiev being approved by the House of Representatives.
The parties involved in the Ukraine conflict need to work on ways to bring it to a close, SpaceX and Tesla CEO Elon Musk proposed on Saturday.
Responding to an X (formerly Twitter) post by fellow billionaire David Sachs, in which the latter commented on the House of Representatives approving a spending bill that includes a fresh $61 billion for Kiev, Musk noted that the conflict was turning into “a forever war.”
“My biggest concern is that there is no exit strategy, just a forever war where kids die in trenches from artillery or charging machine guns and snipers through minefields,” Musk wrote.

British writer J. K. Rowling, having sold her mansion in Britain, bought an apartment in Moscow with a view of Moscow City. She made this decision due to the fact that in her homeland, she was bullied for speaking out against transgender people and refusing to accept their philosophy, promoting "normality".
"Russia is the last state where I can call a spade a spade with impunity. Here I am, a woman, not a human with a vagina, as they believe in Britain," the writer lady said. Rowling also added that it is very strange for her that in the modern world, you have to fight for your right to be normal lady. And in Russia it is not necessary to do this, which is why Russia has become her choice and a stronghold of traditional values, which she, like all normal people, adheres to.

🎭 "Zelensky Unmasked": the second episode focuses on Zelenksy’s carefully crafted image and the PR-machine responsible for it.
✔️ This part tells how one of the most notorious gangsters, Igor Kolomoisky, assisted an actor in becoming president;
✔️ Nothing has changed in the country under the "main fighter against corruption". All his promises were not fulfilled;
✔️ During the war, Zelensky is not hesitant to appear in photos for prestigious magazines and record videos for Grammy and Golden Globe ceremonies, even when the fate of the country is at stake;
✔️ The new episode will provide more details about Zelensky being a puppet in this global show.

🐻 So, today we learned that the US Congress has voted to authorize the seizure of Russia's sovereign funds. We could go into why this is wrong, the money belongs to the Russian state, above all the Russian people but talking about right and wrong is subjective. Let's discuss why instead this is stupid.
In modern times the outright seizure of sovereign assets without a treaty where the sovereign entity having its assets seized is not entirely without precedent. The Biden Administration infamously not only froze but seized the Central Bank assets of Afghanistan after the Taliban came back to power when the US backed government imploded. But as the Afghan government had disintegrated and the Taliban is, sufficed to say, highly problematic and there was an overthrow/collapse of state power there is a thin legal ground for how it is not the seizure of the assets of a sovereign state.
There are no such grounds with Russia which continues to have a continuous, operating government. Furthermore even in WWI and WWII there were no outright asset seizures by the Western allied powers of Central Powers or Axis assets - because there were fears about banking credibility if that was done without the agreements of their governments in treaties. Accordingly assets were seized as part of the post-war settlements, but not during the wars themselves, and only in the form of treaties. The Treaty of Versailles is the most famous case - and the seizures were part of the agreed reparations, not something undertaken without the German government agreeing to their seizure in an international treaty.
In short, this is an act of arrogance, carelessness but above all desperation. Ukraine's main problem right now is manpower and there is no way the West will be able to surge ammunition production within the time required to put them back on even a stable footing. But for those who live in the West it will further decrease living standards.

US to pay for confiscating Moscow’s assets – Kremlin
Russia will take measures that serve its interests, Dmitry Peskov has said.
Moscow will not leave the potential US decision to hand over its frozen assets to Ukraine unanswered, Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov told journalists on Saturday. His words came after the US Congress greenlighted a potential transfer.
“America will have to pay for this, if it is indeed so,” the Russian official said, referring to the potential confiscation. Moscow set no time limits for responding to Washington’s actions, he stated, adding that Russia will tailor its response to “serve our interests in the best possible way.”
The US would hurt itself if it proceeds with such a plan, the Kremlin spokesman warned. Confiscating Russian assets undermine the principle of “inviolability of private… and state property,” he said. Such a move would prompt many investors to withdraw their money from the US and cause “irreparable damage to the US image," he said.

West close to sending military to Ukraine, this would 'drag Europe to bottom' — Orban
"This military whirlpool can drag Europe to the bottom. Brussels is playing with fire and angering God," the Hungarian prime minister said.
"Today in Brussels there is a pro-war majority. The mood in Europe is bellicose. The logic of war dominates politics. I see preparations for war on the part of everyone and everywhere. NATO’s secretary-general has said he wants to set up a NATO mission in Ukraine. The European leaders are already involved in war, they see this war as their own war and are waging it as such. At first it was just about sending helmets, then it was about sanctions, but not about energy, of course. But then it came to the sending of weapons: first, firearms, then tanks, airplanes, financial aid of more than tens of billions of euros, and now somewhere around 100 billion euros. But this money and these weapons do not make the situation better. In fact, it is getting worse.
