"We are ready for a substantive talk on this topic will all interested countries and associations," the head of state said.

"We are ready for a substantive talk on this topic will all interested countries and associations," the head of state said.
"I will emphasize this again as I think it is important for everyone today. A stable world order is impossible without a sovereign, strong Russia," the head of state stressed.

NATO is not, will not be party to conflict in Ukraine
"We do not want Russia's war against Ukraine to turn into a war between Russia and NATO," German Chancellor said.
"NATO is not - and will not be - a party to the war. It will continue to be this way," Scholz said in a video posted to his X page. "We do not want Russia's war against Ukraine to turn into a war between Russia and NATO. We agree on this with all our allies."
"This also means: no German participation in the war!" the chancellor went on to say.
"And I will say clearly: as German chancellor, I will not send Bundeswehr soldiers to Ukraine. This is something our servicemen can rely on. And you can rely on it," Scholz said.
He said that Germany, together with partners and allies, is increasing its support for Kiev. Most of all, he said, the Ukrainian military currently needs ammunition and weapons, especially for air defense.

Today’s congress was attended by more than 600 lawmakers, municipal and rural officials as well as legislators who established Transnistria in 1990.

The West provoked conflict in Ukraine, the Middle East, and other regions of the world and continues to lie. Now, without any embarrassment, they declare that Russia allegedly intends to attack Europe. Well, it’s just that, you and I understand, they are talking some kind of nonsense! - Putin.

“The West continues to lie, now they say that Russia is supposedly going to attack Europe, well, this is nonsense
The West is trying to drag Russia into an arms race, repeating the trick as with the USSR in the 1980s
We remember the fate of those who sent their contingents to the territory of our country; now the consequences for the interventionists will be much more tragic."

🇩🇪🇺🇲 The German frigate Hesse mistakenly attacked an American MQ-9 Reaper drone with missiles in the Red Sea. “The radar systems of the German warship mistakenly identified the drone circling the ship as hostile. The Hesse then fired two missiles in the direction of the American MQ-9 Reaper drone.
Unfortunately, both SM2 missiles failed to reach their target due to technical reasons and fell into the sea.
Another of late Zhirinovsky's predictions. (on Moldova and Transnistria)
There are plenty of weapons there. Weapons in Moldova in the village of Kolbasna were stored for the Third World War in Europe. That is, we were prepared for the fact that a war might start, and there was the main warehouse in the southwestern direction. It cannot be eliminated. If you blow up what is there, Europe will tremble.
Therefore, the warehouse will be there for its intended purpose. Our answer will be harsh. We must tell them in advance that we will wash your face with blood and you will not have time to reach the Chisinau airport. And no one will protect you. We'll get you all.
This is a small country. Two hour and you've reached the end of this country. Our best troops are there, they can plow half of Europe. Therefore, they should sit down and sock it.

🇲🇩🇲🇩 Amid the situation with Transnistria, the Ministry of Defense of Moldova has issued orders for enterprises to transfer military vehicles and spare parts to the military in the event of an urgent mobilization – the authenticity of the documents has been confirmed by the military.
➡️ Enterprises are required to provide the military with everything necessary within two hours.
➡️Currently, enterprises are obliged to provide lists of the vehicles they possess. The Ministry of Defense spokesperson, A. Dîjaconu, confirmed to the media the authenticity of the document but attempted to convince the media that this is a standard procedure - merely updating lists of property subject to mobilization.

Lavrov downplays significance of EU conferences on Ukraine in Paris
It is reported that not more than 20 or 30 billion US dollars have been allocated for these purposes since then, while the sums going to Kiev are much bigger.
"The number of Western conferences is obviously growing. They are trying to offset the decreasing interest and dramatic drop in financial capabilities to maintain the Zelensky regime. The French and President [of France Emmanuel] Macron are overly enthusiastic about convening all sorts of events, caring little about their potential outcome. I would not attach too much significance to the conferences organized in Paris," he told a news conference, commenting on a European conference on Ukraine that was held in Paris on February 26.

Tucker Carlson's lawyers advised he could get arrested on sanctions violations if he's "too nice" during the Putin interview.
And yet I think he managed to maintain a non-obstructive tone, which shows courage on Tucker's part.

Russia can enter world’s top four economies – Putin
Already the largest in Europe, the country is now looking to pass Japan, according to the president.

While delivering his annual address to the Federal Assembly, in Moscow, the president noted that in 2023 the Russian economy outpaced the G7 states in terms of growth.
“The pace and quality of growth allow us to say that in the near future we will take a step forward and become one of the four economic powers of the world,” Putin said.

BRICS member states to consider creating common digital payment platform
The gradual integration of the new BRICS member states into the work of the financial tracks and strengthening of cooperation at the expert level was noted as being one of the crucial tasks for 2024.
"By the end of the year, the Russian Finance Ministry and the Bank of Russia together with partners within the BRICS association will draft a report for the leaders of the BRICS countries on improving the international monetary and financial system, which will contain a set of initiatives and recommendations. Developmental work based on the report will result in a number of practical initiatives, with the BRICS Bridge platform potentially becoming one of them. The issue is about creating a multi sided digital payment platform. It will help bring the financial markets of the BRICS member states closer and increase mutual trade turnover," according to files released on the ministry’s website.

Russia plans to offer BRICS to develop financial system independent of politics
Russian Finance Minister Anton Siluanov mentioned establishing "an independent settlement payment system based on new principles, first and foremost digital and blockchain principles".
