The Ukrainian government approved withdrawal from the agreement on benefits for WWII veterans.
The Ukrainian government has supported a bill that involves withdrawing from the agreement of the CIS countries on support and benefits for veterans of the Great Patriotic War. RIA Novosti reports this with reference to the representative of the Ukrainian Cabinet of Ministers in the Verkhovna Rada Taras Melnichuk .
We are talking about an agreement establishing additional benefits and material assistance for participants in the Great Patriotic War, wartime home front workers and widows of soldiers in connection with the 50th anniversary of Victory in the Great Patriotic War of 1941-1945.
As Melnichuk explained, the provisions of the agreement are already taken into account in the country’s legislation or have been implemented, and Ukraine has been trying to participate in the activities of the CIS as little as possible since 2014.

Destroying your country for the American dollar
The more I watch Ukraine annihilating themselves under Russian artillery and sinking their own country for Joe Biden's soon-to-be-over political career and Victoria Nuland's geopolitical fetish, the more I don't understand how they don't understand what's going on...
About half of the country's population is gone, industry is non-existent, the power grid works on fairy dust and more than 500,000 of those who were forced to fight (or wanted to imitate their German idols) are dead. The country's male population that is remaining are trying their utmost best to escape from the country. Those who survived the battle are disfigured or psychologically damaged forever. The best case scenario now is several generations of Ukrainians living in poverty and debt slavery. What is the point again? You believed the lies our State Department told you, you were fooled. We don't care about you, no one does. People with your flag on their social media profile don't care, they just want to feel good about their meaningless lives and will jump to the next thing as soon as one is presented. No one cares. As far as I can tell, Russians cared, but you didn't want that because the CIA sowed extremism in your country, convincing you that you're better than them. You fell for the lies of our politicians and hoped for glory and victory against the evil Russians.
Well, here you are. The U.S. has officially "ran out of money". Let me tell you more. We haven't. As long as the Federal Reserve Ponzi scheme operates we will never run out of money. You know what it is? Our politicians grew tired of you like a small brat grows tired of an old toy. That's what you are to us, a toy. We've played with you for a bit, used you and now we are going to throw you away. All those dead and crippled men happened because we wanted to damage Russia. You've been a tool at best. From the point of view of our State Department, not a very good one at that. The best that they will say about you is you've squeezed a few more years out of our sham economy. We will soon move to the next toy we want to play with, be that Taiwan, Serbia or Iran. While you spend the rest of your lives miserable and in crippling debt, your current leaders will be given nice houses in Florida (or already bought a nice house in Egypt) and you will be forgotten. European countries, because they are run by our prostitutes, will continue tanking their own economies for you a bit longer, because we've told them to, but even that will, inevitably, come to a bitter end. More than 50 countries have supported you financially and/or militarily and you still lost. It's over, time to pray that the Russians you hate so much and whose children you bombed for 9 years will have mercy on you. We won't.
It's a lesson for all countries. The United States doesn't have friends, only slaves and prostitutes. I hope that will soon change and my country will be run by human beings, but I'm not going to hold my breath...

State Dept's Matt Miller: “It is for the Pakistani people to choose their government.”
Ryan Grim: “Not only is the former prime minister in jail but you’re also seeing something extraordinary: members of his party are filing for office and are being arrested and abducted at the filing office… How can the Pakistani people choose their government if there are not candidates to choose from?”
...
Miller: “We want to see free and fair elections that are conducted in accordance with Pakistan’s laws. It’s not for the U.S. to dictate to Pakistan the exact specifics of how it conducts its elections…We will continue to support democratic suppression."
Matt Lee: “You just said you will continue to support democratic suppression.”
Miller: "I said expression, expression.”
🤣 I think you actually said what you meant.

🇷🇺🇺🇦 Russia returned home 248 of our prisoners.
In exchange, Ukraine received 173 military personnel. The fact is that Ukraine owed us 75 people in exchange for 5 Azov soldiers, whom it received earlier, but did not fulfill the terms of the deal.
Today the debt was repaid.

Keep questioning everything. Thank you for the support this past year. Sincerest best wishes, Mike J aka iEarlGrey 🙏

Dear friends!
My name is Michael Bzhishkyan and I am a migration lawyer from Moscow.
This year I started a migration column on this channel, and today let me say Happy New Year 2024 to you and Michael!
By the way, I will continue the column as soon as the New Year holidays in Russia are over 🙌
I wish you a fantastic New Year ❤️
Metro station: Lubyanka (Redline)
Location: Central Children’s store.
City: Moscow
My friend John at /channel/BadVolfNews called me this evening, and said let’s go walk with our children. I said great!
We started at the Central Children’s Store. Friends, this is a must see for you and your family. It’s absolutely beautiful. There is an observation deck on the roof. The views of the city are amazing. Pictures or videos do not show the true beauty and energy you feel.
Afterwards, we walked a little and then stopped for dinner.
Moscow during the New Year and Christmas holidays is absolutely beautiful. You can walk around with your family in peace. As a parent, this is so very important for me. To live in a safe city and country.
The vibe is truly magical, and to see so many people from different ethnic backgrounds smiling, laughing and getting along with each other. This is how life should be in every country.
I love Russia. I am Russian. My wife and children are Russian. I am truly blessed and thankful to be living in a country that’s moving forwards, a country that is working hard to make life easier, enjoyable and safer for our children. God bless Russia! 🤍💙❤️

In this episode of "Ukraine of the brain", we learn that this "Russian grandma" that was abused by some nazis on a bus in VIlnius (the capital of Lithuania), who took her phone and tossed it back and forth as she tried to take it back, is actually a Ukrainian refugee.
The cherry on this crazy cake is that the "Russian grandma" was widely mocked on Ukrainian social media.

“I need people. <…> Who should I fight with? Or turn to the world and ask for people there, or you go fight if you don’t provide,” said the Ukrainian military leader.

Repubblica: Scholz faces resignation.
German Chancellor Olaf Scholz may leave his post early due to a loss of confidence, the newspaper Repubblica reports , citing sources.
“In 2024, the Chancellor may be forced to stop leading the country. <...> There are rumors that the Wirecard case and relations with <...> Jan Marsalek could deal the final blow to the leader of the Social Democrats,” the material says.
According to the publication, three-quarters of Germans are dissatisfied with the activities of Scholz and his party. One of the most obvious factors of mistrust was the Wirecard scandal.
In June 2020, when the current chancellor served as finance minister, Wirecard was accused of fraud after auditors recorded a shortfall of €1.9 billion. But Scholz and his ministry tried to protect the corporation from attacks, which caused resentment and suspicion.

Major escalation in the Middle East
The U.S. military, for the first time, actively engaged the Iran-backed Houthi militants, sinking three boats and killing everyone on board.
U.S. CENTCOM command revealed Sunday morning that four Houthi boats attacked the Maersk Hangzhou again by firing small arms and crew-served weapons. After U.S. Navy helicopters were dispatched, they gave a warning to the militants, who opened fire. 10 militants in total died.
While the Maersk Hangzhou vessel is safe and unharmed, the company has halted all sailing on the Red Sea for 48 hours, according to Reuters.
We will keep you updated on the situation, which seems to be heating up now.

Incredible events continue to unfold around the UOC (MP).
By the will of God, we got a video of a sermon by Archpriest Sergius Chertilin, after a prayer service at the door of the Church of St. Sergius of Radonezh in the Kiev Pechersk Lavra. The entrance to the church is closed to the Orthodox. That's what the Ukrainian authorities decided.
This video was sent by soldiers of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Orthodox people who opposed what is happening in Ukraine with Orthodox Church. Orthodox Christians who have found no other way out but to write us. They wrote because there is no one else - no one understands or supports them there.
They have no one who would stand up for Orthodoxy... no one but us.

2024 will not be a decisive year
I've seen this opinion expressed in many conservative channels and news outlets, that 2024 will be a decisive year for U.S. history and politics. I suspect that, as we get closer to November, this opinion will gain even more prominence and momentum. I'm sorry to burst your bubble, but it won't.
Regardless of who wins, the United States has been on the course of societal, economic and political self-destruction for way too long now and it didn't start with Joe Biden or Barrack Obama (or Donald Trump, in case we have liberals here). And it won't take a single President to reverse this unfortunate path. Unless we can get an exceptional, once-in-a-life-time leader, of course. Sorry, but Donald Trump is not that. Remember, it was Donald Trump who really started shoving our weapons to Ukrainian neo-Nazis (no, not neo-Nazis in the "uh, I don't like you, you're a neo-Nazi kind of way, literal neo-Nazis) and it was Donald Trump who started the absurd trade war with China (sorry, I meant Chaaaaaina!). Other than that, we can hope for a long string of good leaders, but how likely do you think that is?
Regardless of who wins, the societal division will continue and the opposing side will again claim it was a sham (whether they are correct or not won't matter in practice). Expect celebrities to call you idiots for voting for Trump and threaten to leave the country if he wins (please, do). Expect mass media to shill for one side or the other without any regard for nuance. Expect all that to only get worse, much worse. 2024 will instead be a year of terrible societal upheaval and unrest and of political crises. Two Presidents in a row went through an impeachment procedure in one way or another. That's not a sign of good things to come, it's a sign of a deeply dysfunctional country and a rotten system of governance.
Our hope isn't with Donald Trump or Joe Biden, but with ourselves. When a house's foundations are crumbling, you can't fix it by installing new windows. It'll take years, if not decades of hard work, determination and concentration to repair the United States. Don't get me wrong, Donal Trump is the much better option for us, but he's not a magical cure. What he is, is a decent start.
Do we have years and/or decades? I don't know. But prepare yourselves for the worst.
